Pink swayed here.... hoping for a second successful pink sway.... just had ovulation and one attempt so now awaiting AF. Just come off bcp so no idea what’s going on really with my cycle but I had all the signs of ovulation (I don’t think my opks were reliable) so not sure I ovulated or not, spoke to my doctor who said he thought i was ovulating as had awful pains and symptoms of ovulation after so long on bcp. Anyway, waiting for first proper AF to show (if we haven’t conceived) then I’ll be able to track ovulation properly next month x good luck to all x

Im 8DPO today and have been having cramps for the past 3 days.. they feel lile period cramps but not quiet the same bit hard to explain somwtimes feels like a stich pain sometimes lile a pulling sensation. Not sure what it is really, for some reason i feel like this month is not our month...

Hi everyone! Currently 3-4dpo, not 100% certain. I don't temp, just use opks, an app and ovulation pain every month. I will be surprised if I get a bfp as we ended up with a 4 day cut off.

So while I’m tww I was involved in a car accident today it spun my entire car around went to hospital and they gave me a hcg test it was negative so now I’m worried what if the accident affected implantation? They gave me X-rays what if that did something I wanted to refuse but I was in so much pain I had to! Now if I’m not pregnant I’m gonna always think what if the accident did something? This is so upsetting my confirmed O day was Nov 30 so I’m only 5 or 6 days out but now :worry:

So glad you're ok! Even at the cellular level, I feel like babies are so incredibly resilient... maybe ask atomic, but if the wreck cause you to not implant I feel like you would be starting a period early?

Think we have the same ttc & sway agenda - my next period would be 12/13 and if it doesn't come I am going to start taking pregnancy tests

I don't know how serious the accident was, but I think if it hadn't implanted yet, then it would probably be fine. Maybe if you were in the first few weeks after implantation it might be more concerning. Please don't take my word for it, but try not to worry too much.

Confirmed O on CD 17 (11/30) and Ava bracelet confirmed biphasic pattern detected this morning - so even with weird temp drop after BD on O day and BD on DPO2 I am hoping to stick the blue sway this month!! :bluecheer:

Haha! As I mentioned in my my last post I had only been doing LE more strictly since the beginning of October, so it had been 9 weeks, but I'm nervous because it wasn't at least 12. Lol. Did you do everything you should have been to sway?

Also, anybody tested recently?!

Just take it you wernt pregnant hun as think of all those mothers that take drugs drink heavily smoke through pregnancy and go onto have babies, if you are pregnant its all safe in your tummy and tucked away so nothing you did you had to take the meds after your accident and have an xray. Xrays are sooo low dose nowadays try not to worry

Do you have any daughters? If so, did you somewhat eat differently to when you conceived then and did you do the shettles method when you conceived them? Even if unintentionally. Maybe it worked and even raising your regular calorie intake could hel at least boost your odds.

Canada - yep, we have one DD! If it helps you, I have a pretty good idea of when we conceived her...

May 2017: we left on a Thursday night for our honeymoon and BD that night then every day after. I was supposed to ovulate the following Tuesday. I know all this in hindsight because we weren't trying at all for a baby and I didn't even know about swaying back so no Shettles

Two weeks later I had a positive PT and we found out it was a girl at 11 weeks w/ blood tests

For me, BD before ovulation seemed to be a bigger factor in getting DD than BD'ing throughout ovulation (which you would assume would give you a DS). My 10 day honeymoon I was the least stressed I've ever been, and was coming off a LE diet typical of most brides before their wedding

Thanks for the information! We have two girls and two boys. Girl, boy, boy, girl. We weren't swaying for any of them, but now I think back to my eating habits at the time we would have conceived, it was kind of HE or LE. But your experience does help because it pretty much confirms the whole swaying ideas. I know it doesnt work everytime, but it's good to know that it can.

Thanks Mariola! When we conceived DD, PT's showed positive 9 days after my LMP. Which means I could potentially find out about our #2 right before all the holiday parties. Bittersweet timing!

Looks like a chemical [emoji22] heading to the drs this morning for a blood test to confirm but I’m not optimistic. AF is due today but I expect now that will be late and won’t get it until my hormones rebalance?

Oh THAT is what FRER means! I'm no expert but always thought the rule was "you can't detect something that isn't there"? Are you dipping it in a cup? Maybe more sample would help?

Yep, you’re right in that you can’t detect something that isn’t there but if it was a viable pregnancy the hcg would be increasing every 24hrs and it’s definitely not so that suggests a chemical pregnancy.

I was wildly optimistic about getting pregnant until we actually started TTC haha!

My neg PT was 8 days DPO but I just got a notification from my Ava bracelet saying "based on your previous cycles, Ava predicted your period to come in 3 days" :(

Longest 2WW ever!! I think I ov'd on Friday 11/30 so could get a +PT on Friday 12/14 but am tempted to wait until after Friday 12/21 because of how long it took to get +PT for DD in May 2017 (9days after LMP)

...on another note, am I the only crazy person who researches gender disappointment coping methods before even finding out if they're pg let alone if the sway was successful?

Not sure whether we keep TTC (not full on swaying, it’s too exhausting) over Xmas thru New Year or wait until we get back from our big holiday in March. My thought process was that if we got preg between Dec and Feb I’d be in the first trimester and likely have morning sickness again. I didn’t want to be flying and travelling around a lot with ms and have it ruin the holiday.

I know that each pregnancy is different and for all I know I could still be sick well into the second trimester (or also not sick at all!) so there’s no way of knowing.

Now I’m just so keen to get pg that I kind of don’t care and want to keep trying, but I know I’m not being rational... What would you do?

I have been on a sodium bender!!! Will be shocked if I'm not pg but then again, my PMS symptoms right before AF always include me being a garbage disposal for crisps lol

How hard have you been swaying blue? I was strictly Shettles method (abstinence, baking soda douche, tracking CM/BBT to pinpoint O-day, etc) until I found this website the morning after we BD'd (then BD's again the following day, so O-day then O2)

So I'm hoping my lack of intentional blue diet-ing won't hurt my sway but would be reassured if there are any boy moms out there who didn't eat HE diet?

Since last Saturday's PT was negative, think I'm going to force myself to wait until after my holiday party on 12/21 an test first thing 12/22 morning. Not that I advocate drinking while pregnant, but I will obsess over having a glass of wine at the party if I KNOW I'm pregnant vs. being able to enjoy one glass of wine in ignorant bliss

Omg we really are the exact same, except it sounds like you swayed harder/better. I feel terrible your car wreck has added extra anxiety on top of it all! Poor thing. Try not to think too much about it, I am a believer that women's bodies endure all kinds of environmental stress (wars, drought, famine, domestic abuse) with the goal of maintaining a pregnancy. Motherhood in a nutshell: sacrifice everything including your body for the good of the baby

I also felt cramping Monday 12/3 (3DPO) and thought "is this ov cramps?" but I *hope* it was a fluke. Atomic said my Clearblue Advanced digital PEAK reading on Thursday 11/29 night could have been my body gearing up to ovulate and then not (because of my 2-day temp drop Sat/Sun before a rise Mon morning, followed by the weird cramps). Had loads of Clearblue test sticks so actually started OPK testing 11/20 and had LOW all the way to 11/29 when it jumped straight to peak. Sorry for this dumb question, I'm a sway rookie but... when you say hard sway since August but two failed attempts, does that mean you tried during 2 cycles and then got AF?

When did you BD the weekend of the 11/30 around ov? We BD 11/30 & 12/2 & 12/8 but wish I would've done a lot more around 11/30 & 12/1... ugh! But I did read an Atomic post somewhere that said there have been blue sways with even 2 BD attempts

For boy i would continue unprotected bd in the 2ww. Also keep the excersize. Most likely you will not get a bfp in the first month ttc.

At least that is what i would do.. you can always do a bit less, the three previous months overwrite whatever you do in the tww.

Yes keep up diet, exercise, and BD every 2-4 days during the 2ww. After ovulation is a good time to get exposure to the hormones in your husband's semen for future months. Don't worry about it messing up implantation, those of us with all boys always DTD in the 2ww and most women have a surge of libido around 7 DPO (right when babies are implanting) and so it's very unlikely that has any significant negative effect.

I meant failed at 3 attempts of bd during peak fertile window. I bd the 25th 29th 30th and 1st but O day was the 30th. Yes I have eaten more sodium than usual as part of my blue sway and didn’t even realize that the nesting is right on I have been cleaning out purses deleting apps and pictures. I told my husband although I’m not feeling like af is coming I also don’t feel like a bfp is coming either. I have had no patience the last few days so I guess I could call it pms but even with that no extreme chocolate cravings like usual and I haven’t gotten the acne. It could all be explained with other things but I’m not sure. my cycles are irregular which does nothing for expecting it lately it’s been around 31- 35 days but this year I have experienced up to 62 days. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS but I think I do have it. That’s why I got ovusense to confirm O. It’s so crazy I just think if the sperm is supposed to meet the egg and you bd around ovulation when the egg is there how do you not get pregnant?

I have 2 girls, 4 and 2 years old, and both are conceived with one attempt and about 10+days abstaining.

Last month i had just one day positive opk, i should try than, this now is so confusing and frustrating.

Alliwantisblue, that sounds like a great boy sway! I started to doubt EVERYTHING after O!! Twogirls, you sound a lot like me! Two girls, 4 and 15 mo. The 15 mo old was conceived with a 1 attempt and 4 day abstain prior to. I was living out of town for school for DD1 so we weren’t every 2-4 dayers. We had abstained for about two weeks prior to me coming home just in time for O. Makes so much sense now. Fingers crossed you get a bfp for Christmas and hear blue after that!

Well, I’m out this month. Took a test today, 14 dpo, and bfn. I’m bummed but it’s ok. If I’d gotten a bfp, the baby would be due around dd2 birthday. And, hey, one more month on HE diet probably won’t be bad for my blue sway. I just wonder where AF is. I usually have an 11 day luteal phase. Maybe my luteal phase is getting longer due to being healthier and more fertile? That can’t be bad either! Congratulations to all who’ve gotten there bfp this month! Yes! Silver lining, if you get a bfn I will be here waiting for you :) Honestly I'm kind of relieved to have another shot at a better harder blue sway. I was 100% Shettles method 2 weeks ago. Now I know about HE dieting. Going home for the holidays and my mom will undoubtedly overfeed me, I'll get loads of rest (free babysitting for DD woohoo!), and be drinking red wine probably daily

My new timeline is to keep monitoring BBT/CM after this AF, then start OPK testing around 12/17 - Ava bracelet predicts next O-day is 12/29. Hopefully the holiday travel won't throw me off too badly. Thinking we'll BD at least twice a day 12/29-1/3

9 dpo is early so I am excited to watch your lines get darker and darker. I am good. I am 18dpo and got my BFP at 14dpo but still doesn’t seem real. I won’t go to doctor till 8 weeks so long wait to see what my body does.

Haha. I tested with two FRER on 14dpo and then a cheap 99cent store test at 18 dpo just for fun but that is it. My test line is as dark as it can get so no need to keep testing for me. Hope your lines get darker. Are you using first response or internet cheapies?

I’m using everything lol. I’ve got cheapies but they are barely there lines so have been using frers. Also had a go with clear blue too [emoji23] So pleased for you that your lines are super dark, that’s really reassuring.

I don’t know what’s going on with me, I’m still testing and my lines are still not dark and I’m 15dpo now. I’m going to try and ask the doctor for betas but as you remember from last time, it’s a battle getting them! I can have an early scan at 6 weeks but it means going through Christmas in limbo which is stressing me out. On the plus side, no spotting ( and every other time I did have) and my temp is very high. I know I should stop temping but I’m too much of a control freak [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Congratulations! Are you absolutely certain of dpo? If you implanted late it would make sense why it is lighter. Keep testing every few days and share the pics with us. Yeah.

I might have implanted late since I got past two days cramps..I was thinking PMS and couldn't tolerate the suspense and checked it first today morning... Mummy2boys looks ok'ish to me but I'm not at all sold on judging a pregnancy by hpt progression. So glad your doc is willing to do 48 hour betas as yes I do remember how hard it is for you to get bw. It will give you a no question answer and I am hoping with every fibre of my being that this is your sticky rainbow. AF is officially done with me and I'm back in business!! Home for the holidays & intentionally/unintentionally on a HE diet. Going to start tracking OPK sticks tomorrow and have been wearing Ava bracelet religiously.

Fx Mummy! If you implanted a day or two later than you think, that could also explain the not so high number...a BHCG number doesn’t mean much in isolation, you need the second draw.s result to determine if the cinetic (evolution) is good. FX so hard!!!!

I'll wait some more time for that BFP... They say first morning sample is always better.. But didn't expect this much difference..

I personally like waiting so I know for sure that it isn’t too soon and whatever true test shows is real but lots of ladies test early and just have to know it might be too soon to be accurate. Good luck.

I don’t understand what you mean about “dark but not same as control line”? Are you testing for ovulation or pregnancy? Ovulation they need to be the same darkness but pregnancy any second line is positive regardless of darkness.???

Of course there is always a risk of losing the pregnancy but I don’t think your pregnancy test can predict if you will miscarry.

I am really surprised they would even check so soon. Could it just be too early? My doc won’t do an US till 8 weeks.

Thanks everyone, I know it’s early but everything I’ve read says the sac should be much bigger. Mine is 2 mm which is consistent with a 4 week pregnancy and I should be 5 and a half at least. I have another blood test on Wednesday to see if hcg is doubling, it was 2109 yesterday. The waiting and limbo is the worst [emoji17]

Hi everyone, I'm also wondering if this is the place to chat about our January 2WW?

This is my first month swaying. I have one gorgeous little baby boy, 21 months, and am TTC pink this time around. I've been on the LE diet for 12 weeks and run / hike for an hour a day. BD 2 days ago and ovulated last night (I could feel the cramping). Excited to be in the TTC game again! Amazing how you go from desperately not wanting to get pregnant to desperately wanting a baby in your belly ASAP!
