I started swaying 5 months ago.
I'm not even pregnant but i have a strong feeling that if i ever get pregnant again it will be another boy.
I am convinced that its impossible for me to ever get my girl.
In my family its all boys. I am the last girl born in my family. My son has 8 nephews and 0 nieces.
I know it sounds stupid. With my first pregnancy i really was convinced that it was a girl.
Anyone who's gutfeeling was wrong and did get a girl?

I had a gut feeling about my first being boy and second being a girl, well, I have two DSs right now. And I am pregnant with the 3rd boy, and I never really thought I'll end up with three boys. So my gut feeling isn't working for me :)
And about being able to have only boys/girls, yesterday a few people tried to make me think so, so atomic sent a link to her useful and interesting essay about this issue.

IMO as someone who has struggled to get a living son, there is no biological reason for someone not to have or carry a girl (whereas there are rarer reasons for this with a boy). So that's at least one possibility crossed off.

It's really odds on top of all the sway influences at work. When flipping a coin, most people will end up at 50/50 heads and tails when flipped enough, with a minority having different odds just purely because that's how things go statistically.

Gut and intuition is tricky. I think sometimes our unconscious can definitely tell us things, but it is also easily clouded by fears, desires, etc. depending on what kind of person you are. There's a lot of interesting psychological observations on this out there (and my own therapist said she attended a seminar once where someone gave a presentation on how those with eating disorders past or present seemed to have lost their intuition -- and I am a former anorexic!).

I think gut feelings in advance can be meaningless, too. I always had a gut feeling I'd have two boys and a girl purely from a dream. I'm going to be lucky to get even one boy at this rate. I had a gut feeling I'd get my boy in April of 2017 (we ended up not trying at all) and then same feeling this past April (which I did get pregnant and am, but will be surprised if it's a boy honestly). There are tons of posts on here of people whose guts were right and people whose guts were wrong. I think it, like the coin flips, can end up 50/50 too ;)

Yes Elena please read that link (thanks sun for posting!)

EVERYONE can make both boys and girls. There is a very small group of people who can only have healthy boys 50% of the time (so they will lose half the boys they conceive, or their boys will be born very ill) but no one has ever found any reason why any woman could not conceive or carry girls.

I get this question ALL the time. But we have people on here who have boys after 6-7-8 girls and girls after 6-7-8 boys. Anyone with only one boy should NEVER feel this way! :) I made nothing but boys for 20 years, 4 of them, and I could still get a girl!

Remember back to your first pregnancy - your body didn't "know" how to make/carry boys OR girls at that point. you hadn't even been pregnant! So this idea that any of our bodies "can't" carry boys or girls is silly because none of us "know" how to carry any baby when we've never been pregnant. Pregnancy is not something our bodies learn how to do, it is programmed into us and that programming has to apply to both boys and girls or the whole human race would have died out a long time ago. Here is the reason why it makes no sense for anyone to "only make boys" https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/47852-we-only-dont-make-boys.html

I thought my sway girl was a boy till I found out the gender and was shocked! Her name is “Elena” I now I’m swaying again for one last baby girl. It’s just our brain’s over thinking. Best of luck
