Do you think it would be very helpful to use the Clearblue Easy Monitor to have extra knowledge of the estrogen surge a couple of days prior to the lh surge to bd and sway blue during this time before the lh surge? Are there any internet cheapies that monitor the estrogen/estradiol surge in a similar manner as lh surge is measured on the opk's in order to save the $199 on the CBEM?

I don't have the answer to your question, but it seems to me it's sort of unnecessary?
I'm sure you're familiar with your cycles and you know approximately when you're Oing each cycle. If you want to make it sure, start BDing every other day from the last day of AF and pin-point O with OPKs. Timing is the least important anyway.
Just my :twocents:, I mean why waste $199 if not totally necessary? LOL!

Well, I normally do know exactly when I ovulate and expect that when I get a normal cycle again post miscarriage that my charting and opk's will be fine for pinpointing ovulation. However, I wanted to hit the time period when the estradiol/estrogen surges before the lh surges as at least one study showed evidence that this timing also sways boy. Of course, I will be doing all I can with diet and will not be relying on timing completely.

I feel the evidence is strong enough for me to add timing to my sway and am just wondering if there is a way to poa-estradiol-stick that is not connected to a $199 monitor.

And at least one study showed that timing doesn't sway, too. You can find dozens if not hundreds of us on this site alone who have 1,2,3 timing opposites both pink and blue.

I would really, really not have you spend $199 on that monitor because I think internet cheapy OPK are all you need even if you DO want to include timing. Just BD 12 hours after your first OPK, easy peasy!! Save that 200 samolians for blue clothes!!

Here are some sites that sell estradiol tests (some of these are hardly cheaper than the CBFM!!)

I hesitate to post these because I do not think it's necessary for anyone to test their hormone levels and I fear that people will get carried away with them - just use your judgement and remember that sway-session (sway obsession) is not good for pink OR blue.
