Why does IG say not to do Diet Coke or even caffeine free diet coke? Is it because it takes out calcium? Why is it ok or even recommended on here? How many girl swayers on here do it?

I wonder if its because of the amount of sodium in it. I didn't include it at first, but I felt it keeps me from being too hungry and it was worth the trade off.

Is there really that much sodim in it? The caff free diet cola has no caffiene and aspertame and empty calories.. Sounds like a pink win for me!

There is very little sodium in diet soda.

So Diet Coke is ok for Pink sway, but not the regular Coke? I always drink regular coke these days...in fact just finished a can ... Damn, going to switch to diet coke then.
Although I like the taste of regular coke better....

Regular Coke is fine too! esp if you need more calories but are already high in fat, protein, and sodium intake.

I think regular Coke is a very handy weapon in our arsenal.

As part of a meal though, would you say? Rather than drinking it the whole day through and keeping blood sugar levels elevated?

Yes, exactly, as PART of a meal (or a meal itself) but not sucking them down all day long. Use Diet Coke for inbetween meals and reg coke for with a meal

Thanks zana, great clarification there!!
