Dh & I really confused on swaying or Going HT.
So my question is , if we decide to do HT, can i still be on IG diet & all the BSF & sodium & potassium diet.

I don't know much about HT, but if you are doing HT don't they choose the required gender and then place that in the uterus so all of the swaying that the IG diet would do is done for you? You'd want to be healthy so that the embryo transferred has the best chance of implanting instead?

Yea i agree, what i was thinking is if i & Dh be on diet, will it help in favoring more male embys by any chance. (hahah i feel so dumb when asking this question)

And it's not dumb q at all!

No, do not sway and go HT at the same time. It doesn't do any good because all the things that sway, happen to the sperm and egg while INSIDE your body. The IG Diet is very bad for fertility for both the man and the woman so you would reduce your odds of successful HT while doing nothing to sway anyway.

The only way to really alter the gender ratio of the embryos you get is by doing Microsort to the sperm before you use them to fertilize your eggs.

Plus, if you are just being super healthy and fertility-friendly, that sways boy in and of itself with your DH's sperm and your egg being optimum- at least DH's sperm for sure.

that's not during IVF, but during natural swaying
but if DH is healthy it would hopefully mean that both his X and Y sperm are good and strong, he won't make any more or less than 50% of each anyway

It wouldn't matter in ivf at all? I was thinking the non-ICSI, but I guess it doesn't.

I think the point is, even IF we are wrong and diet does something appreciable to sway when going IVF, a healthy, fertility friendly diet would only help sway blue anyway.
