BFP early - girl or boy...any truth?

Wondered if anyone had any insight on the following...

Is there any truth to the - if you test early and get BFP it’s a girl as HCG is higher in females carrying girls?? Or is that Rubbish?

With all 3 of my girls it was about 12dpo. This one is slightly earlier at 11dpo - I’ve always tested early as I’m a bit of a pregnancy test addict in the tww :)

Experiences/insights appreciated :)

ive had false negatives with so many of my babies that i gave up testing before af was several days late, this time i broke my rule and got the faintest line at 11/12 dpo (team green so dont know gender) but i dont think there is any truth in it at all, Congratulations on your bfp!! :D everything crossed for this to be your little boy!!

Thanks atomic. I was spiralling a bit - I was a bit overwhelmed by the BFP and my mind just starting going crazy! You read a few things online and then it just was all a bit doom and gloom. Massively appreciate you taking the time to reply and explain. Feeling a lot more positive so thank you xxx
