I’ve been so excited to have my 12 week scan so I can put my newfound nub theory skills to the test - but it seems like these skills aren’t as good as I’d hoped! I’m not sure what I think! I’ve never been confident with skull theory either so was hoping that some of you lovely and more experienced people might give me your thoughts?
I have another scan next week so will confirm then but in the meantime would love to know what you think.

Hello! What was the exact gestation? If over 12 weeks 4 days then I’m guessing girl. If less than that though, it’s too early :)

Thanks everyone, I’m now realising I’ve been looking at the middle picture wrong. I thought it was a ‘potty shot’ - it’s so not and now I see a forked nub?

It was 12 weeks 1 day, I’ve a week to wait before I can hopefully find out at a scan.

Really appreciate your comments, I can’t wait to know for sure.

Thanks, I know that but have also seen so many correct guesses on other posts here since I found the forum so I wanted to find out what others thought about mine before my gender scan.

I’m leaning towards girl as many of my physical pregnancy symptoms are very like when I was pregnant with my daughter. Again I know that’s no guarantee though.

Well, if you have a 50-50 chance at something, you will get some correct guesses in that mix.

Symptoms don't predict gender - sorry I don't mean to be a party pooper, I just hate seeing you guys having false hope or false despair over ultrasounds and symptoms that are anything less than sure things.

Good luck and I hope you get what you're wishing for.

Ok everyone, thanks again for your help a few weeks ago. Here’s 2 images taken at 18 weeks, do they show a definite sex?

The tech gave me an ‘almost certain’ guess but I’d be grateful for your thoughts. I’ll let you know if the opinions match!

Thanks for your replies, I’d been told probable boy at 15 weeks (which threw me after the girly nub at 12 weeks) and then girl yesterday so am grateful for the second opinions to confirm! I’ve felt it’s a girl all along!

Bit of a roller coaster in gender guesses by the techs it seems ! Glad you got confirmation, sounds like you’ve been waiting for this little girl..congrats !
