Hi everyone!
We have two beautiful daughters, 3 and 1, and I am currently night weaning the 1-year-old in attempts to coax Aunt Flo out of hiding! I’m hoping to start my period soon and get to baby making with a solid boy sway in place. When we conceived our girls, we were definitely, unknowingly swaying pink. I was running 4-6 miles 5-6 x/week, I was eating a pretty low calorie diet( large calorie deficit with all the running). And we were once-a-weekers in the sex department (and I was staying out of town for classes when we conceived #1) AND we conceived girl #2 on ovulation day (high opk with temp spike the next day).
So, this time around we are going to try to sway for a boy. I know my husband would love a boy!
So, from reading what I’ve gathered is for a boy you want to eat higher cal/dense nutrition, have unprotected sex every 3-4 days until +opk then daily for three or four days, and don’t run/cardio like a lunatic like I was. I’ve been drinking 1 V8 every day, lemon water, 1 banana, Raisin Bran with bananas and raisins for breakfast, I’ve been eating lunch, and a healthy dinner (prior to this diet change sometimes is only eat once or twice per day), and I’ve stopped running. I’m also taking a Thorne prenatal vit with 1000 micrograms methylfolate daily. We are gonna have to really work on BD more! What else should I/we be doing? DH one a day men’s 50+? I do drink coffee and wine pretty regularly. Should I cut out alcohol? Coffee? Thanks!

You really are very much already doing what I like to see. I do want to mention that bananas are in NO WAY boy-making foods, that's all a very silly idea about bananas having potassium - but honesty they don't even HAVE that much potassium compared to other fruits and vegetables and have very little other nutrients going on. They're basically adding 100-200 cals of pure sugar to your diet - and HE Diet already can make you gain weight. I would switch the bananas (unless you're in the mood to have a banana!) with a more nutrient rich fruit like peach or blueberry.
I would limit coffee to 1x a day, red wine or dark beer to 2-3 times a week.
I also would love to see you both on probiotics, they have been very pink friendly for us.

Hey, no problem! Thank you for your response! Did you mean that probiotics have been blue friendly? We can both add probiotics. Men’s one a day 50+ for DH. I’ll take mucinex too. And I might go ahead and add fish oil.

Agh yes!!! They are NOT good for pink - evne though other sites will say that they are. Probiotics got such terrible results for us for girls, it was CRAZY! Now we use it only for blue sways.
No more than 500 mg fish oil a day - more may lower cholesterol and make it harder for you to make estrogen/testosterone.

Hi atomic! Well, Aunt Flo arrived! I’m on CD11 now. My husband had surgery on Monday, so we thought we might sit this cycle out and not TTC until next month. He will start working out again in about a week. He is doing P90x3 (30 min instead of 60). I’m considering doing this, because I feel I need to increase my muscle mass. I did strictly cardio (3-6 mi 6 days/week) when I conceived both my daughters, so I think I’m safe doing the p90x3. I have added the probiotics (cultrelle) and 500mg fish oil. My question for you is is it ok that I’m still breastfeeding my 14 month old? Theoretically it decreases estrogen. But I’ve read you aren’t completely sold on the hormone theory. Also, I had my breast implants removed three weeks ago. They had been in for 12 years. And I’m hoping that may make my body healthier (i. e. Less inflammation) and possibly help sway blue. Thoughts? Thanks a bunch!!!

I would have you guys skip this month because you've both had some physical stuff happening and it makes sense to let yourself recover from that first.
While I do think breastfeeding sways a bit pink, I NEVER suggest anyone stop nursing for swaying. Because it's very far from a magic bullet and LOTS of people get boys while nursing (I got one boy while nursing and one girl while nursing) and it's very easy to sway in other ways and totally make up for it. Plus, they're only small once, and you could very easily wean and still get a sway opposite, you know??

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. I think I would feel guilty regardless of gender if I weaned in order to sway!

Atomic, my apologies for all the questions. Which plan would you recommend for me to purchase? I’m hoping to TTC starting in November. Thanks!

No not at all, that's what I'm here for!
If you want a plan, I'd get a personalized one, I'll make it specially for you and it comes with the coaching.
Then, if you want to add things onto that, we have the 21 day diet book and the OPK book and the timing book and the Dream Membership. But the main thing to get is the personalized plan vs. the instant download plan if you want the type of plan I make for you personally and then I"m your daily coach. :)
