I have just ordered some fibre supplements and am unsure how and when to take them as I have very little weight to lose. I am currently 8 stone and am 5ft 3. I plan to start the LE diet hardcore next wk ready for my first attempt end of feb. I don't really want to lose to much more weight as by changing my eating habits over the last few months and eating a vegetarian diet I've already lost 8lbs and I'm worried that the fibre may aid weight lose. I am currently about 9-10lbs less than when I conceived both my son and daughter. Thanks x

Thanks. I'm just wondering if I should take them less frequently or for less time to prevent losing too much weight.

If you're already less than when you conceived your other kids, I think you better reserve the fiber for ONLY meals when you've cheated and eaten a lot of fat. I also want you to aim for 1800-2000 cals.

So DON'T take it every day or with every meal, just save them for when you've gone overboard with fat.

Thanks for replying Atomic. Will do as u have suggest. Since counting my calories I've realised that I do only eat about 1500 maximum normally, hence is probably why a already have a daughter. I feel the reason I had a son first was cause It was probably the only time in my life that I was eating more calories - had recently got married, wasnt working and was enjoying cooking for my husband. It was also Christmas when I conceived him. Thanks again atomic for your time and excellent advice x

If that is the case, then it's prob. best for you to stick to the 1500-1800 cals, since you know you conceived a girl at that caloric intake before.

Thanks for sharing your experience because it is very helpful to all of us!!

Any kind of fiber supp like Metamucil or Chitosan is fine as long as it contains no other nutrients.

It helps absorb fat and fat soluble vitamins like A and D from the foods you eat so you get less nutrients that way.
