Hi ladies
So I'm 10 dpo and tested with frer using Fmu. I got a stark bfn.
But I really feel like I may be pregnant. My boobs are swollen, feeling very queasy past two days, heightened sense of smell, lower back ache. The nausea and a general bad taste in the mouth is usually not a pms symptom for me.

My LP is 12 days, but this is a 40 day cycle so don't know when to expect AF.

Reaching out to hear any stories of women who had BFNs at 10dpo and then a BFP later. What symptoms did you have? Did you just know or feel pregnant?

I suppose frer s are good enough to catch pregnancy at 10 Dpo, but maybe I'm just not ready to accept a bfn yet :)

ive had 8 pregnancies and have had false negatives with the majority of them!!

symptoms wise i didnt really have any this early on that i remember, mostly i was just convinced i wasnt pregnant then BAM 2 lines :) (usually around 14 dpo)

id give it a couple of days if you can and if no AF then test again, 10 dpo is early and every day without AF is a positive sign even if the tests are negative at this point.

good luck!! i hope this is your month :)

I went from negative to very positive literally overnight. I believe it was 11 or 12 dpo but the day before it was stark white. I’m pretty sure I didn’t have any real symptoms other than being emotional, which probably would have happened around that time of the month anyway. Sore bbs and nausea definitely set in, but not for a few weeks after my bfp. Good luck!!

With my 3rd pregnancy I had a bfn at 10dpo and a bfp at 12 dpo. I didn't test at 11 dpo.

Can you look at my chart and see if the temps dropping are indicative of AF? Is due tomorrow or day after.
And for all of you that had bfp's, did your temps increase steadily?

Hopefully other ladies have more helpful things... but all my months of bfn I kept looking for signs of changes in temps and watched if they would rise a tiny bit. But the month of my positive it was very different. I was looking at the tiny .4° difference up and thinking it looked great, but in reality my bfp month the temps were much higher. Other months it was 97.76 or such and that was high for me and I thought it was finally it. I was getting negatives too and at 11 dpo I realized that bfn on frer probably meant it was not happening. I know there are always others who it happened for but the month of bfp, I got bfp before 11 dpo. The frer is very sensitive. My temps were also well in the 98°

I really hope this happens soon for you. I know how frustrating it is especially when you are trying for a while. Your chart seems very clear about O, and only you know your LP days. I hope you get that bfp soon. I hope someone has something helpful for you.

Hang in there

Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using TapatalkI'm ok. So nervous. I'm nervous when my ovaries are in terrible pain and even more nervous when it stops. Im trying to stay positive but also trying to be prepared. It's a difficult place to be. Doc wont see me until 6-7 weeks. Meanwhile I'm going to go to the regular doc on Wednesday to check my numbers in the hopes that they went up.

Fx your bfp comes really soon

I've seen tons of BFN at 10 DPO that were positive at 12 DPO. Now, some of these were likely user error in that they Oed later than they thought. But enough other people even with very regular and predictable cycles have had this occur has led me to actually prefer you guys wait till 12 DPO since it helps to avoid false despair.

The only reliable symptom I've ever had before a missed period is breast pain. Not just normal breast pain, that weird kind of only-when-pregnant breast pain that some of us have experienced. Some people do have a rush of vaginal discharge before a missed period too - I had that with one of mine but not the others, unlike the breast pain which happened with every kid except the first (and I probably just don't remember!) and in fact with 3 of the 5 was the reason I took a test!

The unfortunate thing is that the progesterone and estrogen you have in that last week of the menstrual cycle can really mimic pregnancy symptoms so people get their hopes up only to be crushed. So I would not get your hopes up till looking at those lines!! FXFXFX!

You realize you're talking about tenths of a degree here, right? It is totally normal to have temps fluctuate a little bit. It's just not that common to have people have the exact same temp day after day! That is not the kind of drop that indicates AF is coming. It takes more than a tenth of a degree or even 3.

:agree: Your body raises not only progesterone but also estrogen in early pregnancy and the increases in both hormones can have unpredictable effects on temperature.
