Had my anomaly scan today. Unfortunately they won't tell us the gender here. I think I saw what could be testicles when she was measuring the thigh bone, a grey circle shape between legs but I'm no expert. And I didn't see 3 lines like I did with my girls.

There's no way to tell from a side profile like this. More than likely the white part is bone and the black spot beneath it is the bladder. Do you have a nub shot from 12/13 weeks we could guess on?

Agh, yes, unfortunately at this stage gestation you need a potty shot. The side profiles are good earlier on but now we need potty action LOL. Adorable baby!!!

I wish it was easy for me to go for a gender scan but I live on a Scottish island and would have to travel to get one done. It's a lot of hassle!

Its going to be a long wait until the birth!

I might just ask the sonographer next time if I see what I think is a scrotum in the hope they say yes or no.

LOL ok good at least I'm consistent.

I do see what appears to be a boy nub to me. at the bottom of the baby's tummy is a sticky outy thing and do you see how it's angled up, slightly? A girl is flatter than that and while your pic at that gestation is earlier than I like to guess, it already appears to be rising which is what happens with a boy. I'm not certain, and it's only a very tentative guess, just that is my guess.

Ah, ok. I didn't think that was a nub but I'm not really used to spotting them.

I understand it's all guesses, it's just for fun.

im not the best at tricky nubs but if what im seeing is the nub then i think boy too :) i dont understand why they refuse to tell you gender? that seems really unfair :(

Maybe next time if I see what I think is a scrotum I will ask :)
