Hello! Coming over from IG which seems to be done for sure now? I have 3 ds's and I'm due with a surprise in February.

welcome, what a lovely due date you have :)
may I ask, how have you managed to not scrutinise scan pics for nubs or look out for certain bodyparts during your routine scans? I love the fact that we can learn to spot these clues early, but how can you switch off/ignore them once you know them?

Since I'm very familiar with nub theory, I of course scrutinized (and still do!!) the 13 week scan pic I have. I didn't want to know though, and luckily got an inconclusive shot anyhow! During the ultrasound, I thought I saw the nub, but it was so quick and I don't have a video, which is good, because then I'd know for sure. I've thoroughly enjoyed obsessing, for fun, about this baby's gender. At my 19 week scan, we told the tech that we didn't want to know, so when she did that shot, we turned our heads away, and she was good not to show us other details after.

thank you, we're undecided about whether we'll find out or not next time, so it's good to know its possible to be truly team yellow!

even at my DS's dating scan I thought I saw a nub for a split second and thought it looked like a boy nub so that would be the one I'd have to be careful about lol
