I'm torn between swaying or just adopting. It will still be 2-3 years before her have another, we want another, I just dont know if I could sway and it fail again. I would be happy with three boys but three is our stopping point for kids.

My little one Aidan Andrew was born on April 1st. We had a VBAC and no induction, so that's wonderful. He came out super fast and is 9 lb 1 oz so I have some serious healing to do. Both of my girlsways didn't work out girl, but both sons are perfect. Big Brother 4.5 is very happy to have a baby brother, and he keeps calling him she or her, but it doesn't bother me a bit.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190406/b68d2b326254806590aafd7743bca51f.jpg

My ppaf came last month, so I’m good to go. I’ve gained so much weight though.... I basically had a hardcore boy sway while pregnant and I’m still up over 40 pounds (gained 70 total). I’m exclusively breastfeeding, does anyone know if it’s safe to take cinnamon and cranberry supplements? Last time I was also vegetarian for several years but that went out the window while pregnant

Hi ladies,
I haven’t posted on here in months. I gave birth to a sway opposite baby BOY March 15. I see a lot of moms are considering doing another sway and I’m currently stuck between convincing hubby of doing high tech to get our girl or gambling with another sway. Three is also our limit of kids so I only have one more chance of getting a girl. We would like to wait two years before conceiving though. Hope you are all enjoying your newborns!

If high tech is an option do it! I wish I could but swaying is my only option xx
Congratulations on your beautiful boy too!

Me too!!! I’m debating starting another sway in a few months.... it’d be a very different sway so I’m much less confident. Does everyone think it’s better/easier to have kids a year apart or 4 years apart?

My DS1 & DS2 are 21 months apart then there is only a 16month gap between ds2 and my new DD. have them close together is hard now but I can already see they will be so close growing up and I think that will make the hard times now worth it later. I think it is just personal preference if you want them close together in age or a little bit more of a gap. It is definitely easier with DS1 ( now 3 1/2) able to help a little and do some things for himself while DS2 still is a mummy's boy and needs me for everything.

Definitely not too old Noemi! We can cheer each other on xxyeah! not too old. chances are still very good for conception at 40, lots of the statistics that say otherwise are based on very old data. Good luck with your sways.

Hi Kel
Did you breastfeed your ds2 and If so any tips for conceiving at 7/8 months postpartum like you would have to have a 16 month gap?

Hi Kel

No wasn't breastfeeding as my DS2 refused to breastfeed after 4 months of age (he had bad reflux and had to have meds in expressed breastmilk from a bottle after every feed so he soon discovered a bottle was quicker and he could see what his brother was doing easier with a bottle rather than breastfeeding so refused to feed except from a bottle - I was devastated as I fed DS1 til 14 months). DD1 was our surprise baby (was on the pill but had gastro as didn't think about it as was busy with two energetic boys). Was lightly swaying as was trying to talk DH into trying again for our DD (DS2 was a sway opposite). Was doing a light PCOS LE diet with no added exercise as so busy with boys anyway. Really tried not to stress over swaying as we were not even trying yet. Think that was the key for me. Stressed so much about diet and exercise with DS2's sway. No real suggestions for swaying so soon other than try to not stress about swaying as that's likely to delay PPAF if your really stressed. And also think key was not having really strict lower limits like I did with DS2. Took me 6 months of trying on LE diet to get pregnant with Ds2. Good luck with your sway. Fingers crossed for you.

Oh Kel I can imagine you'd be devastated that he didn't want to breastfeed I'd feel the same!
Thanks for the tips they are helpful and definitely what I need to hear re: not stressing this time- I was obsessed with my two failed sways and it's not good!

And yes I hear you on the strict limits too- I was on the Le last time for over a year and lost 30 kg ( obviously had pp weight to lose) and still had an opposite so strict does not always work.

Congrats Lil on your little boy!!!!!!

So exciting to see that a lot of you will be swaying/TTC again soon!! Hoping you all get your girls!!! As bonkers as it sounds I’m a little jealous- I still haven’t accepted that we’re “done” and it makes me so sad to know that stage of life (including swaying!) is over! :(

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMiss all you ladies! I didnt realize two kids (I mean I should have, but you know) kept you so busy. My boys are amazing! Lucas is a better baby than I ever thought. I guess I thought since he was my second and my pregnancy was so hard that he would be difficult. He is by far an easier baby than my first and so much happier.

Hi ladies! I think of you girls often but rarely get a chance to get online long enough to skim over things! Hope you all are doing well!!

My twins are doing great. They turned 11 weeks old yesterday and they are just the bees knees :) I had a fairly tough time at the start. Trying to bond with two babies simultaneously was a lot harder than I anticipated. I mean, of course I love them both but it has been an uphill struggle at times. Zach is a chilled little dude except when he is even the slightest bit hungry and then he screams to be fed. Once he's full he goes back to being super chill. Izzy is a little more fussy through the day, wanting to be cuddled more. I wish I could sit under her but with 3 older ones and her twin brother I have little time to spare. She is a super sleeper at night though currently sleeping 8pm to 6am most nights. Zach wakes around 4am so he's not bad either in all fairness to him!!
Here they are the other day https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190529/229d19632b2927c7f5c051c968f4102f.jpg

Gorgeous babies Hopper, they are adorable. This is the first chance I have had to get online and check up on everyone here for 9 weeks! Life has been a bit crazy with 3 - my DD still wakes 2-4 times a night unfortunately but she's been teething and had several colds that have made her unsettled. She has definitely changed our life - in a good way although I can't remember when I last slept more than 3 hours straight - but like ABC sad that she is definitely my last - I would love to give her a sister but 3 is definitely it for me, especially as I now find myself a single mum of 3 under 4 years - not something I ever thought would happen to me but life doesn't always go to plan
