View Full Version : Desperate Pink Sway

We have few boys and have been trying to sway since the first boy using Shettles method. Failed several attempts. We decided to have a last go to add Pink to the family but worry that we might end up with a soccer team. We are so worried that we tried gender selection thru IVF (our other boys are conceived naturally on one attempt), but we have no luck with the embryos growing outside the womb. Just gotten the news that we failed the recent cycle again due to poor embryo quality to proceed for PGS. This is how desperate we are.
I read thru the threads and there’s terms that I do not understand... OPK etc.. Is there a guide or page where I can refer the lingo? Or is there a detailed pink sway guide that I can follow.. daily diet plan, brand and dosage of supplement.. and things need to sway pink. We can follow it diligently and won’t make mistake of swaying blue (we don’t want to take any chance).
Please help! Thanks in advance. Our initial plan is to have a Sept Princess but we failed at two cycles of IVF. 😢

Hi Atomic!! Nice to see your reply. Is there any possibility of getting an expert coach like yourself who provide service of customizing a plan for us? And telling us what to do day by day? We will like to engage as we want to minimize mistakes.
Is it a must to prepare our body for full 12 weeks before we can try again?

The best results for pink are with 12 weeks on diet, exercise etc. However, even with 12 weeks there's no guarantee so how long you wait before ttc can be a personal thing depending on your circumstances.

Hihi... so 12 weeks is the best to improve the odds? If I do not have time for exercise, full time working mum, will that decrease the odds? What kind of exercise are we looking at? Maybe I can try squeezing in to my lunch hours since we can’t eat much during swaying if I understand the LE diet correctly.

I have been reading intensively for the last 24 hours. I am totally lost in all these information. I am thinking of signing up for the complete package, will that help me?

Need some advise... so for the LE diet, for a start, I will need to skip breakfast? Can I eat fruits as breakfast or just a cup of warm water is better? Can I have food like steam white meat in the morning? For lunch, sticking to just fish and seafood with rice or noodles is alright? I can easily skip dinner and skip snacks.
I am currently on as aspirin... I should keep up to it? And I should try to get clomid for the month of TTC?
For DH, is there anything that he needs to change or add in his diet? He’s already a frequent beer drinker and smoke.. this I read somewhere will sway pink?

I'm not a pink swayer, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes best odds for pink are 12+ weeks.
Exercise does improve the odds, recommendation is 5+ 1 hr cardio based workouts per week. I imagine this can be tricky to achieve but does help your sway if you can.
There are calorie recommendations for the LE diet (1500-1800 from memory) and then within that recommendations for fat, protein and carbs (these I don't know sorry).
The diet does suggest an extended fasting period. Most people do this by skipping breakfast, or pushing it back a few hours. But if you prefer to skip dinner TT you can do that too. No foods are off limits but many people go veg to help stay in the limits. Having fruit in the morning would count as eating. GL

12 weeks so I must start fast. I am able to eat less.. one meal a day is sufficient for me... the exercise part is kinda of challenging for 5 times a week. Is there another way out on the exercise part? I usually end work at 9pm.. and it’s will be late to hit the gym or run.

I am taking 5mg of folic daily.. Is that sufficient? Advisable
to drop the baby aspirin?

Yes we have the custom plans available here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/payments.php I make the plan for you and then support you every step of the way. Plus the coaching is every day, while sometimes in the free forums it takes me a few days to get back to you
Ideally we like to see 12 weeks of diet before trying, but many many people start after only 6-8 weeks or even sooner than that. I take all that into account when making the plan.

Exercise is one of our best sway tactics, but if you can't do it, you can't. I got my girl without exercising!

Yes, if you can. most of us have coffee in the morning, with milk or cream but no sugar.
Rather than thinking of individual foods it's better to look at your overall diet. You should not eat only one time a day though. You need to be getting enough calories, protein, and fat to be able to have a healthy pregnancy. Our diet is here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html
Are you on aspirin for any reason? Or just for swaying?
If he's willing to cut back on meat (esp red meat) and even go vegetarian or vegan, that may help. Many people have their husbands have soy milk 12-48 oz daily (but be sure this does not interact with any health issues he has or medication he's taking)
Smoking does sway pink! :agree:

Which plan should I go for, so that you can help me along the way. There’s several options, let me know which and we will subscribe. I was given baby aspirin when trying for gender selection, we failed the recent cycle again (which is sad as we are naturally ok, just that we want to select Pink now). It just did not happen after few attempts.
Folic is what we get in pharmacy... and it’s written 5mg for the tiny pills. DH has been smoking since Day 1 and we are still forming football team. I started my diet by skipping dinner last night.
Will wait for your recommendation on the option plan for payment. Thank you

Just be sure you get the one marked "personalized" or "custom". Those are the ones I do.
Most of the plans come with the personalized plan. The only difference is the amount of extra stuff you get.
Ok. I would have you wean back on the aspirin to 5 per week for now, then over time we may wean back even more. I'll know more when I do your pln. Do be sure no matter what that when you get your BFP, you gradually wean off of the aspirin rather than stopping them suddenly, cold turkey.
Oh ok that's what those of us who have babies with neural tube defects are prescribed. Most people don't take that much but if you take it, be sure to wean off it at the end of the first trimester. Don't keep taking that high amount all thru pregnancy.

I am on my last 10 days or so for the aspirin.. and there’s this last pill to take and I am done with it. I have no intention to continue with it unless it help in my sway. I do not have the defect issues but that’s the normal dosage sold here in clinics and pharmacy.

What’s the difference between Complete or Bundle? Only the duration of 6 months or 12 months?

Ok. Please go ahead and start weaning off the aspirin - start spacing the doses to every 2 days instead of daily, then 3 days then 4 till down to once a week. We don't want you going from taking it daily to taking it never, all at once. 10 days' worth should be enough to wean off of them. It's safer for your health.

No the one has additional e-books that come with it. It's the number of books.
OPK are "ovulation predictor kits" that detect hormones in your urine that happen before ovulation. It helps us know when to have intercourse to conceive.
