I had a 16 week gender scan yesterday which revealed that I’m having another boy. My DH has always said that he only wanted two children but after seeing how upset I am has agreed to try for a third in the future.

Here’s my question.... would another sway be more likely to work if I added in exercise? This is the one part of my sway this time that I didn’t really do.

I'm sorry the sway didn't go your way! :(

Swaying is never a guarantee, but exercise does seem to be one of the stronger elements of a girl sway. I know I exercised a ton before DD.

I'm so sorry. I know the feeling.

As TP said, swaying is never a guarantee. You could add in exercise next time and get a girl or you could do exactly what you did for this sway and get a girl. Or you could exercise and get a boy. I did LE, exercise, one attempt, coffee, alcohol for many months and still had my third boy. It's about upping your odds but it's still possible to get an opposite even with doing all the good pink sway tactics. Think of it as rolling a die. Say with swaying pink you get 4 pink sides, but still 2 are blue which means while there's a good chance of a girl, there's still a chance at another boy. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Oh daydreamer I'm so sorry it didn't go the way we were hoping. Congrats on your new son.

Exercise has been our most consistently high sway tactic that you can do yourself (Clomid/Femara are higher and more consistent but of course you can't do those on your own, u need a doc's help) I always recommend adding that in if it is at all possible.

I don't know if this is helpful but I also have my coming back after a failed sway essay here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/18466-when-sways-attack-updated-12-8-17-a.html

Thank you for your responses ladies. Atomic, your articles have helped me to realise that I shouldn’t blame myself, it was just bad luck.

I know that my son will love having a brother and I look forward to meeting my baby.

I think we will go down the high tech route. I don’t want to risk swaying not working again. Is there information on here about HT?
