You still haven't told me how you told your girls! ;)

Oops!!

Well DH wanted to wait till they got home but I said NO I can't wait lol!!!!

So we stopped at the younger two's campus and pulled out our 9 y/o. Sat her down and showed her the profile and then said now what do you think it is and she said ummmmm girl? And I pulled out the potty shot and said this is leg and this is bottom this is leg and what is this? And she grinned and whispered "a penis" and then we all laughed hahahahahahah and hugged and kissed lol We could hear her class mates squeeling with excitement just waiting to hear the news lol!

Then we went up to our 5 y/o's kindie class and teacher aide came to the door and said your both grinning is it what i think it is?!!! and i said YES and we laughed (again) and she was so excited then she got Ebony and we sat her down and did what we did with Bella. When we asked what was between the legs she said "A Willy!" and then "I told you so!!" and then ran inside to tell her teacher and then she was all excited for us too :D

Sooo then I stopped in my year 2 class where I work. Kids all rushed up and asked and so we all sat on the mat and then I explained about the scan and baby is healthy and how the scan works and passed the profile pic around. Then I made them guess. Most said boy. A few girls said girl LOL. Then.. I said ok.... after 4 girls we are having a ... and we pulled out a football. The boys bounced around and cheered YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! and then I pulled out blue mittens and the girls went AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! It was magical!

So then we drove to our 13 y/o's school and as she walked out of class she saw us and kind of laughed and said what is it? I got the pics out like we did with our other girls and she laughed and cried and OMG'd lol and her friends all cheered for her!!!!!

So then we drove home lol to our almost 4 y/o who was being watched by our neighbour and we were greeted with a blue balloon and a tigger plush toy and she kind of didn't really care lol just more excited about her pink balloon lol when we got inside I said so what do you think you have a brother in my tummy! and she looks at me and says "But I wanted a sister..." haha well cant please everyone lol but soon after she was like a baby brother mummy!!!

Pinkin ~ good luck for Monday, hopefully your ob will take a peek for you. I will be stalking x

Well im not having a great day today, the vet specialist phoned today with the results about Niamh and they have confirmed she has canine lupus and she has the more severe/very rare lupus which attacks her internal organs. It is already attacking her own nose and vet says she has anemia and the lupus is already in her bone marrow :(
We have an appt on 22nd straight after our gender scan to see where we go next, it can be treated but cant be cured.

I dont know how much bad news i can cope with in one day :( so hope i hear girl at scan x

Hobbers, I still can't wait for the moment when you hold your baby :DS: in your arms! It's going to be so magical, when you meet your babe, and he's a blue one!

Bumblebee, I am still overjoyed that you get to end your family with a :DS: Boys are such huge blessings, and I truly believe it's great for the kids to have a mix gender sibling, if possible!

Pinkin, I hope you hear girl on Monday, but it's still super early, so the OB may not tell you anything. FX tho!

I hate admitting this, but since i found out DD is on her way, I have really, really come to bond deeper with DS2. He was my GD baby, and although I loved him and took care of him well, I always held back a little bit, and now he's one years old, and getting so funny and so cute, I am totally, oozing in love with him! He has some hair growing on the very top of his hair and it's sticking up, looks so silly. Plus, he's getting a lot more fun to play with!

DS1 and I have always been tight, but I am appreicating him in new ways too. I am just so excited to be giving these boys a sister!! It is amazing.

I got my screening results back, and they were okay I guess--the risk for downs is 1:200, which is .5% chance. It is better than what they said at the 12 wk scan, which was 1:120. Has anyone had a risk like this? I am still kind of worried. They said the cut-off for "normal" is 1:270, so 1:200 isn't terrible, right? :nails: now I am kind of worried, even though the risk did go down from the first set of tests.

Anyone else getting braxton hicks contractions? I am getting them already! O_O Definitely didn't expect it so early, but I've read that it's normal with subsequent pregnancies.

Yes!!! Last night they were soooo strong only thing that eased them was laying on my tummy in a warm bath.

Aw, there's nothing wrong with admitting that! :o I was the same when I heard my DD was a girl. Actually, I'd say that my second boy and my dd are closest to me at the moment :). (DS1 is awesome too, but he's a daddy's boy :D)
I think getting your dg puts things into perspective, and makes you appreciate what you have already even more than you did before.

Hobber, I know you would have wanted to see an even better result than you did. However, don't forget that even most women who get a positive down syndrome result according to the bloods turn out to have a healthy baby.
I guess I always remind myself that nothing is guaranteed throughout an entire pregnancy. When I was pg with DS1 a friend was due 1 month ahead of me, and then when she was 30weeks her baby suddenly died. They never found a cause, but it is always in the back of my mind that even when you appear to have a perfect baby, it can all be ripped away. I celebrate the milestones and u/s telling me everything is good, but I know that there are some things that are beyond my control. Hope that story is not too depressing for everyone.

Happy Mother's Day to all the other Aussie mums. (A bit longer to wait for everyone else!) I have had breakfast in bed and some very special gifts that my children made. I am keen to tell the boys that I am pg today, but I think DH wants to wait until I have seen the OB on the 21st. I have started to tell some people as my tummy is getting big I think they will be asking me very soon!

HappyLea, poor puppy. What a rotten thing to happen. I hope the treatment helps.

GL tomorrow Pinkin! You'll be just fine. Don't forget to breathe.

Hey ladies, I haven't really been around much the last couple of days. My twins turned 6 yesterday, and we spent the day at Niagara Falls, then today I had a big birthday party for them at our house, so I've been a little busy.

I just wanted to make sure I wished everyone a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow (or today depending on where in the world you are). I'm really hoping I get to sleep in tomorrow - that would be the best Mother's gift for me. My Mom's coming for a visit, which will be nice - it's wonderful to spend Mother's Day with my mom and my kids at the same time.

Morning ladies

Well its my DS3 birthday today, he is 2! :omg: where has my 6lb 4oz baby gone?!

Today i have a day with just DS3 and myself, DH working and both older boys at school. We having a morning of playing with his presents and then off out for the afternoon. Just typical tho that out of all his toys he is walking around with a birthday card that sings...lol!

Yeah HappyLea Is really soon!!

Oh my Gosh bummblebee my tooth is terrible!!! Ok this is my day... My car has broken down done a head gaskit if thats how its spelt?? over $1,000 to fix.. Then my tooth well dentist said cant obviously do xrays and said its too far gone just to fill so I have to get the first stage of root canal done which means taking the nerves out ( I Think) and cleaning it right out!! anyway 4 needles later and they HURT today ... My tooth would not numb properly and she did grind alot of tooth away but I nearly broke my fingers off with the pain! she had to end up stopping and I go back thursday for another try and I am SCARED!! dont usually have a problem with the dentist but I am now crapping myself my whole week is ruined!
THEN I came home and I was driving my MIL car ... I went inside do get something came back out and locked my house keys inside!!!!!!!!! AAAGGGGG and my d/h is away for a week!! anyway Had to get the locksmith... What a crap day!!

Then no scan just wasnt a good day

Bumblebee
May 14th, 2012, 08:32 AM
oh dear so sorry to hear you're having such an awful day, Dentists freak me out, I hate dentists!! the grinding is the worse part and trying to breathe while someone tries to clean your mouth, I hate it! sorry to hear about your car, that's the last thing you need more expense! have you managed to get your keys yet? hope everything is alright. Don't worry about your scan I think its a good thing to wait as long as you can for a 20 week scan before finding out the gender because there will be no room for error or doubt by then and whatever you see will be fully developed and clear. Plus baby will be nice and big and you will be able to see a lot more features aswell. :)

Pinkin, sorry you didnt get a scan but at least you'll get one in four weeks time!

Happylea, I still get a major girl vibes for you! FX you get to live out your dream! I had more girl than boy dreams early on whith this pregnancy and the girl ones always felt so real, like it was really going to happen, and the boy dreams felt more like my brain just trying to work out the "what ifs" or sort out my emotions. FX your gut feeling and your mom's about the baby being a girl is right...it was right for me.

Mocha, happy bday to your twin boys!! Sounds like such a pleasant evening!

DH and I went to the park and DS1 fed ducks and chased them around, DS2 tried to eat rocks, but besides that, it was really fun, we took some pics on hubby's phone, and I forgot to upload them to Facebook. Will have to do that tonight. Hubby took me, his mom and his grandma out to an early dinner for Mother's day, and while I typically do not enjoy the company of his side of the family, they were super sweet and chill (for once) at the dinner and it was very nice. The boys came too, and they got a little loud but it was all good.

DH admitted that he thinks the baby girl will have him wrapped around her finger and he's wanting to touch my belly more and put his face up aganist to feel any kicks. She's not kicking hard yet, but definitely moving around a ton! He just hasn't got to experience it yet. I'm getting really big out of nowhere, so I don't think she's going to be a shrinking violet~! Here I come with another 8-9 lb baby, I'm sure!

Thanks ladies, had a great morning playing with DS3 and his new toys, followed by a trip to the shops to get him some new clothes and pumps with his birthday money...followed by a trip to see my parents i got yet another head ache and couldnt face anywhere else :( im getting them daily now.

Do or have any of you ladies suffered from headaches in pregnancy? I never have before but the last week or so im getting them daily...i dont really like to take any meds when pregnant but i have been having paracetmol.

Bumble ~ my uti feels much better now im on anti biotics and drinking lots :D my scan is next Tuesday. Im dreading it as everyone in my family is convinced im having a girl and i dont want to have to tell them its a boy:(

Pinkin ~ oooh your tooth sounds painful and its pants that they couldnt fix it propperly and you have to go back. Im not a fan of the dentist either, but he is abit of eye candy so that makes it alittle easier

auroa ~ i sure hope your vibes for me a correct, my dream felt so so real...i was gutted when i woke up.

Pinkin, That kind of day WOW.. I didn't know you could get a tooth filled while pregnant, I guess it would not numb correctly because you are prego? Hormones throw everything off when we are pregnant, even my hair colors differently during it!
That's horrible, my friend. I am so sorry to hear it! I hate the dentist with a passion. I haven't been in years, and after each pregnancy I told myself I'd go, but nope! LOL
I want to go and be sedated and get it all done at once!
I'm sorry your car crapped out and on top of it you got locked out of the house too.

PP, you find out on the 18th?

HappyLea, I dont have this shoes, but I may track them down! I really want to find a pair in this similiar color scheme and fabric. I think it would be too adorable to see a little in those kind of shoes! Speaking of shoes, I got a pedi the other week and I need some cute work sandals to show it off! I also got 30 free bucks to spend at my kids shop I go to (you know when you buy X amount of dollars they give you 'cash' to spend at a later time?) the cash expires on the 19th, and I do not want to waste 30 free bucks...I'll probably be looking mostly in girl section again, but I am vowing to be a good mommy and get the boys each something new!

Yesterday, DS1 got mad that DS2 was following him around too much and they were fighting over the door, and DS2 got his little fingers stuck! DS1 hadn't closed it very tight, and DS2 was more upset I think about being left out than his fingers. There were a little red at first but then recovered fine quickly. Then DS1 started crying really hard because my DH yelled at him for closing the door on DS2 fingers, and then DS2 started crying again after hearing DS1 cry! It was terrible! We were trying to tell DS1 that we were upset over his actions, but he thought we didn't love him anymore and took it very personally. I still don't think he understood what we were saying...he just took it as Daddy got mad at him. I want him to understand WHY, but he's still 4, so this is normal, right?

Pinkin, before you know it, June will be here! i know it sounds so far away...I can't believe it's been almost 4 weeks since we found out the baby's gender...these last 4 weeks flew by! And I'm glad your tooth isn't giving you any more trouble.

Pinkin, I had a root canal done when I was pg with DS2. Not a heap of fun at the time, but worth it in the end. Hope she can numb it more easily tomorrow for you. Perhaps take a couple of panadol before you go to help a little bit as well.

TTC5, how horrible. Have they done a stool test yet? It has gone on for so long now you should try and find out if it is viral or bacterial. I had campylobacter food poisoning with DS1 and until I was on the right ABs, I was so sick.

ZB posted it on one of the OWT threads or somewhere else that she has confirmed its a girl though she still hopes it will come out a boy. Hey everyone, I still haven't told my family about the pregnancy yet, and I am starting to stress! (They all live out of state and haven't seen me, or they would surely know by now!) I was talking to my mom yesterday, and she was actually saying how she missed having a baby around, and when I didn't really say much in response, she said, "You're beyond that now, aren't you?" in a tone that made me realize she might actually be HAPPY to hear about another grandbaby. So I guess I am not too worried about her.... but the inlaws and my dad, well, I am not looking forward to telling them.

auroara78
May 16th, 2012, 03:14 PM
Hobbers, my mom would disinterit me if I hadn't told her as soon as I found out! Even though she was not happy at all (she worries about us finacinally too much), it was great that it gave her time to adjust, though then i had to deal with her haggling me about gender. Of course now that i'm having a girl it's "no big deal" and if this was a boy she would have been bemoaning about how why couldn't it have been a girl...(Yeah, I love our forced twice weekly conversations on the phone!)

When are ya thinking about telling them?

Just woundering for the ladies on their second preg now OR if you can remember your second one, When did you start to pop out a bit and when did you feel bubs move??

I just recently popped out for REAL this past week (ya know, so it looks like actual baby bump instead of looking bloated or fat). Then again, I've sort of been gaining a bit more than I would like, too.

As far as movement, I've been able to really tell it's baby since around 15 weeks. But it's not consistent or powerful or anything. At this point I even get sort of a queasy feeling because it seems like baby is rolling around like crazy! I just know now that it's not my previous gas problems. ;) LOL!

With my 2nd pregnancy, I started feeling movement around 18 weeks I think? Maybe 16? I can't remember. It was earlier than the first because I knew what I was feeling. Can't remember the 3rd but this time I think it was around 15 weeks or so? I popped out pretty quickly this time, and I am HUGE now.

Pinkin, I don't remember when I popped out with DS2, only that it was earlier than with DS1. That whole pg was a blur, as I was so busy running around after DS1 and working! With DS1 I was 23 weeks before people were game enough to ask me if I was pg (I kept a diary with that one!) Movement wise, I thought it was around 17 weeks. This time I have an anterior placenta so think I may feel it quite late.

TTC5, the hospital that rehydrated you should have sent off a specimen. Seriously, if you are sick enough to need a drip, you are sick enough to find out what the hell is going on! I was 19 weeks when I got campylobacter with DS1, so very similar. DH got it as well (dodgy thai fish cakes that weren't cooked properly at a cafe). It runs your body down terribly, to the point that I almost needed a blood transfusion and DH got pneumonia. Anyway, I am hoping that it does not turn out to be that in your case, but if you are like me, you want to know one way or the other so you can be treated effectively. Your baby will be taking every little thing it needs from you and leaving you with nothing. They are very resilient, but it is horrible to go through. And yes, mine started with dreadful abdominal cramps and then the diarrhoea started and it continued for a week until I was diagnosed. I didn't vomit at all. Hope you get some answers soon. Keep up the gastrolyte!

Hey PP, yes they said they were going to get a sample but never did. They shoo you out the door fast as they get you in, our medical system here is a disgrace :(

I think it's normal to panic as your scan approaches, HappyLea. I was CONVINCED mine was a boy in the days leading up to my scan, even though I'd allowed myself to get optimistic before that. It's a personal choice whether or not to go, but I never regretted finding out with ds3 - it gave me time to get over my GD before he was born and be genuinely excited to meet him. And if you hear girl just think how wonderful it will be to relax and just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

HappyLea

Thanks Mocha, i too dont regret finding out with DS3 at all. I just know i have kinda got my hopes up with this one as my mum and auntie are convinced its a girl from 12 week scan and even though the guesses i received where only on skull, i got 100% girl guesses.

Does anyone (or have you before in a previous pregnancy) have a burning pain and numbness on the outside of their thigh? I have had it every pregnancy except my first. It is called Meralgia paraesthetica, and comes from excess weight or a low belly compressing a nerve or something. It only bothers me when I am standing or walking around for a while, so cooking or shopping really aggravate it. It is probably the worst pregnancy symptom I have. I hate it!!

Pinkin ~ i do hope your having a girl! when is your scan?

Hobber ~ i never even heard of Meralgia paraesthetica, doesnt sound nice. Not a nice pregnancy symptom to have. Now if i had it, that would be my excuse to get dh to cook and do the shopping  hobber you take it easy.

Well no head ache yet for me but give it a couple of hours and i know i will have it, could do without it today as im going doing my cousins make-up for her football presentation.
Im also so clumsy at the minute, dropping stuff etc and today i burned my finger in the oven...ouch!

My dad got me some sherbert yesterday with some lollipops, not had it since i was a kid, :omg: so yummy but so so naughty...eeek!

Happylea, sorry you are having so many headaches! Does it help to drink more water? Do you take tylenol? I get headaches if I don't stay hydrated enough... they are awful!

I have been super clumsy too. I drop everything! That happens every pregnancy for me, and it makes me feel so ridiculous!

I think your probably right, i dont think im hydrated enough. I been through my dialy eating/drinking with my dietician and she says im not drinking enough and should aim to be drinking more to keep my hydrated. I just find i get so busy doing stuff i forget to drink.

Well from burning my finger today my day has just got worse and worse, i cant wait for today to be over with! DS1 now has sore throat and doing some very horrible stinky poo poo's. My dog decided to be sick in the kitchen (i didnt hear her) she then came into living room and did 3 massive piles of sick on my living room floor. I go to put her outside and she throws up on conservatory rug. :( DH at work and i gag so much when cleaning sick up, so i tell DS2 not to move off the sofa as he would stand in it, well he comes into kitchen when im getting cleaning stuff totally missed it. Then walking back in living room he stood and slid right in it :sigh:. Anyway i start to clean up and gag so much i have to run to toilet to throw up :sigh: well after tieing something around my face to stop smell i manage to clean it up.

Then i get a phone call from school DS1 has hurt his eye can i pick him up, turns out he had dust in his eye and it was swollen and irritating him. He is ok now though.
I now just have 3 tired boys that just keep crying at every little thing. :hair:

Is it not bedtime yet, im gonna go :hide: until it is.

Sorry for ranting on

I AM SO MAD AT MY MIL!! I wrote her an email about the baby, saying it was the final grandchild and we would appreciate them being supportive even though we knew they wouldn't be excited about the news (they were pissed about #3). She wrote back,

"Can't believe you when you say this is the FINAL Grandchild. You said that with #2, then #3, now #4. What's to stop you from #5 or 6????"

Holy crap, what a bitch!! It took all I had to not write back and tell her to f#&%k off!!

I think people usually are well intentioned but have absolutely no idea how to get their feelings across without being totally hurtful. what is her concern for you and dh? Financial security, free time? If u can figure that out even though it's none of her business anyway, you may just feel less angry about her response iykwim.
Hope I didn't over step just felt I wanted to reply to what u posted.

I appreciate your response! I just may tell her we are going for #7--haha! She only had one kid--DH--so I think maybe she thinks we are crazy for having more. Also, DH has had a hard time with work because of the economy, so I bet she is worried about us financially. But she doesn't support us, so she really has NO say in how many we have! Besides, the economy will get better; things are already better for DH than they were a year ago. Anyway, thanks for listening to me vent!

Its so funny my in laws always have something to say. They werent impressed when we told them we were pregnant with DS1 never mind 2,3 and now #4 hahaha! Also we have 2 dogs so they also had something to say about that. I also had 2 rabbits but sadly they passed away and we had no intentions of replacing them but when MIL said to me "dont get anymore rabbits" i then thought i wanted to just to p**s her off. I didnt but me and DH told her now that the rabbits had gone we were going to get a pig to replace them, it would live in the shed where the rabbits used to live and corner some of the garden off for it. We blagged her about it for a few days, she even rang his sister to tell her what we were doing and how disgusted she was

DH told her we were joking after a few days, but it was nothing to do with her anyways.

Was funny as she really thought we were getting a pig...lol!

HappyLea, I love the story about the pig!

Yeah my MIL wanted us to stop at 1 as well. She was very unsupportive doing DS2's preg and totally remote now with this baby's preg. All she said when we told her it was a girl was, "Good, you got what you wanted, you guys can stop now, right?"

It's her son (who was an only child and HATED it) thats wants to have another one day, and if we do, I don't care one thing about what she thinks! She's an off and on again drug addict who can't even afford to live on her own at 52 years old. Her opinion means nothing to me....it's not like she worked for years so hard...who is she to tell us what we can and cannot afford?

And sorry if the money comment offended anyone...

I wish I could discount my MIL like that.... unfortunately she is retired after working hard her whole life, managed her money well, and is living off retirement investments with no debt, so I guess that is where she is coming from with the shitty stuff she said to me. Still, it is none of her F-ing business how many kids we have!!

TTC5, how are you going? I think it usually takes a few days to get results back so you may not have heard anything yet. I know what you mean about the public system getting you in and out super fast. They are under a lot of pressure. It helps having worked in the system. I know what to ask for! If it does turn out to be campylobacter, it is a reportable infection and you receive a questionnaire and have to try and remember everything you ate for a week before you got sick. It is a pain but then you can take antibiotics that kill it off and are safe to take while pg.

Hobber, I would be upset by the MILs comment as well. I am always sensitive to things mine says to me. However, she would never say that sort of comment (because she wants more grandchildren)...just be more obsessed than me about this being a girl! And my parents had 4 kids, so when we told them about this pg, they were super excited and my dad said 'We think 4 is a good number'!

All the best Purple! Can't wait to hear your news.

Hobbers, your MIL is like the mayor of rude city. I can't imagine anyone (especially family!!!) being so negative about the blessing of a baby. I could see if it was a burden on her, but it's not. It's not her business and she should just calm the EFF down and at least pretend to be okay with it.

Then again, my MIL is being all fake nice and wanting to take me on a shopping trip. I have no idea what she thinks we are going to buy...we don't need anything. I've been hitting up garage sales and spending very little. She apparently wants to go out and buy a $50 outfit for the baby or something. Ugh. And MY mom is being all dumb about finding out gender (when she wasn't able to know for either of her pregnancies and said it was fun). She keeps saying, "Oh, you should just find out and tell just me. I can keep a secret." I'm like, no way!! I't my choice and I want EVERYONE to be surprised because it's my birth experience and I can do what I want. So there! We have enough gender neutral stuff that the baby WILL have plenty of clothes. There is time for pink or blue later. Besides, she'll be watching DS1 while we are in the hospital and will most likely take him shopping to pick something. :)

Purple, what a shy little one you have! Hope you feel better very soon. It is horrible being sick when you are pg.

DH and I went to see the OB today. No scan, just a heartbeat check. I am strongly considering staying team green now that I won't know gender until at least 18-20 weeks. Kind of feel like if I can last that long not knowing, and not even being able to guess, that maybe I should just wait it out. I keep changing my mind though. My nuchal testing came back better than expected for my age, so I can't ask for more than that. We told the boys about the pregnancy last night. DS1 is being super sweet and wanted to tell his class for 'show and tell' so I gave him my 12 week u/s pics to take. When I gave him a kiss goodbye at school he said 'I hope the baby has a good day'! I know DS2 will be besotted once it arrives as he is like that with all babies, but for now he is not overly interested. DS1 used to say he didn't think I should have any more babies as I was already busy enough, so it has made me so happy to have him this excited.

Originally I didn't want to go to it because my sister did not come to my son's last month, but I decided that I wasn't going to live my life like that, and I really went because my oldest son LOVES being around his cousins, and he had the best time ever!! DS2 kept trying to eat grass or sand so chasing him down all day long was kind of tough. He kept trying to climb up the slide because he saw DS1 go down it, so my husband gently (while holding onto it) let him go down the slide and DS2 awarded us with the biggest smiles ever!

So I am glad I went and was not petty about it. The boys had a great time, and it was lovely seeing my mom and brother. My other sister was there too (the one who didn't come to DS2's party) but it's OK, I talked to her too and just let it roll off my back.

I am doing the anatomy scan on friday. I am hoping the Dr who has 30y with scans will be able to get something. I found out yesterday the 3d scan tech has only been doing them about a year.

Auroara - My SIL didn't invite us to my neices birthday and doesn't see or give anything to my boys... I gave my MIL a big gift to give her so I knew she got it. I am going to kill them with kindness.

Im back ladies and we are having :DS:4 i so wish i hadnt got my hopes up for a :DD: but i did and they have truely been shattered :tissue:

He had his feet under his bottom most of the scan and tech found it difficult to get a shot, then he put his hand in the way also but finally she got the shot. I will post it very soon.

Im in utter disbelief at, 100% girl guesses on skull and my mum and aunt were convinced also from 12 week scan, i had a gut feeling this was my :DD: but its not :(

Oh! I am sorry! My heart sunk when I read your post. :( I was really expecting you to hear girl! Are you okay? I don't know if it is any consolation right now, but I am sure he will be as gorgeous as your other 3 boys. :hugs: We are here to support you if you need to vent, etc.

I can't see the willy.

I know how you feel. That's what happened to me with DD2. I was SO SURE she was a boy, and when they said she was a girl at my 20 wk u/s, I totally fell apart. I hope you can make peace with your new baby boy before he arrives, but if you don't, it is okay--I promise. I love DD2 now, and even though it took a while, I really do appreciate her. You will love your new little guy too. :hugs:

That was best look we got as he had his feet at his bum and then is hand and she said that in the pic was his winky...could she be wrong? It does look diff from my DS3 potty shot as this gestation could see turtle with him clearly x

Is that not his winky??!!

I really didn't mean to get your hopes up--I am horrible at reading u/s pics. If you saw a winky, then you saw a winky would be my guess.... Maybe post it in the u/s forum and get those ladies to look at it.

The thing that looks like an atomic bomb looks more like part of a cord or maybe a finger.... The solid flat bar looks like the gender. But also it seem the picture is not straight on the gender.

Really ladies dont worry about it, my hopes were raised before the scan not now. I didnt see scrotum at all in scan just the long thing which tech said was willy. Wasnt as clear as DS3, i will post pic in ultrasound to get more opinions.

I found these on my CD from the 3d scan... I thought the tech was talking about the hand being in the way but to me it looks like a boy! They look nothing like my other boys.

HappyLea - just popping in to say *hugs*. Sorry they didn't give you a better quality potty shot picture... if it was a specific gender scan they would know what they were looking for? My little boy had everything on display very clearly... but still didn't stop me wondering (now and again, in weak moments) if they're wrong but know from the 4D picture that the cord was up over the shoulder so really there is no doubt in my case

HappyLea - my heart goes out to you, and I'm sooooo sorry you didn't hear girl. After my failed sway with ds3 I had a few days where I was crying constantly, then I started to feel better. By the time he was born I was excited to meet him. Your little guy must have really wanted to be part of your family!

If you have any doubt about your u/s I'd suggest you post it then pm both foxy and coldwater to ask them to look at it for you.

PP - sorry you're feeling so discouraged. I can't see your pics on my phone so I xan't comment on them, but I still feel such a shy baby has to be a girl. Surely if there was a willy there it would have popped into the screen at some point.
