I tried searching for other threads about it but it seems to be used mostly in boy sways. In trying to avoid meat I have been having it every day with yogurt and an apple or banana as my lunch before working out. Is every day ok? I'm not sure if there is a better option with fat and protein when avoiding meat? Are peanuts better than something like almonds when it comes to omega 3's or 6's?

Peanut butter is totally fine within limits. I ate quite a lot of it when I was swaying pink and it def. has the Omega 6 fat that may help a pink sway. Almonds are fine too though

I've actually been working on getting the blue swayers to dial it back some with the PB because of the Omega 6's.

Not peanut butter!! Swaying blue and I have been eating it with a snack most days. Should I stop? I thought I was doing good matching up a protein (peanut butter) with a carb (apple) to follow the HE diet.

Yes, I knew as I was writing that that I wasn't being thorough enough and someone would ask. This is why I often answer in such mind numbing detail is because when I don't people misunderstand my answers! Sorry for confusion!!!

Peanut butter is still good for boys. I ate massive amounts of peanut butter when I got all 4 of my boys.

95% of foods are good for BOTH pink and blue depending on how you are eating them. THe LE and HE Diets are NOT about magic foods. They are about an overall pink or blue friendly diet.

If someone is eating very little animal fat (such as vegans and vegetarians swaying blue, ESPECIALLY when they refuse to drink/eat full fat dairy foods or eat eggs because they have heard these foods sway blue) and THEN are also freebasing massive amounts of peanut butter, avocado, olive oil, and milk replacers loaded with vegetable oils, this can potentially end up being a situation of very high vegetetable fat intake and very low animal fat intake. We have some studies that indicate this could possibly sway pink. So the blue swayers I"m concerned about are the ones who are already eating scads of vegetable based fats, very little animal based or saturated fat (such as coconut oil) Not the run of the mill blue swayer who's still eating meat and butter and full fat milk. Even vegetarians and vegans can do totally fine on a blue sway eating SOME peanut butter but they just need to keep it in balance with the amount of animal or saturated (for vegans this is coconut oil and the healthy form of palm oil) instead of the Omega 6 oils that peanuts are loaded with.
