I know this isnt ideal...but..i would love a 6th baby...ideally a daughter . Hubby isnt fussed about more kids.
He has agreed to have 1 attempt for the next few months and leave it to fate. I think he thinks because im.still bf our 15months old that it wont happen.
What can i do for the next couple of weeks that may help sway girl?? Or is there no hope in such a small time frame...

Well breastfeeding and one attempt are good pink tactics but you could also start skipping breakfast, drop meat from your diet (or cut right back) to lower protein intake, take fibre with your fattiest meal of the day, no snacking!! - stick to 2 to 3 meals a day, 2-3 coffees in the mornings - black or with a dash of milk and no sugar (sweetener is ok) alcohol daily with an evening meal. I'm not sure changes to your diet will be of any help to this first attempt in a couple weeks, but it will help for any following this especially if you dont conceive during the first two cycles. I wouldn't suggest using sylk or represh or j&d as that will lower your odds of conception too much.

I'm assuming your cycles have returned and you'll be doing one attempt at pos opk?

That's all I can think of for now, but others and Atomic will have more to add I'm sure.

Good luck and pink dust!

I would def. start exercise and diet. You may not even get pregnant the first month.

Most important thing this first month is one attempt at first positive OPK (or day before you expect ovulation). One attempt has been pink friendly for reasons we don't fully understand.

Can you get Clomid? That can be a good last minute sway tactic.

In future months I'd have you guys do every 4 days instead of just one attempt to boost odds of conception. After 2 months of e4d I'd go to e4d plus one more attepmt at positive OPK (and please let me know if you need an explanation of what those tactics are!)

Thank u both. Im a vegetarian so meat isnt an issue. Ive conceieved all.5 boys with 1 attempt at ovulation so i think i might need to try just b4.
im terrible for snacking and since bf i have serious sugar cravings so will cut all thst out. i dont usually drink either so will start..tbh with 5 boys its a wonder im not drunk everyday ha ha..
we did actually have an unplanned attempt this month when i got my dates wrong the day after our attempt i got o pains. But didnt get pregnant which is a 1st for me. My period came 16 days after our attempt so i must have ovulated when in thought. What could be the reason i didnt get pregnant? Old eggs? Would bf effect my chances even though my cycles seem to be regular again?? Ive literally got pregnant every time the 1st try a bit like having 6 one night stands except this month...

Well, I would suspect you got boys not because of one attempt but in spite of it.

Even under ideal circumstances, fully fertile human beings doing nothing to sway only have about 20-30% chance of conceiving in any given month. If you've conceived 5 times the first month every time with only one attempt that is insanely lucky and not something you should count on always being the case. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you if it doesn't happen that way.

Breastfeeding may inhibit conception a bit but this is also why it likely sways a bit pink.

Thank u. Ive never assumed i would get pregnant that easy everytime. But then when i didnt it was still a surprise. We tried again on sunday and i started getting ovulation pains and mucus on tuesday and still have both on now on wed. So hoping we may get lucky this month. And the fact its not happening instantly is diff to the othet times so possibly helpful!

:agree: Yes that's what I figured too! I got my boys either 1st or 2nd month and then my girl it took me 6 months!

There is no harm in trying again and so I always recommend doing so to protect against delayed ovulation. Sicne you still have EWCM I'd definitely give it a go.
