I’ve been TTC since November 2017 and swaying since April 2018. This month I didn’t really try as I was sick, eating very little around O day, and just thought I would not get pregnant since we were trying for such a long time! We BD 6,4 and 3 days before ovulation. I wasn’t expecting a BFP at all, and at 7dpo I got my BFP! Does that count as 3 attempts?

Not an expert but I wonder if you O'd sooner than you think given a bfp at 7 dpo seems a little early to me?
I wonder if you could be say 9 dpo? Or something. This might mean your attempts are more like O-4, O-3 and O-1. If that's the case than you likely have 2-3 attempts.
If youre sure of your O day then I think its only 1-2 attempts given that 6 days before O wouldnt count and theres only a slim chance of the 4 day before O attempt counting.
Congrats on your bfp, sending you my pink dust.

I’m pretty sure of O date because I had my temp spike Jan 6th, BDs were Dec 30th, Jan 1 and 2, I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be pregnant this month because right after we dtd I got up right away and “cleaned it up” (sorry TMI). I always get early BFP! My latest was at 9dpo. It was a faint line at 7dpo, and I’m now 9dpo with a very dark BFP! Thank you!! ❤️

Congrats on your pregnancy! Not an expert BUT does your temp spike right away (next day) or does it take a few days? 7dpo does seem very early to get a BFP. I think it usually takes a few days after implantation for HCG to get high enough. What test was it?
If your dates are right then if you go by M/Th rule (or 72 hours) that would be 2 attempts I think but if you go by M/F pattern then it’s only one I think.

My temp has always spiked the next day. I got a very faint line on FRER at 7dpo, digital was negative. And at 9dpo I got a stronger line and a positive digital. With my previous pregnancies I always get an early BFP. Thank you!
