I just got my first smiley with FMU. I never used FMU before. A few days ago called the Clearblue digital OPK help line to make sure this was OK. I wanted to catch the surge early.
I wasn't expecting the digital to be positive this am. According to FF I am not going to O until CD 16 or 17, today is CD 12. Usually I O (going by temp) 2 days after my first positive digital. I guess O is coming early!! This actually matches what the Ovacue is saying.
DH and I are both off work today, Dh has released every single day since AF started, and sometimes 2x a day because he would release in morning then we would "mess around" at night! I had been holding off on using rephresh because I did't want my body to be too used to it. Also didn't know smiley would come early.
So here's what I did so far this am:
I did an applicator of rephresh (will dtd later early evening/12 hrs later). My plan was to dtd at first smiley which would be now. But I thought using the rephresh and waiting 12 hrs would be worth it.
I took a zyrtec, I will have DH release this morning and then later today will be second release (and last night he released).
Will be super strict on diet next couple of days, drink tons of crystal light. Will have Dh take hot bath or shower before dtd later.
Any other suggestions?????? Please chime in.

Sounds really, really good!
How many digital have you been using?Because I normally O on CD 15 but didn't really occur to me that O might come early so was only going to use the digitals from CD 13 which in your case would have ment I would have missed O!!! But use the cheapies before which can be a bit hit or miss for me... I don't really want to get through loads of digitals as I am broke with all the X mas shopping I have to do so trying to keep swaying purchses down to the minimum.
P.s what was the result of your hannah tester? Did it work again?
Also if you don't mind me asking how much did you manage to lower your pH as i've only managed to get mine down to 5 so far!! and think we've been on the diet around the same amount of time. I'm slighlty freaking out with only a few weeks to go!!

Hi! Yes I normally don't start digitals so early either, but I figured why not! (They are expensive though). It just happened to occur to me it could come early and I would have missed it-or at least missed the beginning of the surge. I started a day ago-and have been doing 2 a day. Yesterday I did one at like 2pm and 7pm, and then this am when I got my positive so I def caught it early. The best thing that has helped my PH has been rephresh. And it keeps it low for several days. And you can ask me anything! LOL after being on this site-we are all way passed TMI!!!
The Hannah tester did start working again! I was going to go to that thread next. Thanks for the tip. I didn't put it in rice because I took the battery cover of, took out the batteries, and there were small holes where rice would get in. I blow dryed it a little, left to air dry and it works!!! I recalibrated this morning.

Lavenderlime~ I checked with digital OPK this morning 12 hrs after first one (today is CD 13)- NEGATIVE!! I woul;d have missed it this cycle if I had not thought to check early. I usually get first positive on CD 14. Just wanted to follow up I know your right behind me and will be attempting soon, I'd start testing earlier just in case!

1) just know that a pos opk, does not always indicate ovulation (sounds like Yoda LOL) I don't trust the FMU, even tho it is supposed to be ok with Clearblue.
2)Everything else looks perfect, but DO have DH continue to release AFTER your attempt just in case that pos OPK was a fake.

Atomic~
I tested again the next two days and OPK's have been negative. Do you think the first one was a false postive? Can you look at my FF chart and see what you think. THanks

The fact that only one of the temps was above your other temps and no temp dip, makes me think it could def. have been a fake O + one weird high temp. It does happen.
Weird chart, that's for sure! I wouldn't bet against you having ovulated, but I'm not sure you did, either (esp. since your normal pattern is to O later.). Only way to know would be ultrasound or patiently waiting a couple more days so see what happens then.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. DH stopped with the frequent release and has been eating much looser, so hopefully even if O turns out to be CD15 I'd still have a chance of spermies making it from CD 12. Hopefully, I didn't just lose a month :(
I did learn a lot though!
