Hi again. I had a miscarriage in mid October. For that pregnancy I did one attempt at positive OPK. I was not on clomid.

I did everything the same this cycle with the exception of cutting some stuff out that lowers fertility and adding clomid. I also had a fever around the time we had our attempt. I thought for sure I would get pregnant quickly adding the clomid. However, I’m fairly certain I am not pregnant this cycle. I’ve had sever BFNs and all I need is my period in a few days to confirm.

Was my cut off too soon? We timed our attempt on the exact same cycle day as last time with a positive OPK. I really want to do one attempt. How does every four days compare?

I’m also really frustrated about having to sway near Christmas. I live for second helpings of my holiday food!

some months just aren't the month, with or without Clomid.

Can you please clarify - did you get a positive OPK this month?? Or just BD the same day you got pos OPK LAST month?? Clomid can change your ovulation day quite dramatically so that may not have been a well timed attempt.

If this is your first month on Clomid you could do one more month with one attempt before doing e4d but you'd need to take OPK and not just BD on a certain cycle day.

Every 4 days got very similar results to one attempt but I prefer everyone give one attempt a good try before going to e4d. So if this is the first month on Clomid let's give it one more month with one attempt.

Tell me everything else you're doing (not diet but other stuff that may prevent conception)

Thank you, both attempts were on cycle day 10. I had a positive ovulation predictor with both attempts. I took a few more in the days that followed to be sure and they were all negative. I know day 10 seems soon but I figured it worked last time.

I used diet, skipping breakfast, coffee, exercise, cut off, occasionally Cranberry, Cinnamon, Pregnatude, and Acijel with the miscarriage.

This cycle only diet, skipping breakfast, coffee, exercise, and cut off. I did have the fever this cycle. I had a fever shortly after the attempt.

Well, negative tests don't necessarily tell us when O has occurred.

CD 10 is pretty early even for CD 14 ovulation. If you must do a cutoff I'd do CD 11,12 instead. (but that only works for CD 14 ovulation, which may not happen on Clomid) Then I"d have you start doing every 4 day method in the 72 hour pattern after that cutoff attempt.

Why are you using cinnamon and Pregnitude?

I'm not a fan of cranberry as I think we've already talked about There is no point in taking cranberry occasionally, you only get the risks and side effects without any potential benefits from it.

Sorry for any confusion. I was only using those things prior to my miscarriage and before talking with you. I think I saw them on the statistics page and thought they looked pretty effective. I haven’t used those supliments since that cycle a couple of months ago. The only thing I’ve used for the last couple of months is diet, exercise, and one attempt. I’ve only used the clomid this last month. :)
