Hi! When I was ttc my dd some threads I would share what I ate that day, seeing what others eat is very helpful! I am clueless what to eat, I usually just eat the sides of dinner I cook and a pop tart for lunch. I need to do better on the diet! Starting tomorrow I am going to be trying my best. I want to start trying by November :)

Me!!! I was hoping someone would start a thread like this. I'll join in tomorrow because I already had a ton of cake today.
My goal is to do low calorie, low sugar, low processed carbs. I'll try to post my daily calories, because that will hopefully motivate me enough to count calories.

Are we talking ttc girl? Today I had coffee, probably two pieces of whole wheat matza. Some cream cheese, grilled eggplant salad. I had triscuits hint of salt, a spoonful of salmon. One egg. Coconut water. Wine. Lol. I don't think I'm eating enough lately because I'm starting to feel weak. Had two veggie burgers... usually I'm more organized with my meals but today was crazy with kids home and working on my yard.... little bit of my diary. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180715/b38a652e429023c5b60744cfb26f6b05.jpg

I felt like I was constantly eating today but I guess at least it turns out it wasn’t lots of fats or protein! I need to get back on track with my diet. I’m currently in the 2ww and convincing myself to keep going is hard.
I had coffee, a salmon burger, Frappuccino, more coffee, pizza, a cookie, & lots of crystal light.

I've been very hungry. Transitioning to whole grain and no sugar because I'm unsure of my pcos status. I already do whole milk. So it is still difficult for me. I made pizza for dinner and made myself a separate batch of dough with a sprinkle of salt, no sugar, and whole spelt flour. I didnt have whole wheat. Did no added salt tomato sauce and a mixture of cheese, one low fat low sodium. And some grilled eggplant. Was nice to eat with everyone. An iceberg salad with a tiny bit of oil, spices, and splash of balsamic. I have no idea how to calculate nutrients...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180716/1c4dfd8445919b719dc1d62de30552cc.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180716/fef885e6f2e7b74e36e64aa3e51c3172.jpg

Ate: coffee, creamer, carrots, hummus, apple, peanut butter, enchiladas, refried beans, rice.

22 grams of fatI agree, that does seem low. Why are you only eating one meal a day? Makes me feel like I'm overeating. Lol. I eat 3 meals a day. I am still hungry. I drink coffee in the morn. Eat lunch at about 12 with coffee and either bread, matzo or crackers with salad and cheese. Then about 4 another full meal. Then 7 another meal. All under 1500 calories. 50 fat and protein.

I agree, 1200 cal or lower seems very strict to me, and the protein and fat amounts are also veeeeery low.
I don’t want to frighten you, but in the first few weeks I also thought the lower the better, and my luteal phase decreased to 8 days which meant getting pregnant became significantly harder and my gyn told me that a short LP always has something to do with poor egg quality.
So I would really recommend to talk with Atomic, what she thinks. She always mentions the importance of the lower ends of the limits :)
I have to admit that I don’t restrict my cal intake anymore because I want to hold my weight steady and under 2300 cals I would lose weight :)
My 3 meals look like this:
After getting up: coffee with a splash of full fat milk.
10:00: most of the time a banana, a few slices of bread with a small amount of (vegan) butter or a croissant.
14:00: fruit with ice cream to boost my fat intake or a soup with bread
18:30: normal dinner with my family, most of the time rice, potatoes or pasta, or sushi,... always vegetarian for me.
After dinner I have to calculate if fat or protein is missing and I add a boiled egg, chocolate, ice cream or fat free sweets if I haven’t had enough.
I aim for 60g of f and p.
Ah, and most of the evenings I have white wine.

Gesendet von iPhone mit TapatalkLove your daily meal plan. I was doing similar but changed when atomic recommended sugar free. And I still didn't shop. So my ice cream all has sugar... and most things I had were white flour carbs. I added larabars to get fat and nuts in. I used to be excellent on all the parts to my diet and had wine every evening. But now I'm still figuring out the fertility diet and it's not easy. That's why I like this thread. I'm looking for ideas. I'm gonna make soup today I hope with cauliflower and leek and zucchini. Then I will have toast with butter with it.
Training my toddler so its hard for me to leave the house. I would call in an order but I need to look around to figure out what i can eat. Please keep daily meals coming. I'm desperate for ideas. And so tired of eggplant and iceberg lettuce. And its brutal hot here, but I'll do soup anyhow.

I have small lunch then dinner and a small snack before bedtime. Yes it’s normal for me. I could eat a bunch of cookies and cake all day long, I am more of a sweet and junk food eater not protein lol
Atomic suggest adding more carbs last time. I won’t be trying till about October.
I think any ice cream is fine as long as it’s in limit of your daily intake.

If you have a high tech blender you could try nicecream with full fat cream..
Slice brownish bananas into small chunks and freeze them, then just blend it with cream until it’s ice-cream-like. You could try chocolate flavor too, with cocoa powder. Adds some fat through the cocoa.
Or...avocados...when I was vegan I often had avocado chocolate mousse, when you blend avocado, mashed bananas and cocoa powder. You can find the recipe online!
Or.. nut butter on your toast?
Or...home made chocolate with coconut oil (melted) and cocoa powder and some sweetener..
Or...search for vegan sugarfree desserts! They are often full of (healthy though) fats [emoji4]

Here in Europe we often have whole grain products, so all my bread and rice is whole grain...
I also bake with whole grain flour, spelt or wheat, what I have.
Feasting on fruits is a Blog where you can also find many ideas w/o sugar!! :)

I did better today!!!! Ok, didnt get rid of sugar yet.... but better. Thanks Emshe, I think you are my soup person. Made a big pot of soup with zucchini, leek, Japanese yam (white sweet), and small amount of butternut squash and cauliflower. Lots of basil and parsley. Had with toast and butter. Perfection. Tried to eat this ice cream that was low stuff, but I couldn't stomach it. So I just had rice pudding, hence the sugar. I needed to up my fat. Not great on protein but a huge improvement. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180717/8186cf2f1637ed49d5573dd44098218b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180717/3d362772c9479603419fd9d42420b2eb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180717/ac8d84c139e62e821aed951ce6d09b6f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180717/d48da9050e9a09b3749163c53ea7cdeb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180717/8cfa5b4f6c270af49ab89dd3f0bb4c07.jpg

I ate so much sushi though! I wonder if my calorie counter is off or if sushi really is that healthy of a choice? Any insight?

Good news: the past 3 days I've done really well on not eating sweets!
I ended up not counting calories (I'm too lazy), and not avoiding white carbs (pizza, crackers), but I haven't eaten anything that would be considered sweets/dessert. I'm gonna check my weight Sunday morning because I think it's best to check once a week only. I do feel like I have been eating fewer daily calories this way.

im trying to do the PCOS diet, ive stopped eating white bread but i do usually have a wholegrain pitta with my dinner. ive given up sugar altogether which is a massive change for me!! im down 10kg to the lowest weight ive ever been, i just really hope it will work in our favour.
is anyone else having jacket potato? im having one for my tea pretty much every night with lettuce, red pepper, a small amount of grated cheese and either low fat hummus or low fat salad cream.
my usual meals are:
no snacks
breakfast - 4 cups of unsweetened black coffee
dinner- 1 cup almond milk with either a hummus and salad pitta or lentil soup with a plain pitta
tea - a diet coke with some alcohol in it, jacket potato with salad, grated cheese and either hummus or salad cream, one night a week i have wholewheat pasta with a small amount of pesto on it and sometimes i have the roast veg or mash potato and veg from our family meal with vegetarian gravy.
if i fancy something sweet with my meal im having fruit, usually grapes or pineapple, i hope im on the right track :-/ if anything stands out as wrong please let me know :) good luck to everyone with your sways xx

Its so hard for me to look at other ppls diets because I only know what I do. Nothing stands out per se, although very different then my own. Just seems like very little food. As long as you are covering the 50 protein and 50 fat in those choices and 1500 calories at least, I guess it would be good [emoji848] that's all I know about the rules. The limits. Food choices for all of us are incredibly different. So maybe use the apps for intake and post a day and we can see clearer.

thankyou mom25boys :) i worked it all out on my fitness pal right at the beginning so i wouldnt need to track every day and it comes in at the limits Atomic set for me, i did the normal LE diet the last 2 times so this feels like starting from scratch and i keep doubting myself!! though i guess if im in limits and avoiding white flour and sugar then thats the main thing as i dont have pcos im just on the diet due to having an opposite.
LMSM hey :D thankyou for sharing your eating style, that gives me hope!! it sounds like you probably eat quite similar to the PCOS LE diet rather than the sugary crash and burn standard LE? im on the PCOS diet this time due to having had an opposite so its been a whole new diet to get my head around!! im 14 weeks into diet and exercise so ready to ttc from now :) are you guys thinking blue sway in a year or 2? :D

Bleh, I didn't lose any weight by only cutting out sweets.
I think I'll go back to eating sweets and do calorie counting to try to lose these last few pounds.
I've only ever lost weight three ways: calorie counting, being so stressed out that my appetite plummets, and being so sick that I don't want to eat much.

It’s just so easy to pop some sweet stuff and get that feeling of eating “something “ but that is one thing I have to change too, I have to get back to prepping healthy snacks to have at hand :P not for the sway, but to get rid of my belly flab lol breastfeeding is easy now, and both my eldest got to at least that (11 almost 12 m and 17 m) but leap 4 is making her more restless...and the nights are cold, so she wakes up heaps after 1ish, but sleeps soooo soundly when with me that I often bring her into bed in defeat after 4ish so I can at least rest...
Looking forward to the update!!!! :D

Why do you cut out sugar completely, do you have PCOS?
I‘m asking because I also eat a lot of candy. Thought this wouldn’t bother a pink sway ;)

Was the question for me Linni?
I am a blue swayer (or will return to be, rather, just saw a pos5 rom 4b2p and hence “popped in” to say hello here).... and do have pcos tendencies (hence why first two girls I conceived on Clomid)but I personally just want out with empty calories ;)
But assume question is for 4b2p ? ;)

It got late and I was very low on protein and fat. Made a really good smoothie with frozen berries, Dannon whole plain yogurt, sprinkle of equal and sprinkle of my raspberry crystal light powder. So gross, I know. I would never normally touch that stuff.... but smoothie was delish and a quick savehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180724/49569db1c4018a67d70b71d5f7dfc130.jpg

sorry if ive caused confusion Linni, the normal LE diet is full of sugary/empty carbs so if you are doing the standard LE then keep eating your sweets :) the PCOS LE diet is different, you cant have processed sugar or white flour on that version of the diet.
LMSM i was terrible for just eating some sweets in place of real food too!! its just too easy isnt it.. will update on the fb group soon :) enjoy your 4am snuggles and extra sleep with little miss S  it wont last forever she will sleep through soon :)
mom25boys awesome and very inventive save with that smoothie :D

I think milk choc & white choc are the pinker choices, as dark is more healthy & rich with antioxidants or something so more blue? Do a quick search on the forums but I think that’s what I read

Hi everyone haven’t post for a bit, my diet sucks lol. I don’t know what to eat! I been eating sides from dinner I make, or salads. Nothing exciting for lunch but pop tart and some Oreos. Going to go food shopping tomorrow

Diet actually is not too bad. I would like to ttc this month so I'm trying to be a little more careful. But still not going crazy. I eat some chicken and fish, but stay under the calories and fat and protein. Sometimes I have too much sugar or carbs, but I need to be normal and not stress. I can be on this diet for months. I missed 2 days of exercise last week because my kids are home, but I'm trying my best.

I eat a whole grain bagel with margarine at 11 or noon if I can make it. Some days I will have an egg with it. I drink 2-3 decaf americanos a day cause caff makes me jittery. I will also have an apple or some strawberries with the bagel. Next meal is usually some rice and lentils around 4. Then for dinner, around 730/8, I will, for example, have a wrap with some kale or lettuce and either a little chicken/fish or a couple pakoras. Maybe a slice of whole grain bread with margarine if I am still hungry. I probably need to eat more as I am down to 103 lbs this morning but I have a hard time with the diet esp the days I exercise, my weight flys off. Definitely getting enough protein & calories is a challenge for me. I think I am ok for fat cause of the margarine and I try very hard to make it the omega 6 fats. I sip lots of hot water to kill my appetite.
I hope other people manage it better than me! :)
