Hello.
We have 2 beautiful angels. First one is competing 3 years. The second one is just 3 weeks now. We want to try to get a boy or twin boys if possible. I'm running 32 & my husband is running 39. We will plan for next in 2 years. Need your guidance.
We are vegetarians, we don't take gelatin based medicines as well.

Hi and welcome! Let me know how I can help!Hi Atomic,
How important is excercise for DH and what type of excercise do you recommend to do at home? He's okay with daily walks.
What type of excercise for DW and is there any link we can follow for it? What's the target - weight loss or burning calories or what?
Thanks.

Edited to add - I am SO SORRY my original answer was mixed up, it was late in the day and I got interrupted in the middle and got confused! I put down the pink sway exercise insted of the blue!
Studies have shown that men who jog or bike have more daughters. We assume walking woud have the same effect, but just don't have a study proving it. So yes please do weight training for DH if at all possible.
For ladies, we like to see you guys add in weight training 30-45 min. 3-5 days a week. Then if weight gain is an issue for you, add in cardio 30-45 min. 3-5 days a week. You don't want to be exercising more than 45 min, 5 days total, so you will prob. need to pick and choose between cardio and weight training on a couple of those days.
I am SO VERY sorry you guys - every once in a while something comes up and I step away from the computer in the middle of an answer and then I make mistakes. Thanks bromedha for catching that error!!

Any cardio exercise (even walking) for 60 minutes, 4-7 days a week for DW. The target is to do it for 60 minutes straight, no stopping in the middle, no eating during it (you can eat either before or after, not both) While most of us do aim to lose at least a bit of weight, it's not the goal of exercise per se...the exercise sways on its own. Do not worry about how many cals you're burning or even think about that.Thank you atomic.
So you recommend DH to do moderate weight lifting instead walk. Pls pray that he get convince.
I'm ready to do cardio excercise 45 to 60 mins. Though we are not swaying right now I want to have all details clear and mentally be ready for next sway. Hope you dont mind for my too advance planning and asking questions. We tried Dr shettle method and got opposite result then I had lost hope. After coming across to your forum I'm feeling lucky and so much convince on whatever you says. I'm a big fan of you now. Thanks for your priceless contribution to all of us.

Yes if he's willing to do weights, that would be great!
I am here to answer all your questions! Most of us got opposites with Shettles timing! I have 4 opposites from Shettles!!
I am very sorry, I got confused when I was answering your other question. Something about it made me think you wanted a girl!! I don't know what happened there, huge apologies! For blue, no more than 45 minutes a day of exercise, 3-5 days a week.

Our supplements are
Multivitamins, folic acid, probiotic, vit D and Vegetarian DHA. Wheatgrass juice one week before ovulation. Coconut water whenever possible. Please correct me.
Are these all supplements for DH and DW?
We are planning to take these multivitamins. Are their vitamins okay?

I believe those all sound good and are for both (though diet stuff matters more for you). Not sure on current state of wheatgrass in atomic's recommendation, though I think I've seen her say recently just around ovulation is fine.
What is the vegetarian DHA based from? Is it flax? I know atomic doesn't like that for any sways!

I let people do wheatgrass juice only (not supplements if we can avoid them) either 2-3 days a week or else just one week before O if they wish to.
Yes I prefer people avoid flax, but most of the DHA vegetarin supps are now based on algae oil, I'm happy to check anyone's product to make sure they're ok.

I can't recommend the Eve brand due to the megadoses and the herbal components in them.
The second option (green bottle) is much better.

Dear Atomic,
Multivitamins, Coq 10, folic acid, probiotic, vit D and Vegetarian DHA, should we both take all these supplements every day?
How much folic acid and vit D total should we add?
You said to avoid vegetable fat. What about using peanut oil/ sesame oil for cooking?
If I strat following excercises and basic blue diet in advance 1 year will it give better result

Please don't take New Chapter. I posted this on the previous page that I don't want you on those ones.
But yes you can also take some Coq10.
Yes you take all those things daily indefinitely.
I would keep the peanut oil and sesame oil to less than however much animal fat you're getting. the most important thing is to be sure you're getting more animal fat, and then if you are getting a lot of animal fat, you can still have some vegetable fat. YOu just want less vegetable than animal fat!
We have had very few people do diet and exercise that long in advance so I can't say if it's a better result. But as long as you don't gain weight, it's fine. The HE Diet is quite healthy and should only help as long as you don't gain weight. And exercise is always good to build muscle.

Oh yes, I have noted to not take new chapter one. For both of us I will buy Dewa brand which you preferred.
As you suggested I'm going to use mostly butter and coconut oil for cooking then.
I want to reduce some weight which I gained in last pregnancy and then want to try eating He diet without weight gain till 6 weeks before ttc where I should gain some 3-5 lb weight. Want to add excercise too ASAP. Hope that sounds good.
Right now I'm breastfeeding and taking Vitamin D, calcium and B 12 supplements. Should I change to anything else or add?

I thought so but just wanted to be sure!
Yes that sounds perfect. If you like, you can lose the weight, then try to even hold steady, and if a few pounds come back on, it's not a huge deal in that case.
Yes in addition to the things you've already listed I think you're well on your way to having a great sway!

Dear atomic, our both daughters were concieved on one attempt. Almost we don't BD due to our vow on celibacy which allow BD only for baby making purpose. No wonder why we got two pink after reading your posts.
I'm thinking to start 2-4 BDing from 3 months before TTC along with diet and supplements which will break our celibacy till some extend but I'm ready to break since I'm so keen for blue [emoji29].
But I'm worried of unplanned pregnant when we do BD on CD 4 to 10. My O day will be mostly on CD 15/16/17 according to my previous notes. I'm thinking BDing 2-4 after O which will be CD 19 onwards to AF. Is that enough? Do you think I should add BDing before O any day? Because of my one attempt experience I feel I might get pregnant before O anytime BDing. And also my husband will not BD on AF bleeding time. So I have BD time only CD 19 onwards till CD 30/31/32 before AF to release inside me.
Of course actual TTC time we can BD just after AF to till Opk by following 2-4 and 3 attempts method till I concieve.
Hope you understand my situation and hope I'm not confusing you. Thank you so much for all guidance.

This is not to bump my post for a reply, but I got another question. Will wait for your reply, no hurry.
I have vitamin D deficiency and I'm breasfeeding now and thinking to breastfeed till she become 2. My DD 2 is 2 months now. We are planning TTC on 2021 July when she will become almost 2.5 years, the gap I feel ideal for my health, as well as better to handle two kids. But my DH is 39 now and 2021 he will become 41. Do you think we should plan little earlier in 2020 itself?

Oh I'm so glad you did, I think my husband shut down this thread accidentally when borrowing my computer and my reply didn't post.
Yes I'd just take care not to have any sex after CD 8 through till when you're sure you've ovulated.
There's no need to have sex during AF of course. So if this ends up that you don't have sex till after your ovulation, that's ok, do it anyway, it may still help make you more boy friendly.
I don't think your husband's age is a dealbreaker - we have many fathers of boys in that age group. I would have the spacing that is right for you and your family. :)

Sorry if I'm bothering with small small questions.
Can I substitute oats / cereals with broken wheat or you would prefer to take oats / cereals only? I could add broken wheat with full fat milk and nuts in breakfast and dinner. Whatever is better for blue sway I want to give best attempt for all things. This could be the last sway for us.
Another question, we are trying HE diet as trial now - just to see if we can get into it. Now, due to snacking we are not able to eat amount of breakfasts and lunch like regularly we used to eat since we don't feel hungry. Is this normal?

No that's fine, it's what I'm here for.
You can also have cracked wheat as you like. Cereal is fortified, and oats have the "avenocasides" in them, that may help more with your blue sway - but you can still have the cracked wheat as well. I do think that could be a very fine breakfast!
Yes it's fine to eat smaller meals. The important thing is just that you always have some food coming in. You don't want your blood sugar to crash, so by eatng regular meals and snacks (even if overall they are smaller than your average) you can be sure your blood sugar stays up.

My husband BMI is 19. I read long back from your thread it should be higher side which mean around 24. In that case he should put some 15-20 kg weight (current weight 62). That's 20% of current weight. Looks like big change but we can try if you suggest.
And mine is on higher side now like 24.5. I'm thinking of reducing now, and then increase later.
Do you recommend us to do like that?

No, I don't want your husband to gain a bunch of weight unless he also lifts weights at the same time to ensure he's gaining muscle, not fat. Gaining a bunch of fat would also sway pink and I'd rather he just stayed where he was at.
I would just have you do HE Diet principles and try to hold steady where you are. Cut back on carbs and exercise at the upper limits of exercise to keep your weight steady.

Thank you very much for the all guidance.
My husband services starts at 2.30 am, and he can only eat at 7:45 am like milk, almond and millet laddu/chikki. Then 9:00 am breakfast. Is this okay?
Will this late eating affect our blue sway?
Is there any limit for eating peanuts? We are eating lots of peanuts. Morning chikki (a sweet snack made with jaggery) with milk, then also in lunch and dinner as roasted form.

Yes that's fine for him - it is YOU who really need the breakfast.
Let's keep the peanuts to once a day. Some believe that the kind of fat in peanuts may sway pink when you eat large amounts of them.
