I'm going to be doing the LE diet, but really only can lose 3-5 pounds as I'm already thin. However, I have no issues skipping breakfast, but I do like to snack in the evening after dinner.

I am assuming this would raise glucose and then my boys were conceived DTD at night (so shortly after eating)

I'm wondering what the latest you ladies are eating in the day and when you are planning your attempt. I'm thinking about attempting in the early am so my blood sugar will be the lowest and my anthihistames and rephresh will have kicked in...

Thoughts?

I skip breakfast and then eat two meals (lunch and dinner) about 600 cals each. then I have a treat before bed, usually some empty calories with no nutritional value at about 300 cals around 10:30 pm (so 5 hours after dinner). It's not protein, so it is quickly digested and my blood sugar drops quickly.

Like Carmella, I had 3 meals a day - lunch and dinner were my main meals and in the evening I had a treat (like sweets) for my third 'meal'. I don't think you need to overthink the time of day you DTD because if you're skipping breakfast and eating a Low Everything style diet (not snacking constantly, only eating when you're hungry etc.) then your blood sugar is always going to be low - and it's likely that once the sperm has met the egg is the important time for low blood sugar and not the moment you DTD anyway.

FWIW, our attempt was in the morning, just because it suited us better and I found it less stressful.

Thanks ladies. I think DTD in the morning will serve my stress level better too.

I wish we could dtd in the morning, but our boys are early risers, so we'd have to wake up at 4 to get the job done!

If you treat your late night snack like a meal, that's fine. So you'd eat lunch, dinner, and then bedtime snack.

It's not ideal because you'll have higher blood sugar for longer into the night but as long as you skip breakfast, that's ok. I DON'T htink that for someone who isn't skipping bfast, it is such a good idea though. Because you'd have higher BS later and then eat right when you got up - wouldn't give you much time with lower BS levels.

Antihistamines and repHresh will have kicked in?? Sorry not following you??

BD when it is convenient for you and just try to keep your BS levels low as many hours out of the day as is reasonable. I don't believe in any way that DTD at a certain time is what is getting us boys or girls. Our body conceives the baby it "thinks" has the best shot at survival and that is determined by your diet as a whole over weeks and months, not because you had sex in the morning or evening. It would be not very smart for our genes to ignore our diet every other moment and cook up a baby of the gender that did not have the best shot at survival jsut because we DTD in the morning.
