View Full Version : Had Ingender totally died now?

Hi guys
I mainly frequent this website now but given my obsession with all things gender I find myself surfing IG from time to time. I went to the other day but each time I try to go to the forums I get the same message - the main website is still there but every time I click on the forums button it says: "The page you have requested no longer exists".
http://www.in-gender.com/cs/error-notfound.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/cs/eurl.axd/e879ed550b193744a2d59f73c87d16af/
I can still go into my profile though and find all my own posts etc, so they are still there somehow, but I cant see the rest of the forum. Is anyone else getting into IG at all, or does it seem that the forum has been totally disabled now?
I wonder what all the people on IG will do? I really feel for all the people who are in the midst of GD or have been planning a sway etc, with IG as the only platform that they know of for support and information - and suddenly it seems to have been pulled out from under their feet. They would have no way of contacting each other to launch a new website or anything either. It also seems a shame that so much work and so many years or work and documented sway attempts, statistics etc appear to have vanished into thin air!

I get the same message. I haven't been able to get in for a week or two.

Wow... maybe it has. But then again, everytime I think 'right that's it - I'm done: IG is dead', it starts working normally again! It's turned into a pretty crazy site over the last couple of years.

I got the page not found error also, but I can still get to the forums through the direct links:
MicroSort and PGD - In-Gender.com (http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/84.aspx)
High Tech Gender Selection - In-Gender.com (http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/default.aspx?GroupID=27)
Those are only the HT forums but I imagine if someone has links to the other forums you could get in the same way.

You can still get into all the forums and post as normal. Type the name into google and under the main title brought up it lists a few threads which you can read, but if the one you want isn't there, just click the bit that says something like view more and they all appear. Hope this makes sense! X

I cannot access it either :( In previous occasions when I tried to access it I got an error message of sorts, but in the last week I have only seen that message that the page no longer exists. You can do a search in google and find specific threads, but not access the main page anymore. It is a shame.

This is the saddest thing of all... so many people have shared their expereince and there is a whole lot of data on there, that now no longer seems to be accessible thanks to poor website maintenance. It is also a shame as I felt that I 'knew' a lot of the ladies on there, despite never being the most frequent of posters!
Anyway, props to gender dreaming for a well maintained website, I love how easy this site is to use :cheer:

You can get in but you have to go 'round the houses'. just type anything into the search facility eg pgd or genesis and previous posts come up. this then allows you in. it worked for me this morning

I came to IG first, but the monkeys and the site maintience issues always frustrated the heck out of me. I found this website and while I still try once in a while to get into IG, I no longer feel the "need" to try to read there, this is a great place to be :)

She has made rare appearances on FB and occasionally comments on someone's FB status like nothing ever happened. :/
She is also the only one who fixes things on IG so when things get fixed, it was her.

Oh and it makes my physically ill the huge body of data that would be lost both for swaying and HT attempts. Lots of good parenting tips on there too. :(

Yeah, IG definitely has a lot of good resources, and I still do hope it comes back up, just so I could go there once in a while, but I am surely and truly a gender dreaming lifer now :)

The whole thing was so weird and badly dealt with.
Those 'old' moderators behaved atrociously, IMO.

what's on there that isn't on here swaying-wise?
I haven't read that much on there (only long enough to know that some of the swaying suggestions were flawed) and feel like this place has had more than enough info to build a good sway

I started on this site and have only gone to IG to see the monkeys that everyone was talking about lol. I couldn't work out what the heck these monkeys were! I did find out pretty qick though, and haven't been back.

Rainbowflower, do you mind if I ask you which suggestions? I am guessing it has to do with some of the suggested supplements and maybe also the abstinence thing? Just curious to know, only in a 'making sure I am on track' type way. I have read so much info in the last 6-12 months that I feel like my head is spinning somedays trying to make sense of it all
This place is very supportive and yes, has more than enough info to build a good sway!

Wow, seriously? She doesn't notice that her site is practially crashing? I wonder if she just gave up on it or something... if so, that would be really sad - so many people used to love and go on IG everyday. But then again. I'm kinda glad IG stuffed up, because if it was still working there wouldn't be Gender Dreaming :).

Charliecats had dropped off when I last looked but I liked her.
The others I didn't bother looking for. They were bullies. What were their names? I've forgotten.

I think I know which people you were talking about. It's making me feel quite sad actually, so many people are leaving IG for good. It's becoming a ghost town.

It's still there but you have to google it to get in. For example: "Ingender Ultrasound" and then you can get into the u/s gender prediction forum.
I think it's really sad that Maureen is just letting her site go like that. It's realy ridiculous the amount of problems it has but she doesn't seem to care.

If you select "my profile" then select "personalize forums" you can get to all the forums that way. They are all there x
