Just got my pos OPK last night and peak on CBFM this morning, today of all days! A baby girl would be the BEST Christmas pressie I could ever want... but it also means that now I'm wondering whether I ought to:
1- properly enjoy my Christmas dinner, perhaps I should go easy?
2- drink the glass of rose wine I've been looking forwards to - I've barely drunk in 2 years with being pregnant and BF, but doesn't alcohol sway blue?

we'll be attempting later on this afternoon after that meal, perhaps again tomorrow morning too or until I get my thermal shift

Merry Christmas!!!http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/pozitive/s0819.gif (http://yoursmiles.org/s-pozitive.php) Imho, enjoy your Christmas dinner, I seriously doubt one day can make any difference. Unfortunately LOL!
Idk about alcohol, I think there was a thread about it and general conclusion was it sways pink? Not sure though.... I never ever drink any alcohol and my gender results are listed below

I agree, and I also cheated yesterday, but the key was to keep the calories low! I ate a very tiny lunch and just ate dinner and that was it...I went to bed hungry but just had a tiny glass of milk to tie me over, and I think I started to O late last night going into today....yesterday was our when we celebrated Christmas with his family, today we go to my mom's house, but she is a lousy cook and I have never eaten her dinners very well, I always pick at them, so lucky me :)

If your diet has been good every day, I think 1 cheat day is OK as long as you try to keep the calories in reign...if possible?

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

rainbow - I'm dealing with a similar situation, though I *think* I might have O'd around midnight last night. When I wasn't sure whether or not O would come on Christmas, my plan was to eat as little as possible throughout the day then enjoy a nice cheat meal for Christmas dinner. I'll just take a small serving of turkey and try to fill up on less proteiny things.

Well I think the people who diet without swaying and have girls have a few days each cycle where Im sure they cheat and eat boy friendly food. My sil eats the same as me at family gatherings and still has 2 girls so going on that I hope the body just remembers the typical diet. On the friday before ovulation I had low blood sugars all day but then burger and chips and evening meal and cheated on the Saturday before O too so I hope it doesnt matter too much. Good luck ladies!

I have to confess I decided to enjoy myself anyway, including 2 small glasses of wine :) going to closely watch what I eat for the next 24hrs so it will average out

still no temp rise this morning, but it is following my usual pattern so OV will probably be today now

Mocha and Deaks - we could be due date buddies too ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed some yummy stuff, rainbow. I wish I could have had some wine, but I was 1dpo yesterday, so I had to avoid it :(. I regularly drink wine as part of my sway, btw. It's apparently very acidifying.

well, acidifying is good ;)

is it safe to take antihistamines with alcohol, do you know? (not at exactly the same time, but a few hours later)

I never thought about that. I've definitely taken antihistamines within a few hours of having a drink and didn't notice any bad effects....

That's exactly what I would have told you to do - enjoy and then TTC because it's the overall pattern of diet that counts and not any one meal or day.

It's ok to take antihistamine and alcohol on the same day but just be sure it's been a good 6 hours after!!
