Hello all
I am a haemophilia carrier which means I have a one in four chance of my baby having the hereditary disease, haemophilia. However, girls cannot get the disease, only boys (with a boy, it's 50/50). I am fortunate enough to have an unaffected boy who is now 3, however do not want to take the chance on our second.
I am currently educating myself on IVF PGD and gender selection, which is legal in the UK under tight circumstances. I understand that our circumstance is legal, however not funded on the NHS as we already have a healthy child.
Anyone experience with IVF gender selection in the UK or abroad?
Look forward to speaking with anyone else going through the same dilemma x
