Hi everyone.
Im wondering what is the appropriate way of using vitex in a girl sway? I may like to try it out if it is still getting good stats. If I plan to (maybe) conceive my cycle of October (two months) is that good enough time for it to aid in my sway? Ive had two periods since my loss, and they were not regular per say. A week late the second one around from the first one. input would be great. thanks

It never got good stats LOL.
I have a full essay about vitex here and it has the directions in it https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/1094-vitex-faq-share-your-experiences-here.html?1094-Vitex%21-FAQ-and-share-your-experiences-here=
I cannot at all recommend vitex to anyone who is having an irregular period after a loss. It will be like adding gasoline on a fire. The ONLY times vitex helps correct irregular periods are when a period is irreguar due to moderate to severe PCOS (and even then there are other, better ways to deal with that) and breastfeeding (and i"ve seen enough people who vitex did not help and indeed seemed to make things worse so I'm not even super down with that any more) I would not recommend vitex for you in this situation.
Are you doing the full fat dairy 1 serving a day, 4-6 eggs a week, and 1 serving of salmon if you like it, red meat if you don't? If not, do that, and also drop fiber until your cycle normalizes.

Oh ok. Thanks Atomic that’s good to know. I’ve just been doing the basic LE that I have always been doing. I drink 18% coffee cream in my coffee and I have 2-3 cups a day if that helps with the full fat. Usually I drink a lot of almond milk. I do eat salmon every now and again once a week or two. I have not been taking any folate. I will start the month before I want to try. I don’t know if I should just go back to folic acid. Just nervous about that as I’m convinced that’s why I had my loss because dropping folate. And I don’t know if I’m comfortable to take 4 mg as last time or just take maybe two. If you have advice on this. I wouldn’t say my period is irregular just yet since it’s only been two. I guess this next coming one will determine. Hopefully it should come around the same time as this one so to make things easier. Anyways, I will drop the vitex idea, some some reason I thought you recommended it, I’m going to pull up that article now and read it.

I second not taking Vitex. Totally anecdotal but my experience-- I have thin pcos and go through "spells" several months long of no period. I took vitex during one of those spells, for 2-3 months, and did not get my period in that whole time. I got it 1-2 months after stopping. I don't think the vitex made it worse, but I don't think it did anything at all. Waste of money.

Do you feel like you're getting too many carbs??
Just for giggles, let's have you switch over to 50-60 g protein and fat while keeping calorie count the same. Start having whole grains instead of white, cut way back on sugar, and get more of your cals from fruit and higher carb veg like potatoes.
This site is a clearinghouse of information. I have my opinions but there are a lot of things that are said to sway, and I like to have everything covered here on the site for the people that want to use them. But at this point I can't draw any other conclusion than that while vitex may sway a little bit, it isn't worth the trouble it causes for most people, and we're swaying better with other tactics that don't cause that same amount of trouble.
