Is oatmeal bad, neutral, or okay as part of a girl sway?

I think it also has some sort of testosterone raising chemical in it - double nay!

Nay for the reasons discussed above BUT if you only have it like 1 time a week (which for me is all I can stand the stuff anyway) it is ok. Have you ever seen these??

Yeah, I should have known that (about oatmeal)! I guess all day I've been thinking about oatmeal thinking how low in everything it is and completely (conveniently) forgetting all the oatmeal 'benefits', staying full longer, slow release, good for your blood sugar, etcetera.
Doh.
This diet is harder than it appears on the outside. I'd love to join the dream member section for some recipe ideas, etcetera, but can't do it this month... Christmas and all, money is tight.
*facepalm* Oatmeal, what a ditz!

Oh, and haven't heard of the stuff (probably only sold in the US) -- what's the story with it?

No story, just sold in convenient packages and microwaveable. One of the brands is artificiallly sweetened and only 100 cals per serving.

Oh, yes, I saw those ones when I went on the website. Wish we had it here.
... I love Oatmeal. Making my son oatmeal with butter, a little brown sugar, and milk the past couple days drove me crazy.
I will soldier on!

Just found the nutritional info, though. Seems a little high? Gah! Drats!

Although the bit I was looking at was with semi-skimmed/2% milk.... which I wouldn't use. Hmm... an option?

I actually think those look great IF they are not vitamin fortified.
