Read vitex faq but stil have question

I'm just wondering if adding vitex will mess up my cycle. My cycle is usually 34 days but not every month. I am ttc right now after a chemical, shoud I start it today or wait to next cycle if no bfp?

At 40 (41 in April) I just don't want to mess with too much but I do want to do enough to sway as girly as possible.

It can, but that may be how it sways - by gently suppressing yoru fertility somewhat and/or altering your hormone profile.
