Boy timing??

I've read a lot of timing/frequency posts as well as the book but I did have a question.

Which schedule would be better to aim for (assuming all unprotected BD)

O-4, O-2, O AM & PM

OR

O-2, O-1, O AM & PM


I just don't want to diminish DH's sperm counts before O day. I also attached my most current OPK/BBT chart.

0-1 is generally considered that best sweet spot, since it's usually day of positive OPK and more likely to lead to conception than even O day. And I believe it would take release everyday for many days (like from beginning of AF) to truly affect the sperm count.

YOu won't deplete DH with either of those patterns. Of those two I do prefer the one with the O-1 attempts as that is better odds of conception with any/all of those attempts.

THe only way DH really gets depleted is if you have LOTS of attempts before the fertile window opens. So if you started having sex 1-2 times a day after AF ended and kept going all through ovulation that could deplete him. But once the window opens (O-2 thru O day) it will just be adding more and more sperm to the mix, even if an individual batch of sperm may be down a little in terms of numbers, more of them will survive to make it to the egg so those attempts aren't "wasted" like attempts earlier in the cycle will be.
