There is sooooo much conflicting advice out there on what teas are safe to drink during pregnancy. While swaying, I actually started to enjoy my daily peppermint and RRL teas, but according to many sources (including atomic), those are now out in the first trimester. After what I went through last pregnancy I don't want to take any chances at all this time.

From what I've read fruit teas and ginger teas are generally agreed to be safe. I got some ginger peach tea the other day. The ingredients are ginger root, hibiscus flowers, rosehips, apple granules, blackberry leaves, roasted chicory root, lemon grass herb, stevia leaves. Does that sound ok?

I also have 'raspberry thriller' tea: hibiscus flowers, rosehips, orange peel, roasted chicory root, lemon balm leaves, cinnamon bark, raspberry leaves (oops!)

Finally, I have 'lemon thriller': lemon grass, rosehips, orange peel, roasted chicory root, verbena leaves, lemon peel.

These are all the same brand, which would explain the similarities.

Would one cup of peppermint tea a day be ok? I found this yummy mojito tea by Tetley: mint leaves, natural lime flavour, honey

How many cups a day are ok? If I were to vary between the various flavours, could I have 3-4 cups a day if I wanted? It's a nice way to chase off these dreary, cold winter afternoons and evenings.

Good idea, Kitten. I've used their advice before.
