Hello all! It’s been a long time! To give you a bit of background I have two lovely boys who are now 5 and 7 and came here for help to have my little girl who is now 3. I am so thankful for my family and if that’s it then that’s great. I am not sure if we will go for a 4th but if so I would like to do another pink sway. I am trying to lose weight regardless of whether we have a baby or not and for the past 4 months have been doing the 16:8 plan, which is basically black tea/ coffee/ water for 16 hours a day and then eat what you like in your 8 hour window- this often means high fat foods such as avocado/ nuts/ dairy.
Does anyone know how fasting/ this diet would affect the sway? I am not sure as weight loss good but lots of nutrition bad. Thanks for any advice

Hi again Schlingel!

Yes, 16-8 is a fine pattern for eating on a pink diet, but I want to be sure you're sticking in limits for LE Diet too. Since you're trying to lose weight I'd have you on 1500-1800 cals a day, 50-60 g protein and fat. The minimum limits are actually more important...I want to be sure you're eating enough to continue ovulating and get and stay pregnant. Do not drop below 1500 cals, 50 g protein and fat.

I am not a fan of 5/2 for swaying (this is eating normally 5 days a week, dieting strictly with 500 cals for 2 days a week). Cutting back on cal intake even just 2 days a week will end up stopping ovulation for people.
