yep another supposedly symptom..shattered and off to bed at half past 9!!!!this is someone who goes to sleep at 2am....the Pre AF 2ww is a cruel joke on us women who are TTC!!!!!

During my 2WW, I went out to see a movie with DH - a very rare event for us because we don't have babysitters - and I SLEPT through the whole thing! Two days later I got my BFP :bigsmile:.

AF showed her face last night, so woohoo CD1! instead of being upset i am thankful that my body just pumped out a perfect little 29 day cycle after not having one for MANY MANY years when i was either preggo or on mirena. Best wishes for all of us who saw AF or BFN's that we preggo our eggo's next month!

11dpo today....had a bowl of bran flakes last night as i have been scoffing alot of sweet patatoes and stogy things lately and felt a bit bloated and seem to have gained around my middle. this does tend to happen just before AF usually but there is no sign of her feeling wise or anything as of yet. so i thought better eat something to detox. and detox i did....i had the runs this morning. lol....feeling lighter this morning i decided to hold back and not test. i had some twinges alst night very slight..i have mild ms this morning but i will not read into anything now until i see a BFP. i should be due anytime between sat-tue if i am on cue...since i am so pessimisting that i could still be indeed PG i will not stress myslef out for it so will just wait...its hard but i have wasted so many HPT tests it not even a joke anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!...i could buy myself a bloody car at this rate!!!!
FX to everyone waiting with me!!!!lots of baby dust and an extra blue for those wanting little prices..and send lots of baby pink my way please!!!!!!!!!

ps: and just for the symptoms's obssession sake...here are my current symptoms up to date for each dpo.

1dpo - strong cramps, twinges and sore uterus cm clear, FMU very cloudy,constiapted
2dpo - cramps not as bad as 1dpo but still strong, uterus not too bad today, constipated, feeling tired and lethargic. no cm some sticky yelow one on panties. so BD to try O+12., FMU still cloudy, constipated
3dpo - VERY tired very tearful very emotional (just broke up with my best friend), FMU flouroscent yellow
4dpo - VERY tired still, still emotional , cramping now a dull ache and back ache, feeling the need to urinate alot
5dpo - Still tired need cat naps, no cm only on tp clear and watery, some ms during the day better at night.
6dpo - boobs are beginning to twinge and feel slightly bigger, stil tired yawning all the time, no energy, no cm at all, BFN on ultra sensitive HPT,FMU dark yellow, but feeling strong instinct that i am pregnant
7dpo - boobs quite tingly, tried still very unual for me to feel so lethargic, a bit short tempered, no cm onlu on tp. slight dull O like twinges on sides but so mild i just have to focus on it to make note of it. slight MS during the day
8dpo - boobs tingling and nipples beginning to feel sensitive and achy, still very tired, slight ms, headaches and getting up early,BFN
9dpo - boobs still twinging and tingling, slight twinges and very very dull AF cramps on and off, up until 8dpo felt very much PG and all symtpoms, today it is easing off...BFN on FRER so not so confidant, false positive BFP very faint and off centre on sainsbury's test, but still very tired, waking up with headaches early morning, dull AF type aches but really very very mild.
10dpo - hungry all day, slight MS after eating, tired all day, pee is a pale yellow, no other major symptoms just twinges at night in centre of uterus. main symptom boobs have a strong senstaion of MILK let down.
TODAY 11 DPO, runny stools, pee pale yellow, boobs sticking out of top of bra now, swollen glands, cold sore on lip this morning, mild MS even now so need to eat, lethargic and tired, and very very dull AF type aches not cramps..so maybe AF is heading my way???

will wiat until 14/15dpo then test or just wait for AF to show up.

11dpo pm...after my BFN...checked my cervix and found my cm got slight brown mucous on it..cp risen now and closed...on the way to my daughters ballet class in the car i had AF type cramps....so am thinkg AF is gearing up to come.....in my daughter's ballet class i fell asleep (my usual cat nap) and then as i woke i had some really strong twinges right in the centre of my uterous and under my belly button!!! they were distinctive like to what i got with my daughter and then ended up testing the next day and found a bfp at 10dpo....now i am hoping this was implantation too....if it is its pretty late...

well all will be revealed...but i am almost out...just have to sit tight and see.....i have no feeling of AF at all..but if these cramp continue then maybe that is what it is.???

2-4 days to go...

pss: just felt wet in my undy and had dollop of brown stringy pink mucous....yep this could be AF on its way...crampigg is ver llight and comes and goes.....now unless i got my dpo wrong i may be 9dpo, 10dpo or 11 dpo...because i am counting O from the day my OPK turned negative and cm was runny. i never realy had EWCM and i if i did i had do little of it i couldn;t judge it becasue of the BD on day of +opk and 2 days after.
so the best bet for me is approximately 10/11dpo. this is horrible it could implantaion spotting or pre af!!!how cruel is my body????

So, it looks like we still have Bumblebee, Ladybug, TooManyBoys, and myself in the running for testing. LolaInLove, that's a good way to look at it!

TooManyBoys 84% of implantation happens in days 8-10 dpo, with the other 16% implanting on day 6, 7, 11, or 12 after ovulation... so what you felt COULD have been implantation on only day 10-11. The thing is that high progesterone from PMS and high progesterone from pregnancy have many of the same symptoms before BFP or FLO, so analyzing symptoms doesn't really seem to help, UGH!

I tested today @ 10dpo with a FRER (First Response Early Results) and I totally swear that I saw a verrry faint line. I even carried the test with me to the store, parking lot, etc, to squint and stare at the line in different lights, LOL. It is MADNESS I tell ya. I'm hoping for a more definitive answer in the next few days. My period isn't due till Sunday, but I'd love if she skipped me and went to Hawaii instead. :)

Hi girls , Can I please join your 2ww..... I Think I ovulated yesterday so i am 1dpo today..

My attempt was d/h F/R for 21 days straight with a few days of twice a day and one with 3 times a day.. We dtd only once on my first + opk. D/h had a real hot bath for about 20 mins before our attempt, I used Rehpresh every 3 days from af and i used only a 1/4 of Rephresh 24 hrs before attempt. I have been on a diet of eating hardly anything for a month but before that LE diet for about 2 months. I have been taking Vitex, Saw Palmetto, Cartia and I have been through soooo much equal!! I hope I have done enough and I hope to get a BFP I found it very hard getting d/h to do F/R he is not a usual f/r er so it was tough on us both... FX for all of us to get a BFP this Month!!

@pink3rpomise....lol....hats is hillarious,....but totally normal..i have done that many times ven kept it with me whilst doing my shopping....LOL...what are we like....well am 11/12dpo today..had more spotting yesterday evening..no more cramps...BUT...i think this is pre AF just stalled. i had this before.....
this morning i put on a pad.....i dont have a 'flow' as such but BFN's and this spoting on cue for AF just confirms to me that i am out....yep PCOS is a cruel joke!!!!..

fx for all you ladies...should i be a miracle case and come back in a week to tell you i got BFP and this was just implantation...then that would be fab....but i doubt it very much i should be so lucky.....well it confirms one thing...i can only try the girl diet....i wont be jumping and umping anymore though and i feel need to BD right through O as it looks like it will be very hard or unlikely to fall PG at like this.....

Hey ladies good news I got my BFP this morning! went out and got another test and peed in a cup this time!! :rofl: lol after that clearblue fiasco!! I think my period was actually due yesterday and in the afternoon I was soo tired and thought I was having PMS symptoms so I napped for a bit to sleep it off maybe that was the point where the HCG bit kicked in because before that I was testing negative. Another thing I noticed which I thought if I did get pregnant I'd mention is the area around my nipples had gone a bit dark but you know those white spots you get around the nipple when you breastfeed the appeared like a few days after my ovulation....ahhh just got the name for it off the net....Montgomery glands??. So if anyone notices this on their nipples it could be a early sign of pregnancy!! :) other than that I had no real symptoms tbh. The very best of luck to those still waiting to test - big hugs to you and I hope you all get BFP's really soon!

Bumblebee, huge congrats!! And yes, that was one of my signs right before my BFP was much darker nipples (sorry for TMI!) They were darker but had little white spots on them...and I thought...Hmmm? It was one of my first signs that was definitely non AF-ish!

thanks hun I have my fingers and toes crossed for you too! I hope you get your BFP soon!! yes I tested day before yesterday and that was totally negative and then yesterday I had sudden what I thought were PMS symptoms and really bad fatigue and dizziness so I took a nap then tested last night but it didn't work so tested again this morning and it was positive.

well i am not going to test now until my stalled AF begins to flow or stop. i am really confused now how do i know which cd i am. i don't have a fLow. my spotting is like a very light period. the blood (sorry tmi) is kind of concentrated and dark reddish/brown. but its not flowing out of me if you know what i mean...when i pee and wipe myself obviousy the tp has red blood on it....i have had twinges and pinching kind of feeling all day behind my belly button and let down feling in my breasts so if anything implantation is just being unsuccessful maybe?....

quite defplated now....but life goes on and so does TTC...its now or never for me....

The second line on every single FRER hpt that I take is still suuuuuper faint so I don't know if I'm seeing things or not. Uggggggggh! Let's hope I have a darker line tomorrow.

13dpo...used First Response Pregnancy test with FMU and it is a BFN!!!!!!:(

i think i am OUT for sure now...my AF is slow and stalled and really concentrated no AF cramps at all not really flowing but nevertheless it is there. it is a very stalled light flow. i still have all the symptoms but i think this is to do with the AF itself? it it the frist time i used clomid and i O on my own but i thought it would help with making my Progestrone stonger, will make stronger eggs, so make me concieve quite easily, why else will the doc prescribe it?
i was on cue with eveything. took it at 5-9 days, O on day 14, Bd on before on +OPK and again 2 days later. really would have thought i would concieve. oh well...i knew no cm was not a good sign!!!!!!!

just got to get on with it...a bit concerned to take clomid again now.....the headaches are not nice at all.:(.....hopefully will see you all in 2 weeks!!!!...happy&healthy 2ww to ya all!!!!!!!!

So, I'm now in the 2WW wait again!! I had +opk yesterday afternoon, so we DTD last night (which was a 60 hr. abstain for husband) and I woke up with O pains in the middle of the night that turned to VERY BAD stabbing O pains this morning for about 15 min. then they died down again. The opk control line was slightly darker this morning so not sure whether to call that + or -, so hoping the sharp pains were in fact O! So, I'm technically not even 1dpo until tomorrow morning! THis is going to be a LONG wait!!!

Anyway, I'm 12dpo and starting to lose hope a bit - I've had a suuuper faint line on every FRER, but the line has NOT become darker in 2.5 days now, which it should. I am worried that it is a chemical pregnancy or something, but I guess only time will tell. I am not due for my period until Sunday or Monday, depending on my luteal phase. UGH, I had been holding it together so well, until I crumpled under all the pressure and absolute LIMBO this morning. Thankfully my best friend let me call her crying about this and I feel much better.

14dpo today....spotting slowly and stalled dark red blood since 12dpo...and this morning still slow but definately there....AF has announced her arrival...for sure.....no baby can implant like this....so would say i am on cd3 TODAY. can any of you with lots of pink advice me what to do this week. will be on 100mg clomid from cd3-cd8.

will try and eat lots of dairy and drink milk all this week and next. will keep my meat intake low....please any more dietry advice would be really good. will BD next weekend, then the weekend after..so whenevr DH os available...he is away during the week. will try and keep all DH contribution. i know clomid made my cm very dry so have no idea how to change that.

everyone else and new n the 2ww....sending you all baby dust.....and those with bfp's many congrats.....also those with dodgy bfp's keep staying positive hcg can rise slowly and hpt's do not neccessarily indicate by how much as the concentration of the chemical in the line can vary from test to test. what may appear not have gotten darker does not mean it hasn't risen in concentration. i would go to th docs and get a blood test done..thats the only way to tell....

I'm thinking there wouldn't be enough prog in your system to show a temp rise a few hours later thd next morning so the thermal shift wouldn't be seen until the following day at 2 DPO this could lead to confusion about O day as many believe it's the day of the thermal shift.which I know isn't always the case.i know it seems like I've just answered my own question but would just like other views on this.I'm going to post in the TTC forum too.GL everyone.hoping this 2ww bring lots of BFPs :fx:

TTC..do test! I had no idea gums bleeding was a sign! My gums have kind of been irritated and i have had some pink when I brush as well.. though I think in my case a dental visit is due!:p

I have been a bit awol lately as did not attempt in December so tried to give my head a bit of a swaying break!

I am however back in the game this month and will O in about a week. AF is on her way out today then we will be DTD next weekend! Thinking of DTD friday night, DH releasing saturday am, DTD saturday night, etc until I am sure O has happened.

I have been on this diet etc since September so I am really done with it now and just want to be pregnant. (ideally with a girl but I do make really good looking boys!)

TTC5, I always have bleeding gums in early pregnancy, something to do with blood vessels???? TEST and I will keep everything crossed for you. You can even have all of my blue dust thrown in!

i always get bleeding gums. in fact i just brushed my teeth and my gums are bleeding right now. but the earliest i ever got a bfp was 11dpo. im usually around 15-17dpo when i get a faint line. so if you get a negative don't assume you are out this month. good luck

17dpo and i had twins. bfn everyday until i saw a super faint line... 11dpo is considered early, i know most ladies will start testing at like 7dpo and im sorry but they are crazy i've only known a handful of gals who got lines that early. sometimes you don't even implant until 11 or 12dpo! then you still have to wait a few days to build up enough hcg to be detected. you aren't out, good luck in the next few days.

Some months I just wait for AF because it's too depressing to see those stark white tests over and over, LOL. So, I say 10dpo at the earliest, but the longer you wait, the more definitive of a bfp you will get (ie, no squinters).

And about the lines- in most cases, they will not get darker in a matter of a few days. I took one at 12dpo and then another two weeks later and it was much darker, but that was 2 weeks later of hcg. So don't fret about lines not getting darkers, ladies!!!! You'll just stress yourself out.

No problem, honey. I used to buy FRERs all the time, have probably spent $500 on them in the past 1.5 years (JEEZ!). So I only go with cheapies now. Unless you are a cool cucumber and don't mind the early bfns, I do think waiting is best. Very few women get them before 10dpo.

I am on the exact same schedule as you, though! I'm 8dpo today and testing on Saturday at 12dpo! Would love to see us both post some good news that morning.

Also, I've almost bitten my kids heads off today I've been SO impatient with them and losing my temper easily! I've had to just get out of the house and go run errands that I don't really need to do because they are much better when out and about then at home. Anyone else know that feeling? Like you just are going to explode if you don't get out of the house?

Implantation is typically 7-10dpo, and some women experience the cramps as well as spotting too. I am hoping good signs for us!!!

hi girls...wow so many newbies here since i have left...and its only been over a week...lol...well AF came slowly from 12dpo then heavy for 3 days with clots and all. i so had all the symptoms you can think offor pg...but the lack of cm made it more clear to me that i wasn't. am just on my 4th day of 100g clomid days 3-8 so on cd7. anyone else here take clomid? i have booked a follicular tracking ultrasound this coming monday and will see how the clomid is affecting me. i will DTD hopefully this weekend....and then again next friday when O is due.
unlike last month i am feeling twinges and O pain already...i think one side affect of clomid...i want to make sure with my U/S that i am not hyper stimulating....if i am told i got 2 follicles all i can hope is that at least one will turn out to be PINK....if a multiple birth is the risk. two more boys OMG.....lol

I took Clomid for 3 months, but only 50mg. I had lots of pains, LOTS. And horrid hot flashes like I was in menopause. Just use tons of opks, because it made me O earlier than usual by a day or two each month. Good luck this next month!!!!!

Okay Lola, I hope thats what they are! Since we are on the same schedule I am 9dpo today too and I have had cramping almost all day long with funny abdominal twinges around my pelvic bone. My cramping started yesterday and I had them on and off the entire day. DD was an oopsie and I had implantation spotting with her about a week or so before AF was due, so I keep checking the TP when I wipe but its been clear all day today.

Fx Lola for you, Hobber and me. We all test saturday.. as you said cross country POAS fest :rofl: I love that!

Being home and making money would be nice but I don't want to start it until after I am done having kids... have to go to school, work about 40hr week, maybe travel, and take care of a family. Hubby asked me to give it a few more months and then we will go to Dr Potter.

With my business I want to put all earnings into a vacation/retirement fund. My parents were not smart savers and lived pay check to pay check. I like saving on most things but I want to see the world with my family and have the money to spoil grandkids.... I think way to far in the future!

Ok, new thing happening and wondering what's going on! I mentioned I was having a bad breakout on my jawline and chin...well, now I have a weird rash that is all around my bra line! Not on my BBs, but below and above where my bra is...no where else and it doesn't itch! It reminds me of a rash I had late in my pregnancy with my DS (!!!!) that the doctor called Pruritic Papules of Pregnancy. I'm wondering if this might be what it is??? I only had it that one time and it went away after I delivered him. The only thing is it came up the last month or so, not earlier.

i am am now on cd11. i will have a U/S on monday to check for follicular tracking and hopefully that will make it more clear to me whether clmid is actually doing anything for me apart giving me PG symptoms...lol....

i am hping to do DTD tonight or maybe tomorrow night. OPk's have only just started to go dark again. still negative but line is beginning to darken. becasue hubby works away form the week....i only have him for tonight, and tommorrow night . so if i O in the week it will be anything of a 1-5 day cut off. as he will be back on friday by which i may have O already or am just about to. we then hopefully will DTD agasin next weekend and this time i will try keeping it all in....i am willing to take the chance as i think clomid has dreid me up so much so conditions are wuite hostile anyway...so need to try keep as much as i can. do give me your opinon for my pink sway.

So sorry, LBAM :( This past summer I had a 33 day cycle (wasn't TTC back then) but it was for no reason at all. Sorry your body threw a wrench at you this month. FX for next cycle!

Last time I started POAS (against ALL advice and my better judgement, but I couldn't help myself!!! lol) I started 5dpt then again every day til I went for my 9dpt beta. Each time, each day, it wouldn't show positive until an hour after testing (I've since taking tests when I knew I wasn't preggers and it never went positive) so there must've been just enough to register after an hour (even though they say discard after 10 mins). On day 9 it went BFP immediately! My betas were normal for a singleton which is what we got (we transferred 2 XY)

This time, let's see, for IVF, my O was approx the day of my retrieval which was on the 15th, transfer on the 20th. Within 6 hours of transfer the cramping started, and for the past 3 days been getting all the "expected" symptoms that everyone gets around 10 to 14 dpo so it's kinda close I think. I am probably going to POAS (just to drive myself nuts cuz that's what I do!) on 8dpt just to relieve some anxiety, lol. I'm convinced a lot of my symptoms are from the crinone as that happened last time too (I called my dr. cuz I was getting burning stretching kind of cramps which was my uterus growing and that said that was a good sign. It was! :)

As for me, other than the same burning stretching cramps (very different from AF cramps, they're in my uterus not ovaries), I have to be careful standing up too quick or I get that "stitch" type pain which drops me to my knees. I have to think about avoiding cold cuts (they always turn my stomach when I'm preggers and hubby works for Boar's Head so NOT COOL, lol), and today, after eating a sandwich, the nausea wave hit. Starting to get light-headed here and there, blood sugar drops (I'm hypoglycemic) so sugar pills need to be on hand constantly, and if you ask hubby, the "Duhs" are starting. I can't tell you how many times today I had to ask him what he had just asked me to do, words were coming out wrong in sentences (kids think that's hysterical) and sore bbs (though they've been sore all along).

Other than that, going to try not to worry, I'll be happy this time if only 1 takes since hubby said we can try again for boy #2 if we only get 1. :)

cd12 DTD yesterday and tried to keep as much a possible...going for my follicular tracking tonight...won't be able to DTD until next weekend so fingers crossed I won't O until next week or O 2day or day after this week for a 2 day cut off. my OPK's still negative although i have alot of twinges and my uterous feels kind of tender.

will let you know what my scan tells me.....hoping doc will see O is imminent....:)

update: OPK positive today!!!!..oh god please please don't let O happen too late as i will have too much of a cut off and then may not evn fall pg again!!!!!hubby is off tonight until thursday...arghhhhh

Biorythmics for me and hubby (both in the neg lean girl), Lunar Calender says boy for me but girl for hubby (his was right for our boys but wrong for me), Oing 3 days after the New Moon, Moon will be in Pisces the day before but Aries the day after (not sure what that means), Chinese Cal says boy but if I wait until Feb or Apr-Nov Girl (makes me want to wait), I am loosing weight everyday so girl, my ph is 5.0.... Ok I am driving myself nuts. I hate snowy weather because I have nothing to do.

hi girls..so as expected..i have been feeling tender and all tonight....had my scan and i have 2 large follicles..15 and 11.5.nothing on my left ovary though so clomid has not any effect on my left ovary this cycle. am told i could O tomorrow so hubby's contribution should cover the basis for that....if not then the other may come friday....which is perfect as hubby is here thursday night....doc also adviced to BD alternative days as this will increase chances of more viable sperm.....DTD two days in a row may decrease chances of producing viable sperm..so learned a bit more today..

FX the follicle that is 15mm large may do it for me this cycle???/was hoping that both follices will do it....but i assume that once conception takes place it prevents the other follicle to be released right? can anyone elaborate on that?

Yes, Crinone does cause symptoms that keep you guessing. Not sure about the AF coming on right away or not. I hope you're just too early and the symptoms are just confusing you. I also take Crinone, except only after getting a BFP because of history of miscarriage. Took it with all 3 of my children, and also after a BFP last month, but it ended up being a chemical and it didn't matter that I was taking it, something else was wrong. It was a whole week before I started spotting, which is long for a chemical. My beta was completely back to zero by that time.
Keep us posted on how you're doing!

The clinic dr. took me off at 9, basically, they caused me to m/c as he was on the small side (though strong hb). Every medical professional I've spoken to said they shouldn't have pulled me so soon, he may have had a chance. This is why this cycle we get the feeling they are all about the $$$ figuring if you're the desperate to get a baby (boy), you'll be back. This is the attitude we experienced for the last 2 months with them. We won't go back if we need a 3rd time.
My Ob-gyn said we'd do what needs to be done to make sure the next little guy has a chance. :) (he's also hubby's cousin, that helps!)

Why did you increase? I was told to take 100mg everyday at the same time because to much can cause infertility. I didn't know that so last cycle I took 200mg cd1-5. Changed it this time because I wanted to delay O a little for a stronger egg. If no bfp then I will try a different cd but not sure when.

Why did you increase? I was told to take 100mg everyday at the same time because to much can cause infertility. I didn't know that so last cycle I took 200mg cd1-5. Changed it this time because I wanted to delay O a little for a stronger egg. If no bfp then I will try a different cd but not sure when.


After everything I read about soy and what a friend of mine did(she got a bfp) I decided to start low and slowly increase....It was just something I wanted to try....I'm not sure if it will mess with my O day, i guess I will know in a few days...

11 dpo and BFN on a FRER :( I am so confused because I have sore bbs, really tired, extra cranky...maybe I'm just imagining it. I'm especially disappointed because when I had my chemical last month I had gotten my bfp on a FRER at 11dpo...so I'm thinking if I'm preggo it should be there by now since it was before :( Not wanting to do anything today--it's rainy and dreary outside and has been for a whole week and my kids have WAY too much energy. Just gotta plow through for them...

Dont give up until AF comes....Fingers crossed she stays away!!!

well...complete positive OPK today. i think the surge started sunday evening when we DTD. according to the docs today i should have O...but my OPK just got darker today so maybe not yet or tonight or tomorrow?. nevertheless i had the worst pains today during my shopping trip in Sainsbury's. it started like AF cramps then into mild labour pains....i thought i was going to pass out at one point felt nauseous and sick. it has calmed down now and i had lots of pinching sensations in the centre of my uterus..and i feel sore and tender now but now cramps.

well i still don't know if i have O or am about to...and sine hubby is not back until thursday evening...i may be out this month unless the 2 day cut off does it for me. i will BD thursday and saturday for good measure...but i don't hold much hope.

what do you girls think???

ps: just tested opk is now turning negative. so i Ovulated today probably early evening. wohoo...

fingers crossed the 2 day cut off worked..wil the egg still be viable by thursday evening i suppose not...:(

i am 1 dpo today...or so i hope so that i am....very tender so am not sure..usually i loose all tenderness after ovulation but this time i am still sore. could that be becsue i may have geared up to ovulate but didn manage. my OPK has started to fade last night..so am assuming if i were to check to day it may be negaitve??wil chek in a bit to confirm that later today.

could i ask anyone who is also taking clomid here and who CARES to respond, whether having follicles of 15mm be released at 16mm. why did the doc tell me that if i am lucky my 15mm follicle from monday should be released on tuesday. that gives me a 2 day cut off. hubby back tomorrow so am hoping to DTD. i had another follicle at 12mm. he also said i might be lucky enough to catch the 12mm on friday and saturday. i don't undeerstand the logic does that mean the 15mm may not be released or the egg is not viable so the 12mm should be big enought o be released instead?thats sound like double ovulation. really confused...so i am not sure if i am 1dpo today or still watiing to ovulate.

hi girls..so as expected..i have been feeling tender and all tonight....had my scan and i have 2 large follicles..15 and 11.5.nothing on my left ovary though so clomid has not any effect on my left ovary this cycle. am told i could O tomorrow so hubby's contribution should cover the basis for that....if not then the other may come friday....which is perfect as hubby is here thursday night....doc also adviced to BD alternative days as this will increase chances of more viable sperm.....DTD two days in a row may decrease chances of producing viable sperm..so learned a bit more today..

FX the follicle that is 15mm large may do it for me this cycle???/was hoping that both follices will do it....but i assume that once conception takes place it prevents the other follicle to be released right? can anyone elaborate on that?

I am taking Clomid as well. In my experience I have never O'd with follicles less than 20mm in size. The eggs aren't mature enough if they are much smaller than that. Once my follicle/s get to around that size (sometimes bigger) I have a trigger injection. Do you have a trigger injection to help the follicle/s release an egg?

I'm not sure if another egg can be released after conception occurs. But I guess that's how non identical twins are conceived?

no i won't be having any trigger shots as i am not currently under proper fertility treatment. i had to pay private to get myself checked out because i thought i was perimenapausal and underwent a test called the bodyclock test which suggested i still have a good ovarian reserve but that i have PCOS. that's when the doc prescribed me clomid. because i have 4 kids already (3 of which where threatened miscarriages) the consultant just told me to first loose weight, take BCP to regulate my cycles and when i am ready to conceive he prescribed the clomid for me but i am not being monitored on it at all. it is only because i am reading all this stuff on the net did i have to pay again to get the follicular tracking scan as my first round didn't work and i was worried about hyperstimulation.

so unfortunately, i am not getting anything with the clomid. trying my own remedies like progestrone cream, and robitussin to increase cm and pregestrone levels and diet. neither time i went for my consultation did they mention or offer me metamorfin or that they can use trigger shots or do this or that which is hugely annoying. they just told me to try for 6 cycles, then pause for 3 and try again and if it doesn't work then i should try IVF.

i wish i could get an IUI and trigger but that means more money which i haven't got!!!!
i am assuming that maybe not all follicles released are viable eggs so maybe that is what he meant when he said i could catch the other egg? i am not sure....you get tongue tied when you go to thesee appointments as you don't want ask all these questions and offend their field of profession. but yes i could ask so many detailed questions yet i forget until after my appointments!!grrrrr

as for my follicles he said that these can be released by the time their 16mm...so he assumed that i may O by tuesday...he didnt seem to say it would happen on wednesday. also why would my OPK turn negative. this means my 15mm should be released today to be at least 19mm. or my OPk should stay positive no? if i am still to ovulate?..so confused....

ps OPK negtiave today...so can OPK become positive and then negative and i still may have not O'd? also....can it become positive again like say tomorrow ? i never had a OPk go form positive to negtiave to positive again.....i think i am 1dpo and i did O.....oh well 12 days to go....last time i spotted at 12 dpo and AF showed up....fingers crossed my 2 ay cut off will do it....but i wont hold much hope....already i am totally dry and i thin with no cm it may not look so good yet again...

the LH surge is caused by oestrogen being produced by the developing eggs - so you only get the surge when the dominant egg is mature enough to be ovulated

if two eggs are ovulated it happens within 24hrs of each other (i.e. the same LH surge causes both to be released because the second was nearly mature enough when the LH surge started)

aww...thanks girls....well all remains to be seen now....doc told me to go on 150mg says 2-6 for me next round....my O pains were so bad this time i am dreading to have to do it all over again....i think i will then give it a break after that one...this time i will not obsess about symptoms...since last time i had all the symptoms of PG under the sun and never was...i will just aim to wait..it out...not...lol.....

wishing everyone better luck though....so happy for those with the BFP's it makes up for my dull days of the 2ww....lol

yes he is...it is a private fertility clinic...to do the whole assisted process it will cost me over £600 including medication but that would involve bloods, scan and monitoring. but since conception is a such touch and go thing i cannot afford to fail again and again IYKWIM...i managed to get th e clomid inlcusive with these scans but any more help and then i got pay for it. if i were to go to the NHS i will be put on hold for months esp as i am not an emergency case since i have children already...to get the scans and be referredand frankly i dont want to waste time. plus they wouldnt do much different apart maybe form scanning and blood works....i wouldnt eligible for IVF until i have tried everythign else for at 2 years.

oh does clomid give false positives??i didnt know that...see i am learning something new everyday. the doc told me that the follciles ned to be at least 16mm or more of course to be viable...i am 100% sure i ovulated becasue of the cramping and stiches i have had all day yesterday today i have lots of stiches and cramping in the centre of my uterus so i am not sure whats that all about....my left ovary did not responde the clomid appearantly so i am surpised to get stiches there.

i caught the sure on sunday thought it was pretty positive then but yesterday it went darker then the control so i i knew it is completel positive, then in the evening it faded again was till positive. today it is negative.

all i can hope that i caught that egg or if miracles do happen i will release another today or early tomorrow an d then have hubby come in the evening to do DTD with me..:)....anyway...fx for all of us struggling with this. as for kids...i ahve 3 boys and 1 girl whom i conceived after an MC. she was a total accident. DH does not want anymore kids but i cannot imagine just stopping like that so we agreed we can try one last time for that girl...if it is a boy we would be ok too..of course but am hoping clomid, age, chees, cranberry and timing will all help increase my chances to give my beautiful daughter a life long friend!!!!

CD12 and O is waiting. I have been cramping all night and they are getting stronger but no "pop" feeling yet like I normally get. Didn't get to dtd last night cuz hubby was so tired he fell asleep with the boys. So looks like we may get a 2-3 day cutoff after all. I haven't been J&D so I hope my tubes are loaded with girls. We will dtd after O... whenever that happens.

I am so excited because I dreamt about a little girl asking for princess dresses. I wanted a tomboy but I would take a princess ;)
