Ovary pain 10dpo Help

Hello ladies,
I wonder if any of you have had the same issues.
I have been taking 50mg of Clomid for the first time this cycle.
I had a static smiley on CD14 along with EWCM and DTD that evening. The day after I had noticeable ovary pain on the right hand side along.

Yesterday on 10dpo I had quite bad ovary pain on the right hand side and this morning and throughout the day i've had pink spotting.
I'm roughly 4-5 days away from AF
but I haven't taken clomid before and don't know if this is normal side effect or something else?

Any help would be greatly received.

Yes, it's normal. You have a big corpus luteum in your ovary at this stage that may be either breaking down (if not pregnnat) or gearing up to make lots of progesterone (if pregnant) and both these things can cause pain. Clomid aggravates it. It isn't necessarily even ovary pain as also you can have cramping in the fallopian tubes and uterus and everything is close quarters so it's hard to know where it's coming from.

thanks Atomic, it felt like ovulation pain just a bit worse but yes it could have been anywhere on the right hand side I guess.
i have stopped spotting now but maybe AF is on the way SX
