I was gung ho about the HE diet when I started in June to prepare for starting TTC in August but since then, I’ve backed off a little since mid-Sept. I gained 5lbs and none of my dress pants fit for my new job so I’m now loosely following it, just not quite the same calorie volume. Also been more diligent about going to the gym, even if I’m just walking on treadmill for 45 mins.
2 Questions:
1 - I take my thyroid meds as soon as I wake up. The bottle says wait 25 minutes before eating but best practice is to wait an hour before eating so they absorb completely. Is an hour OK to wait before eating in the morning?
2 - What is everyone eating as a snack at night? I am not super hungry after dinner normally unless it’s dessert. What do you think: skip PM snack or eat dessert? I’ve toyed w the idea of making some baked goods w oats & protein powder to make them a little less empty/sugary and more substantial.
