Is this a nub or a piece of leg or umbilical cord?

Hi there,

On a Dutch forum, a few women looked at my ultrasound photo's. At least one of them found that this is probably the nub. Do you agree with her?

And would you be so kind to look at the other pic I enclose as well, because there the presumed nub seems to be in a totally different angle.

Please tell me what you think. I am so curious!

I am new here. May I ask, do you have a trained eye? The woman who pointed out the nub in the first picture, claims to have a succes rate of about 70%. She guessed a boy and was sure for 85%, she said. But now I am wondering if she has interpreted the pictures wrong. What do you think the pointy smudge on the picture would be, then? Hope you can enlighten me a bit. Thanks again.

The last pic looks like the nub to me pointing straight up and the skull shape looks like a boy as well to me.

I guess on quite a lot of pictures, but don't know my success rate! I don't know/buy in to the skull shape theory.

Nuthinbutpink, do you really think that thing pointing strait up is the nub? It looks kind of weird to me.

Anyone other want to make a guess to tell me if the nub is or isn't visible on these photo's? Thanks!

I have looked and guessed on a lot of nub shots in the last years on in gender and I would agreew ith the guesser on the Dutch forum, 85% BOY, based on the bottom picture. To me, that is a clear nub and it looks very boyish. Hope this is what you want to hear xx

Thanks to you both. It is difficult. I would not mind a boy, myself, but because I have a daughter, I think a sister for her would be nicer than a brother. Maybe (and hopefully) I am wrong about that.

Maybe I am wrong, but I keep wondering with that second picture: where is the rest of the leg? Above, you see a piece of leg from knee to foot, but the piece under the knee has fallen of the image. Now, I wonder how would the nub be visible, if the leg that is just in front of it (judging by the angle of the knee) isn’t visible? Any techs that would explain this to me?
I keep thinking there might be a possibility that the ‘nub’ is actually a piece of leg, just before the image falls short. Any comments on this thought?

I think the nub is visible in pic1 and looks like a boy, i think the thing in pic2 is leg and no nub can be seen.
