girl sway, fingers crossed

Hi

I'm trying to sway pink again after 4 boys. I have been following stories and threads for a number of months.


I have been tracking for 4 months and using opks and clearblue digital. Tried 1 attempt this month on flashing smiley face, I believe 2-3 days before. I'm very regular on a 26-27 day cycle.

I'm 38, hubby is 47.
No diet, minimal exercise.
Hubby smokes and drinks

I took a hot shower and used some refresh after attempt. shallow penetration, I was on top, no missionary.

What do you think my odds are for swaying pink this month? I will only be trying one more month and if it doesn't work I will be giving up the dream of having a daughter.

If this attempt doesn't work, is there anything else you would suggest. I don't think my doctor will give me clomid or femerra because she doesn't know I'm trying and doesn't think I want any more. I could go and try a clinic and see if I can get some there.

What do you think the best thing is for girl sway going forward that will increase my chances, Hubby is not on board with trying anything.

Id make my attempt at static smiley face not
Flashy and i wouldn't use refresh etc if i was only giving myself 2 month ttc! No baby means defintily no daughter not even a chance l. Thats just me though and what id do as i dont think timing sways anyway good luck xoxooxox

I don't give people odds.

I really really urge you to stop doing things like RepHresh, shallow release, and cutoff. Those things don't work and really cut odds of conception to nothing.

I would have you,in your final month, go to every 4 days (in the 72 hour or Monday/Thursday pattern)and then add in one more attempt at positive OPK. Drop shallow penetration/release and RepHresh.

If you can't get pregnant you have no chance of a girl.

Thanks for the advice. I got my bfp! this month.

Just did couple of things, lite sway
One attempt I believe 2.5 days cutoff. Used digital ovulation tests and bd on first flashing smiley face. Used refresh finger after attempt and took a hot shower. Also was not taking any prenatal vitamins like I did with my boys.
Did not try diet or exercise, but did try to skip breakfast.
I believe my boys were all 2 day cutoff so very boy territory. I was thinking of trying on ovulation day but didn’t want to chance but didn’t realize timing doesn’t matter.

2 day cutoff is supposed to be GIRL territory but luckily timing doesn't sway anyway.
