Can someone tell me why baby aspirin is often part of a girl sway?

It can help with implantation and it is used instead of cranberry to make you more acidic without the vitamins of cran.

Im not sure but i would just pick one.I hated taking so many pills so Im glad asprin works the same (if not better) and there are less pills to take.

They are both blood thinners, so I don't think you are supposed to take both together.

I've read the same. I started with cranberry till I realized I can get same effect from baby aspirin without added nutrients.

Im not sure what diet your doing but if it is LE then it makes more sense to take the asprin.

No diet but I'm willing to take some supps lol ... Exaggerating a little because I will be very loosely trying for LE. I think I'll go with baby aspirin (have been taking cranberry for a while). Thanks!

I started with cranberry too, but switched to baby aspirin because of the nutrients also.

I believe you can take both together. I did at one point but a low amount of cranberry. Now I just take baby aspirin, no cranberry supps.

I read that cranberry Is very good at lowering ph. So does baby aspirin lower ph as well?

Cranberry and baby aspirin should not be taken together as they are both blood thinners. It is probably ok for DH to take them both together as they're better tolerated in men.

Baby aspirin is for lowering pH without the added nutrients which come in a cranberry pill.

You can take baby aspirin every day if you can tolerate it - but not if you find you're bruising/bleeding more easily. You will get some benefit from taking it only a couple of times a week so you can start with a little and add more if you feel comfortable or start taking it every day and cut back at any signs that you should.

I actually took it every day in the 2ww (3 days a week leading up to our attempt) and weaned off it once I got my BFP.

It's best to pick one. Doing both just counteracts the benefits of skipping the cran to begin with (adds nutrients) and since they both are blood thinners, doubling up makes the blood thinning aspect even more effective (and not in a good way!!).

Yes and many have found it works just as well in much lower dosage. Test it for yourself, of course.

Plus, baby aspirin, unlike cran, actually is safe in very early pg and may even help to prevent miscarriage a little.

Start by taking it twice a week and see what it does for your pH and see if it makes you more likely to bruise. If your pH stays high and you're not bruising, increase it. But if it works for you at that dosage, no need to increase it.

With supps, you should always take the minimum amount to accomplish your goals.

That is up to you, if you find it makes AF heavier, you might want to give it a pass while AF is in town.

my experience is that if I take one at the very beginning of AF, it does get a little bit heavier but also is a good day shorter!!

One additional tidbit is that no one should ever take Sudafed with baby aspirin OR cran and I would prefer if no one ever took Sudafed at ALL. Sudafed has been linked to an increased risk of sudden strokes in young, otherwise healthy women who were taking blood thinners.

Saw Palmetto can also be somewhat of a blood thinner (altho seems less effective than either aspirin or cran) so be aware of this risk!!!

IG had them both to be taken together but I do not believe this to be at all safe for your health.

It is called "low-dose" aspirin. Reg aspirin is fine. Just look for one that has a dosage of about 70-85 mg.

Do you mean just cranberry supps or juice as well? Can zyrtec be taken with baby aspirin? that is what i'm using.

Cranberry supps. Juice is fine because you would have to drink a hundred gallons or more to equal the amount in one cran supp.

Zyrtec is safe with baby aspirin, just not Sudafed.
