Hi there I am finding out the sex of my baby on Wednesday...just wondered if anyone wanted to take a guess at whether it is a boy/girl. I have got a feeling girl, but obviously not sure! I will come back on Wednesday and let you all know :-) Not sure if this will work but here goes :-) 11788

Hey I couldn't guess on your nub but think the skull is boyish , skull theory isn't as accurate as the nub , you should post your pics over in the ultrasound forum on baby centre and ask for turtle she's an sonographer x

The nub looks raised to me and the skull looks boyish too. It's just a guess, I'm going more off the nub than the skull :) when do you find out?

I actually posted my own thread with a couple between the leg shots and I just realized you had replied there also! Lol but there you thought the side view looked girly, maybe the picture was bigger here though I uploaded a bunch there. They "thought" girl and I went for a scan at 13w5d so almost exactly a week after the side view scan. I'll get it confirmed sep 5th, but I'm unsure only because I don't ever see three white lines I've only seen two in all my pictures. Then I also found out that the place I went for a scan (it was elective not at my dr) had told a friend if my friend she was having a girl twice and she gave birth to a boy lol.... Plus they had a really really hard time identifying because my baby was moving so much and wouldn't uncross it's legs for a bit. It was supposed to take 15 minutes and took 45 and two techs to guess girl lol I'm just not confident at all with their decision and it's killing me lol!

skull is very hard to tell straight on without a very definite chin line. Profiles are best because one of the big give aways for boys is the caveman brow line

Thank you! I didn't know that. I've posted this pic to a few different forums and you're the first to respond. I guess I'll have to accept not knowing. The tech really tried to get the baby to turn for a side shot, but it just didn't happen. Bummer!

So I posted my 7 week ultrasound and skull pics from my 11 week ultrasound. Guesses were both girl. However, when I asked what side the yolk sac was on ( at my 11 week appt), the tech said it was on my right and that my placenta was anterior. If yolk sacs are on the right.. Does that lean boy? Or is this info not helpful unless I know the relation to the baby. Would seem tough as the baby was a jumping bean ( and then fell asleep). Thank u guys for listening to me. My hubby just laughs. So glad I have u all to vent to .
