View Full Version : Important points?

As the information is constantly changing, I was wondering if we could go over the point that at the moment are considered effective in the girl sway.
For example, when I first started reading up on it, it was all about the calc and mag supplements but I now understand thirst aren't that important?
Timing is now not important is that right? Abstaining for how many days and then just the one attempt is considered the best thing to do is that right?
Diet is the most important factor from what I have read? How long before does this need to be started?
Sorry for the long post but I will be starting in Feb so need to know x

Well, the most important points don't seem to change so much ;) And from what I gather, on this site cal/mag never really played a major role at all because they don't really help a pink sway too much.
The most important things you should do are LE or LE PCOS diet for at least 12 weeks, exercise (cardio) for at least 60min 6-7 days a week (or at least 4 days), and yes, one attempt. No, abstaining is not necessary and in fact isn't recommended for men over 35 because of sperm quality. Oh, and timing has been completely debunked. One attempt that catches the egg seems to be the way to go!! :)
You could add in alcohol -like, a glass of wine or a shot of vodka every day - since that seems to have been quite successful too.
Best of luck for your sway, I hope you get a cute pink bundle!! :)

Thankyou so much for replying! Very helpful! I was wondering about the alcohol actually, I don't drink very much so this would be a big change, how long would I also do this? And every day? I don't want to be a raging alcoholic by the end haha! I do have a daughter already she is 12 and back then I was very underweight so I definitely see the truth in that and will be trying to do the diet as best as I can!x

Yes I have read Atomic say many times that coffee (not decaf!) has gotten great results, about 3-4 cups a day I think she recommends.

Me neither ! Drink buckets of tea and no coffee and alcohol so that will definitely be changing for me when I start my pink sway!

It’s probably best to wait for Atomic to answer you as I’d hate to give you incorrect info- I’m still learning myself you see! I know she has some recommendations for the dads but I don’t think coffee drinking is a big deal for them.

I’m actually preggo at the mo! Due my second little boy in March so swaying is definitely not something I’ll be doing for a while! I’m just gathering info at the mo and being nosey about other people’s lives! Lol

Good luck with your sway!

Ahh congratulations!! Boys are really amazing, which may seem odd as here I am looking for girl advice 😂 But it's our last baby and I'd really love to see my husband have a girl! We will both be equally happy with a boy, he just seems only able to produce boys 😂 Good luck and Thankyou x

Oh yes little boys are so sweet, but you know... I just really want to experience both! I’ve always had my heart set on a daughter and as much as I love my sons, that feeling is still there.

We always said three children so swaying is a chance to boost the odds, we shall see!

[emoji1695] good luck to you, I’ll be looking out for your news

LE Diet plus fiber, cofffe, alcohol, giivng up prenatals and fortified foods, and not taking probiotics
Cardio exercise 60 min a day, 6-7 days a week is best but anything more than 4 is getting good results
one attempt in the fertile window to start with
Clomid or Femara if you can get them

For DH - jogging and biking, and smoking are proven to sway in studies. Olive leaf and soy milk may help

Everything else has not worked - only cuts odds of conception.

Timing doesn't work but you can use it if you want. Abstain hasn't worked but you can try it if you like, 7-10 days before one attempt. teh one attempt is what really matters.

Diet needs to be 12 weeks before trying if at all possible but if you're trying in feb, start now, and then for all you know you won't get pregnant first month out anyway.

That is so helpful Thankyou so much! Lots of points to consider! I have recently done slimming world, well before I got married in sept so I will have to get my head back into dieting! Cardio, do we consider speed walking as cardio? As this helped me lose a lot of weight before x

Yes walking is actully my fave type of cardio as too many people get injured doing more strenuous things.

A lot of people have used a modified slimming world - that can work within limits!
