LBAM, hope your attempt worked also.....those dang opks! Who knows, hopefully you had a nice egg and all went well.
MFC, that sounds good and normal to me too. Update with your new level when they call! Hope you are feeling good! And NO WORRIES.....all is well until a well-qualified professional tells you it is not. And sometimes that is not even the case.
Thanks for the hugs about the due date. I ended up going to this rubbish theater show that we got free tickets to and the damn thing ended up being about abortion and death. Nice. I drank a whole bottle of wine myself and when we got home in bed, I apparently yelled at DH's balls. He thought it was funny, luckily.

Lola - I drank a few on my due date in April as well. Sorry your night sucked but so glad dh had a sense of humor about it.
Thanks everyone! Everything went great, measuring right on and to my amazement I passed my gestational diabetes test. After a few days of Halloween candy I wouldn't have been suprised if my levels were on a temporary spike and that nasty drink would have thrown me over. Luckily it didn't and I don't have to take the three hour test or watch my diet like a hawk. On the other hand I'm starting to feel very heavy lately, getting off the couch and rolling over is getting brutal lol
fx to everyone in the 2ww, hoping for lots of bfp's this month!

3P1B, you look great!! Closing in on the finish line... little Charlie will be here before you know it! :)
MFC, I hope your levels are good. I don't know anything about those numbers, but everyone seems to think they are good, so congrats!
Bec, I hope you get a BFP this time! How nice to know that you O'ed for sure--now sit back and relax fro the 2WW!
LBAM, are you in the 2WW now?
TTC5, good luck with your attempt! How many times are you going to DTD?
We are gearing up for our attempt in a few weeks. I am due for AF soon, and then off we go! My annoying DH is being less and less co-operative about all this, though. He is back to drinking his coffee, and he is still drinking beer and stuff. I am pissed off at him, but I can't really push it, or he will just say no baby. He can be a turd sometimes! I hope he doesn't screw up the whole sway.....

Then said something like "Maybe cos we want one so bad.." oh it made my heart melt to hear those words!!

Lola, that's gold... yelling at DH's balls. Too funny.
MFC, no results yet?
3, lovely belly, just gorgeous! Good to hear you passed the GCT as well and that everything is going great.
2pink, I took 50mg Clomid from CD4-8. I had an u/s on CD10 and then another on CD13. You get the trigger once you have a follicle/s that is big enough. I had my trigger on CD13 as I had a 21mm follicle.
Hobber, thankyou! Hard to enjoy the 2ww though, it's awful! I hear you about DH, mine was always sneaking in a Dr Pepper or beer. Ah well, no point in stressing.
5, your DH sounds like a sweetie. So deep down he really does want another baby, fantasic :) Your plan sounds great!
Cinss, good luck with your next attempt.
Everyone else, hi!!
So I'm having the same cramping and back aches I had last cycle. Not reading too much into seeing as last month was a bfn. My best friend has been trying to have a baby for about 6 months and just found out yesterday that she will need to have IVF due to male and female factors. I feel so sad for her. I really want this cycle to work but then I worry how I will tell her we are pregnant with baby #3 when she hasn't even conceived a first baby :(

Hello again ladies!!! Just wanted to update you all on me.
I had some lab work done about 3 weeks ago. He tested me for:
Insulin
Glucose
Prolactin
Cortisol
Cortisol 24hr urine
Progesterone
Testosterone (free and total)
TSH
All came back perfectly normal!! That's a good thing but still I have no answers for my symptoms. But he wants DH to have a SA and me get an HSG. I'm all for that but the insurance and costs may prevent me from getting an HSG right now. His plan is to put me on Clomid as long as my tubes are clear.

We went to the ballet on Sunday and had a great time. It was about 2 hrs from the house, so it was an all day affair, but worth it. After a crazy busy weekend, and then a craft day (ordaments) today, I think I am going to stay home all week and rest / do schoolwork. I really need to start slowing down. I was wondering what you would do, the site went down for me yesterday just after i saw your tough situation. If it was me i would have gone for it too.
Lets say that you did infact O on CD18 - If you DTD last night it wouldn't have any effect on your attempt because you would already have a fertilized egg implanting, or your egg has died of old age. And if you O on day 24/25 you just gave yourself a better shot at falling pregnant.

Yeah site went down just after I posted, I was checking like crazy to see if it was back and if anyone had replied.
I thought the same as you, If I did O on CD18 I would already have a fertilised egg so last night won't matter.
But if I am Oing now I didn't want the 5 day cutt off so thought it was best to dtd.

Yep, definitely ask about the trigger. When you take Clomid will your doctor monitor you with ultrasounds? As far as I know the trigger will only be prescribed when the follicles reach a certain size and the only way to know this is by having ultrasounds.

Kudos to those who've given up on an unchanging pH. Mine wouldn't budge without bsf so I stopped checking because it had me convinced I was doomed to fail. Hopefuly that gives you all some hope :)

Hi everyone! I've been super busy as well.
To answer someone's question, I get all sorts of free tickets.....one perk of my job....I run a big ballet company so I know all the peeps in the industry where I live. I had no idea this show was about death and abortion, and of course, they don't advertise that! But eh, we had a good night, for the most part.
I have a bunch of comments, so bear with me. I figured better to write all on same post so this thread doesn't get 100 pages deep already!
Hobbers, sorry about your DH. They are frustrating. I would just say maybe try not to worry about the soda/beer, etc, because I don't think it matters that much. I know some DHs are not into the swaying, but the most important thing is that he is probably not smoking much or being super unhealthy and not releasing like 2x a day all month, kwim? Try to control what you can, and just feed him well and ask him to take vits for the health of a future baby, or just crush them up and mix them into the spaghetti sauce, LOL.
LBAM, I think it is common for women to sometimes almost ovulate, and then not, and then actually ovulate a week or so later. Sometimes the body doesn't make enough estrogen to trigger the LH surge and thus, ovulation, and it will gear up and try again. Maybe some of the supps you are taking is causing this, or maybe it is just a random one-time occurrence. Maybe stress about ovulating has an effect.....no one really knows, but as long as you track it and DO ovulate at some point, I think all is well. I think you did now and are safely in the 2ww. I would say if this happens again, maybe try to just dtd every other or every 3rd day for a good stretch of the month and you should have it covered, and be swaying blue with a good sperm count.
2PnB- I took 50mg of Clomid with no trigger shot....which many docs prescribe to start off with. What they will do is likely give you a 50mg scrip, taking anywhere from CD2-4 on for 5 days, and then probably want to do a CD21 progesterone check to see if you ovulated. (And my advice for that is to track your O and just go for the prog check 7 days after O....they always assume you O on CD14, which is stupid medical status quo that is used still.) What I'm saying is that you may not need a trigger, just the Clomid. If you are not ovulating after the Clomid (as evidenced by your progesterone level at 7dpo), then they may add in a trigger.
3P1B- yay for a good appt and passing the GD test! Do you homeschool? How are your girls done so early? I'd love that!
Bec- my advice with your friend would be to just be honest but sensitive while telling her if you get pg. From my stance and situation, I can tell you that I've had many friends say they didn't want to tell me, which made me feel worse, actually. I think real friends will be happy for you even if they have fertility issues....as long as you don't rub it in their faces, which I am sure you wouldn't do anyway. That sucks that she needs ivf though....I am all too familiar with having to stare the lab in the face with the prospect of having a baby, especially because of the price. Just offer your support as much as possible but don't feel bad about announcing if you are pregnant. She will respect you for your honesty and friendship.
Alexis, I gotta say.....I wish we had done an SA way earlier. I don't think it's a bad idea, just to know. Just in case, because things can change for us in a skinny minute with fertility, and I'd hate for you to have months of confusion and frustration if you didn't know like we did. I am much happier now that we know, so we can specifically work on the sperm issue and also have a sense of calm because we know it may take a while. As far as the HSG- my doc wanted me to have one a long time ago, and my out-of-pocket costs would have been over 2K, so I told her we'd wait on that. Odds are if you had babies recently (and yours are little, right?) and haven't had any surgery or anything funny going on down there that you are not blocked. I'll tell ya, girl, sometimes it just takes a while to conceive and there is nothing in the world wrong with you. I would say that Clomid might be a good first step....just a few months on it....and see if that helps. Maybe you are not ovulating as regularly? Also, maybe you guys are missing your o? I don't know, just a few suggestions. I am really glad that your tests all came back good, though! Have you guys been dtd a lot or just a one-time shot? You may need to dtd every other day from CD10-18 or so and see if that helps. My doc recommended that for us early on.
WP- good lord, I am so sorry you are still sick!!!! Glad you had fun at the show also! Seems like you need a week of down time before Christmas mayhem if you can swing it. When is your scan?
MFC- YAY for good numbers!!!! Looks like a sticky bean!!!! xxoo
And hi and lots of love and luck to everyone else, of course!
As for us- not much happening. I am CD10, just trying some different bd patterns to see if it affects DH's good old swimmers. We have decided to just try away until it happens and if nothing ever, then we are as we are. I have decided to investigate donor sperm and IUI just in case in a couple of years I just decide I must have one, but DH is not a big fan of that idea at all (for now). I am not really either, but I just can't stomach paying 25K for a baby. We just can't do it. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

2pink, I would be really careful with ordering Clomid online. It can be quite dangerous if you aren't monitored properly. And you don't really know for sure that what you are ordering is actually 'Clomid'. Totally up to you of course but I would be wary. Is there another doctor you can see?

Thanks for the advice Lola. She knows we are TTC so she would know if I was lying to her about pregnant anyway. It wouldn't feel right not telling her when we eventually get pregnant anyway. She knows we're swaying too so that's why it makes telling her a little bit harder. She would give anything for either gender (as I know you would) and here I am being picky.

I can't sleep on my left side any more because my heart feels like it's under so much pressure and feels like it's going to stop! Kind of worried me, especially because my family has a bad history of heart issues. I'm so frustrated they were closed today and I have to go all weekend with this. My Ob said go to the hospital if it gets bad but I don't know what is considered bad. I just know I feel sick and feels like someone is sitting on my chest.

Hmm if it's happen 2 days in a row now it could be something. Weird it's just happening in the mornings though....
I remember we went to maccas when I was about 8DPO and everything tasted weird, I made Sarah try it in case it was bad but it was fine to her so that was definitely a sign to me. She's actually put off her plans to get pregnant till after my bub is born. We want to see how we go with 1 first then we'll decide if we can handle 2.
We've had my sisters 2 girls everyday for about 2 months while she was renovating a house and the 6 month old is a very difficult baby. She constantly wants to be held and cries all the time and hardly sleeps so that done our heads in lol. Then when she was screaming the 18 month old started too cos she wanted attention, so we'll see what kind of temperament this bub has before we try for another one :)

Kris, I hope you are okay!! I got diagnosed with PVC's during my first pregnancy and had to wear a monitor. I hope your doctor can help you put your mind at ease! DOn't hesitate to go to the hospital if you feel really bad. From my understanding, the heart has to work so much harder during pregnancy, pumping all that extra blood, that sometimes we notice things. I have had PVC's all my life I guess, but they are worse during pregnancy because of the extra blood.

Thanks, I just looked up PVC's as I haven't heard of that before. Not sure if that's what I have but I guess I will find out during the week. Hopefully there is no wait on the monitor, I really need to find out what's going on.

They feel like you heart has a hiccup. That's the best I can describe it. Apparently they are super common, but not harmful unless you have other heart issues I think? My Dr. wasn't concerned. I hope you get some answers soon!

Hobber - woohoo for your upcoming attempt, FX and blue dust!!!
Lola - No homeschool here we are on year round. The track we chose has all December off and we love it! It gives us lots of time to play in the snow (if it ever freakin snows here), bake, engage in any and all Christmas parties and fun without worrying about early mornings or school. It's fantastic!
2PNB - Sorry the dr was so cruel. I've only conceived 1 of my 6 pregnancies at a healthy weight. It takes being 100 or so lbs overweight to dampen your fertility. I say find another dr with a real personality.
I wouldn't order chlomid online, you never know where it's coming from and I know it's dangerous when unmonitored. You don't want to hurt yourself permanently.
Kris - holy cow girl, hope everything is ok!
Sorry about the fussy nieces but remember you have a lot of control over if your baby will be high maintenance and need constant attention. Yes some babies do need more attention then others but crazy high maintenance babies are often parent created.
Does anyone here live in Texas by any chance? Dh may be transferred there depending on the pay and I'd love to have some info not from google. My brain is flooded with the logistics of all of this so I've gotten almost nothing done lol

Oh yeah I see my sisters mistakes, she does run to her as soon as she cries because her father works nights and sleeps during the days. Guess my sister doesn't want him woken up. Hopefully I won't make those same mistakes cos you sure end up paying for it later!

Hey everyone :)
Kris, sorry to hear about your heart problems. Hopefully the monitor can pick up what is going on. Do you get palpitations? Might be SVT?
2pink, it's not the non-monitoring when on Clomid that is the most dangerous. I think getting Clomid online is worse because even though all those companies claim it is 'Clomid' how can you really know? Sorry, I don't mean to nag you or tell you what to do, just be careful! Which, I am sure you will be anyway.
5 and LBAM, testing soon yeah?
MFC, thanks for the good luck... *think* it worked!
I've been super busy with work and xmas parties so haven't been on for a few days. DH wanted me to himself as well. Anyway I did poas again (and again, and again!) and got a faint, barely there line at 10dpo (12 days post trigger). Still getting bfp's today and the line is darker today! I'm just so worried it is the trigger still so I am cautiously optimistic!!

Hey Lola!!! I can't believe the HSG costs so much there! Wow! My hospital said the whole procedure only costs about $900, but is subject to my deductible. Hoping I can get it, but like you said, I got pregnant in August so at least one of my tubes are open lol. But I have had abdominal surgery twice in the past 5 years. They were c-sections lol.
We have tried the every other day thing, every day thing, etc. I am charting and it shows O every month. So...idk. I know it can take a perfectly healthy couple a year to conceive as we only have about a 20% chance of getting pregnant every month. I guess I am just impatient.
I have DH scheduled for a SA in January (earliest appt available). Hoping he doesn't have to go in though. I'm currently 9dpo and feeling pretty good about this cycle. Take a look at my chart. It's the prettiest one I've ever had! FX

YAYYYYYY BEC!!! I think she did test for bfns first....so this is probably the real deal!!! I am so excited to hear how it goes this morning for ya! And on the note about your friend- I know what you mean, it is always hard to see someone get what you so desperately want, but that is life....especially with infertility. Babies and preggos are all around me, and that's just the way it is. My sister is about to ttc and I'm sure she'll be fine....and I'll just have to remove my personal pity party self from that, like I do all of my loved ones and friends who are having babies. Anyway, I am so hoping this is a little bean for you!!!
2PNB: I would have slapped that doctor upside the head. I would most definitely call and complain about him. Search online about writing reviews for docs and such. He sounds like a real winner. I know you have issues with finances and switching docs....believe me, I have a ton of lab bills I'm still paying off from all of my testing, which was not cheap....but I think it may be worth it to do some investigating of a local doc who is recommended by women you know. And ya know, I agree with Bec about the online Clomid....I'm sure there are a couple of good online pharmacies, but I am just wary of that.
Kris, OMG.....I hope you are doing ok!!!! Hopefully they can get your ticker settled down soon enough with some meds if nothing else. Hugs, lady!
TTC5, I'm sorry you have the runs...maybe it is a good sign? Hope this is your month!
3P1B- holy cow, I would love year-round school so much!!! I wish they offered that where I live!! And speaking of that, I grew up in Houston and my family lives in Austin now....so I'm a pretty knowledgable Texan....pm me if you have any questions or need advice.
Alexis- I bet you are just fine, to be honest. Since you conceived recently, it may just be that it's taking more time now, for one reason or another. I do think it's a good idea to have the SA done, though, because male factor is the problem 40% of the time, and men's counts and motility and all can change month to month. For example, if your DH has a mild infection in his body, it can affect the counts drastically. Sometimes all it takes is an antibiotic for a week to clear it up and he's back to normal. Little things like that. And of course, it could be nothing at all but just taking longer this time around! It is very frustrating, though, I know. I would continue to just be as healthy as possible (both of you) and keep trying. How long has it been though? Once you hit a year, you should worry....that is the general rule for under 35s. Hoping it's all good, though. (:
MFC, how are you doing?
So, I think I ovulated yesterday. We tried and interesting new pattern this month. We dtd on CD10 and then waited till yesterday morning (CD14) and dtd then and again last night. FX for some better numbers this month!

Thanks--we waited, and are DTD tonight. I have noticed the late O's as well. I wonder if stress from swaying pushes it back or something? I think part of my issue is that I have a different idea of what CD1 is. I consider CD1 to be the first day of any kind of activity, whether it be spotting or actual flow. So I had spotting on Dec. 2, and I called that CD1, which means that today is CD13. But if I have to count CD1 and the day of actual flow, then today is really just CD12. Does that make sense?

9dpo bfn with fmu on an ic.
no symtoms either.. the runs stopped lasted four mornings in a row from 3dpo - 6do. Do have heartburn every night but I don't think that means anything.
Oh my skin is breaking out everywhere though!!!!! Forgot that lol

So I am supposed to DTD today or tomorrow...think I will start tonight if my opks ever turn +! I am surprised I haven't gotten a + yet... tons of EWCM, though. I am on CD12, and I usually get + by now. Hopefully by tonight! DH has abstained 2 days so far (a miracle!) so I have to DTD tonight or tomorrow morning, or I think he will "help himself" and ruin everything!
Good luck with your testing, LBAM and TTC5!
Hi Hobber, I would wait for the opk to turn positive. GL with whatever you decide.

Hoping to see some more BFPs soon ladies!
I got my results today, hcg was quite low so I am pretty sure it's a chemical :( Have to go back on Monday for another blood test. This feels horrible :( I never imagined how hard it would be to experience a loss. I can't imagine what it feels like further along in a pregnancy.

5- woohoo for the contract, fx a bfp follows soon!!!!
Gizmo- with my third I had no symptoms, no aversions and wasn't even that tired. I kept testing for almost 2 wks because I couldn't believe I felt so good lol Don't worry, doesn't mean a thing :)
Bec - fx all is good and that you never do experience a loss let alone a later one. My loss at 13 wks was, to say the least, devastating.
32 wks, here's the belly. One with the sweater loose the other pulled in for full effect lol
