Cal
Cranberry with Vitamin C

Folic acid
Thanks xx

no, they won't raise sugar levels but even if they did it would quickly drop back down again

Thanks! So would it be a good idea to take the vitex in the morning, then folic acid and magnesium tablets with lunch and then teh calcium (liquid form) with dinner? I assume cal and mag are best taken with food? Are there any reasons calcium shouldnt be taken at dinner time? I dont want to sacrifice any of my scarce hours of sleep due to indigestion or so ;)
Thanks in advance, n

Calcium should be taken with Vitamin C...or it isn't absorbed as well by the body.

oops, really? I thought that was what the Vitamin D was for, sigh.... My cranberry caps contain vit C. Does anyone know if I can take the cranberry before the Calcium liquid? I have bulk bought the cranberry supps as there was an offer, so I cant really not use them now :(
I have decided against vitamin D by the way, too much nutrients...

You risk adding extra nutrients that way which likely sways blue

Take your calcium with a meal. There is always some vit. c in meal for example at dinner time. Vegtables contain vit. c or your dessert when it's with some fruit.

Both Vit D and Vit C help with calcium absorption in different ways.

Thanks atomic, would you say that its better to take vit C since its acidic?

I personally would not have you take either, because we don't even know that we WANT calcium to be absorbed or if we want it floating around unabsorbed and getting excreted in our CM.
Nutrients across the boards seem to sway blue.
Lesser of two evils I would go with Vit. C over D because Vit. D raises testosterone.

right, I agree atomic, thanks... I didnt realise those cranberry supps contained the vitamin C, I only saw this now. Will buy different ones once these are finished.
Talkig about calcium in CM.... is there anyway to just "douche" with it?

You can, but I think particles of calcium are even less likely to get all the way up inside to where the egg is fertilized than pH is! Directions here if you want to try it. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?866-Guide-to-Douching-TTC-Pink
If I didn't mention this already (or even if I did) you can always try giving your DH the cal/mag - nutrients don't seem to sway much for men (becos women's bodies are the ones that must carry a baby for 9 months and then breastfeed in nature while men can go onto father 1000 other children during the same time period) so by giving HIM the cal-mag, you may reap some benefit from it while not risking the increase in nutrients for you.

Thanks atomic, will check it out. Interesting thoguht giving dh the cal/mag....just not in my case, dh isnt up for swaying no does he beileve in it nor care whether we have a boy or girl as long as its healthy..... bless his soul.

Hi Nini,
When i bought my Calcium the pharmacist advised that calcium is best taken at night as its better for absorption. Im not sure why as I didnt ask. I remember threewillys saying that she takes her calcium 2hrs either side of any other supps too as its better for absorption. The pharmacist also said that unless you are vit. D deficient you shouldn't need to take extra vit d. I hope this is all correct and i haven't been misinformed.

Don't worry TOO much about when you take your supps. It really isn't that important.
