My name is Meghann and I have 2 little boys I love dearly. I plan to get pregnant with my last baby soon. I would like to sway for a girl! So far I have been taking calcium zinc magnesium supplement and trying to avoid sodium potassium. I bought cranberry but haven’t taken it yet. My plan was to use rephresh or lime tampon but the reading I’m doing here says not to worry about ph?? I would love to be spammed with any ways I can sway for a baby girl!!!

Hi and welcome! Most of us got boys doing things the old school way and so we started this site to find ways of swaying that would actually work for us!

The case against pH is here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html So many of us got pH opposites it became really hard for us to believe in it any more and the science doesn't add up. So I would def. have you leave that out (or use jellies, which haven't worked either and do cut odds of conception but at least are not so harsh/dangerous as the lime tampon)!

Re cranberry - hasn't worked and has major risks and side effects that have led us to completely ditch it. More about that here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/7086-how-lower-ph-via-supps-cran-baby-aspirin-aspartame-other-techniques.html

Many of us got boys with cal-mag and gave it up. I leave it at your discretion as long as you're doing ONLY the supplements and not drinking/eating massive amounts of dairy that have tons and tons of other nutrients in it. I would try to find cal-mag without any added zinc or Vit. D in it.

I have more about the minerals including sodium and potassium in this thread: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/62533-le-diet-faq-2-mineral-madness-edition.html Most of us have given up on the sodium restriction (and our results only went up when we did) and if you are not doing the tons of dairy, it can actually be hard to get enough potassium so you have to be very careful that you're still getting minimum 2500 mg (this is the same as the mineral diets recommend) because that is the minimum required for your body to function adequately.
