Think we messed up our attempt

So today we tried our one attempt and think we messed it up and wonder should we try again it or just leave it this month although think I have zero chance of conception.

Sorry for tmi but we bd and dh was feeling a bit under pressure and it wasn't working in missionary position for us. Does position really matter for swaying so I was on top and then to finish we tried to finish in missionary but dh finished just kinda outside. We did try to at least finish just a little bit shallow but don't know if it worked.
Plus it's only cd11 so say I have zero chance.

Should we bd again this month or wait and hope it works.

What do you mean by “kinda outside”? Was it basically pull out method?

I don't believe in or recommend shallow release since it is very low chances of conception. Like, if he finished practically outside I would not hold out much hope for BFP

I don't think that position matters but I'm concerned the outside ejac may not count as a real attempt.

What I'd do is use the rule of thumb: If you want better odds of conception, have another attempt, if you want better odds of pink, stick with the attempt you've had. But the catch here is that I think you have very, very poor chances of conception with this attempt so I would be inclined for you to go again, but you have to make the call yourself.

In my opinion, if you really want a girl then just leave it for this month. Your odds of conception might be lower due to the circumstance but may be better than trying again and fretting. From what I’ve read here, the biggest regret people seem to have is not sticking to the one attempt. But obviously it’s up to you!
