Hi there ladies,

Just needing some advise on whether I should add vitex to my sway?

Prior to conceiving DS2, I was seeing a naturopath who prescribed vitex1g, cal/mag, EPA/DHA fish oil, prenatals, VitD, B6 and 12.

Now I know from reading threads here that some of these sway boy so I won't be including them in my sway. I know that vitex sways girl but I'm unsure whether to include it as I conceived DS2 with them. I realise that it's not just the vitex that would have been the reason, but because it is part of the combination of things that I did I'm now not sure whether to put it into my sway, so that is why I'm calling on your help.

Just abit of background, I have a very boy friendly diet so does DH, which obviously will need to change. My PH is low btw 4.5 and 5.5 around ovulation, where DH is quite high.
I've also just stopped breastfeeding DS2 (he is 14 months) and since then my periods (which have been quite regular between 28-30 days, I got her back when he was 4 months) have been out of whack (26 days). So I feel like I need to take something to regulate her again.

I want to start diet, supps etc start of Jan for our first attempt start of March, I'm 37 and DH is 41, gotta make a move on this baby making business ;-)

Hope all this makes sense.

Thanks for your help.

I would take it - I chose too even though I had regular cycles.

Hi and welcome if I haven't said so already, Cherry!

I would def. take the vitex. I also conceived a boy while taking it but I also was taking prenatal, DHA, Vit D, cal/mag, and B6.

Something to keep in mind is that when swaying pink, you WANT your AF cycle to be a little wacky. That is probably what sways in some way - regular, predictable cycles tend to indicate you're more boy friendly (tho you can conceive a girl with reg cycles) and oddball, short-or-long cycles tend to indicate you're more girl friendly (tho you can conceive a boy with irregular cycles)

Thanks for that ladies, think I'll continue taking it. I don't want to have odd ball cycles cause that stresses me out and last time around before the vitex to regulate and bring my ovulation earlier it took us one year to conceive DS2. As soon as I started vitex, bam and I fell pregnant.

Hope your having a lovely new year night :-)
