Low progesterone levels

I am currently 4 wks 6 days. First levels were taken at 8-9 sports. HCG was 111 and progesterone was 8. Dr. suggested starting progesterone suppositories. I don't really support the theory but figured why not and decided to go with it since this is our last attempt anyway. I have had three previous miscarriages over the last year. I am supposed to get new levels taken today or Wednesday. I know it's the doubling number that counts but just wanted to know what your thoughts were on progesterone levels that early.

Well, if you have 3 losses already, I would be inclined to use the extra progesterone in the hopes of avoiding another loss! Good luck!

I don't believe progesterone really helps but I'd certainly give it a whirl to see what happens.
