Ok so I'm cycle day 3 and I'm going to start my sway this month and I'm terrified. We have 5 children, I girl and 4 boys and with all my heart would love another girl to try to balance somewhat.
Ok I'm overwhelmed with all the info and don't know if I'm forgetting something or doing it wrong but this is what I'm thinking.
So frequent realise for dh about 10 days before one bd attempt a few days before ovulation when I see the surge on the opk.
I'm trying hard to lose weight have lost 10.5lbs so far and I'm starting to drink coffee which I never do.
Taking my folic acid and I have to take thyroid meds but terrified they are swaying blue so don't know whether to stop them till I'm pregnant. Also didn't take any supplements as not sure if they sway blue?
I normally conceive first month but I'm 39 now so I dunno.
Fingers crossed for me and any thought on it.

Please give me a couple days to reply before bumping. I answer from oldest to newest and sometimes will skip posts that look potentially long (which I did with this one, yesterday) and so when you bump it actually can end up making it take longer for me to get back to you.

How many days before ovulation?

What's your BMI??

DO NOT under any circumstances stop your thyroid medication. They do not sway blue and dropping them can make you extremely ill and is the #1 cause of non-chromosomal miscarriages. Your body cannot sustain a pregnancy with your thyroid misfiring.

None of the supplements other than folic acid and fiber have seemed to help sway pink and you can't take them with thyroid issues anyway

Many apologies Atomic,, I didn't realise. Just thought it was in the wrong area and was bumping for anyone to see.
BMI is about 33.
Was going to try about 3 days before ovulation. Was going to just give it a go about day 11.
Am I missing anything important.

No not at all, no need to apologize, I just want you guys to get your answers as fast as I can get them to you and if I didn't telll you, you'd never know.

So you normally O on CD 14?? So it's fine to start off trying CD 11 and seeing what happens.

I would consider exercise if you can.

Thanks Atomic for the reply. Would you wait for the surge on the opk or just give it one shot about day 11 if I normally have a 28 day cycle.

well, I don't believe in timing so it's very easy for me to give up on it! But I don't have to live with the outcome. If you'll live 1000 lifetimes of regret if you don't try timing for at least a month or two, then try it, but since it really doesn't work, you should give it up before adding attempts.
