Does ibuprofen sway either way? I realized today I have been taking it for a few days my body is feeling a little weak I suspect from the flu shot I got, and no idea if it effects anything

It may sway pink, but it can delay or mess up ovulation. I personally take it all the time and it never delays O for me but some people do find it can cause LUFS and prevent the egg from being ovulated properly.

Really. Very interesting, had to look up LUFS. Im definitely feeling mildly flu-ish still. I seem to have woke up with a sore throat today and going to the doc but since reading your reply yesterday I switched to Tylenol for now. I dont want the risk of messing up ovulation, I hope I didnt already since I was supposed to ovulate yesterday, but didnt. (I know you told me past OPKs dont determine future ones)

I really really feel good about this being my month I hope my O comes soon because I had my attempt a day ago (strictly mechanical, hubby was totally fine with it hahaha) I was feeling a little better and he might be working the next nights and I was thinking I would ovulate yesterday. I just want to be sure I dont have another attempt so Im hoping it doesnt take too many days to show up so Im not out for the month...Kinda wish I just waited for that positive but I know there is a super good chance to concieve from a few days before too.
I was reading too that being sick may help for pink too. So hoping I catch a healthy little pink egg this month <3

Atomic, I’m in a bit of a dilemma and need your help. I just came back from my doctor and she suspects I have strep throat, she gave me antibiotic prescription and said I can start it. I asked if I can be tested first to be positive I have strep before I start the antibiotic since I am ttc. She said she thinks it is what I have and it would be safe to take the antibiotic but if I would like to wait to see the results I can do so. It takes up to 72 hours. I know last year I had similar white spots on my tonsils but tested negative for strep and it went away.

I got home and tested my ovulation and it looks like it hasn’t been getting any darker (I test late morning and night) I’m scared my sickness could delay ovulation and now I already had my attempt, and now I have the added dilemma of whether or not to just take the antibiotic which I hear can sway blue, or wait 3 days for the results and end up not ovulating anyways because my sickness and have to take the antibiotics anyways. So frustrated about this right now �� Can me being sick stop ovulation all together? wish I would have ovulated already I would feel better about taking the antibiotics if it was after I had my chance. Can you help me out? Pain wise I can deal with waiting a few days its not so bad Im hoping if I do so I will already have ovulated toobut then I read about horror stories online about untreated strep and scared to do that now

If you go 4 more days and think you're Oing, have another attempt. That doesn't count for two attempts becuase you're so far from the previous one there will be nohting left.

Antibiotics don't sway blue. I know they say that but I have never seen one scrap of reliable evidence that this is the case.

But again, just to reiterate if it is 4 or more days after your prev. attempt, then attempt again and that is STILL one attempt.

I would just take the antibiotic because yes you don't want to play around with strep if you have it!
