Hi my friend. Just to let you know last month didnt work either :(

Then i would have and appoiment to make an ultrasound ig this new month dont work either to see if all ok. I guess because clomid to check my ovaries if are ok.
Then of ok said would tried one more month with clomid (that wpuld be 5th month with clomid) but taking more pills. Up to this cycle i habe to take one pill a day till day5th till 9th of cycle
That last month we would try 2 pills a day tfrom 5th till 9th of cycle.
And told me that the most he can do :( i guess of this two mo th dont work he will suggest to attebd again an infertility centre :( and i guess my heath service dont cover ot any more all treatments. Im a bit sad. Hope this month work. I think im ovulating ok because my temperatures rises and opk shows positve but my cycles went loger and i ovulate later than before medication.

Let's try to take the pills on CD 3-7 instead. I feel like we have seen better odds of conception with Clomid on those days.
It is normal for Clomid to change your ovulation, so that is ok.
I do still want you to try even in months off of Clomid!
Please let me know how else we can help.

Oh! Thank you so much my dear friend! Didnt know that medication can be taken those days. I wrote my post when was about to start taking, today was my 5th day of the cycle and started taking it. So i guess is late for me to start on 3rd :( i wished i had written earlier. Was a bit sad because of my negative. It would really help me to make my periods no so longer. Shorter than before. Didnt know so next month i will take them before. The days you told me. So yo be able to ovulate earlier and make my periods shorter! Thank you so much for your help. O will keep ypu updated. This month i will take your suggestions as last month. As i already started with clomid cant help it but i will keep my 4 days attemps and one more before ovulation. And doing opk since 11th. I guess i will get my positive on 13th and will ovulate on 15th as it seams happened last 3 months. Thank you for your advice and i will write again. Hugs for you!

Yes we did talk about Clomid before. It's not my choice for a 43 year old but many have still taken it. Letrozole would be better but it didn't sound like you could get that.
Clomid doesn't always make you ovulate sooner so don't count on that happening - even if you take the medicine sooner. But it does seem to be better chances of conceiving!

It makes people release an egg, but that doesn't mean the egg is going to be a good egg, unfortunately. Clomid causes FSH levels to go up and this can make egg quality decline. Since women over 40 already have lower egg quality it may not be the best choice for you but it's done now, so we'll hope that you are in the group of people who have success with it.
